Step 1
Start by sketching Venom’s head. Use curved lines to create an irregular oval.
Step 2
Sketch of Venom’s muscular arm. Use curved lines to outline each muscle. Surround the hand with a “U” shaped line, forming pointed fingers.
Step 3
Use overlapping curves to draw Venom’s shoulder and remaining arm. Enclose the hand using overlapping lines to indicate clenched fingers. Then draw a rectangle on the back of Venom’s hand.
Step 4
Use overlapping curves to sketch Venom’s chest and a muscular leg. Enclose the foot using short, curved lines to distinguish the toes. Then, draw a curved triangle at the tip of each toe to represent a claw-like toenail.
Step 5
Outline Venom’s remaining side and legs, completing the outline of the character. Again, use curved lines to distinguish the toes and draw rounded triangles to form the fingernails. Add details to the hand. Use short lines to outline additional pointed fingers and place a rectangle on the back of the hand.
Step 6
Added muscular detail to Venom’s body. Draw short, curved lines across the shoulders, at the base of the legs, at the knees, and above the ankles.
Step 7
Venom’s face detail. Use curved, wavy lines to enclose two irregular teardrop shapes. Notice the points on each end. These are Venom’s eyes. Outline the curved triangle of his open mouth and connect it to one side of the face with a curved line. Then, draw two rows of pointed, triangular teeth inside the mouth.
Step 8
Draw Venom’s blade, erasing paths as needed. Extend two long “S” shaped lines from the bottom row of teeth. Allow the lines to meet at a sharp point.
Step 9
Draw a spider symbol on Venom’s chest. Use curved lines to create the spider’s body and sharp fangs. Draw the legs with pairs of lines. Spider detail with curved, horizontal lines on belly.
Step 10
Colored venom. He is usually black with gray patches and a bright red tongue.
