Step 1
Start with an elongated circle for the mouth. On this shape, draw an upside down heart and color it. Sketch two semicircles with dashed lines at the top. Use separate triangles to connect the face, then draw a curved line over the right eye. Add a few short lines for depth.
Step 2
Next, draw uneven rectangles for the upper set of teeth. Use irregular, slightly rounded shapes for the lower teeth. Don’t draw rectangles – instead, draw separate shapes that overlap to create size for the teeth. Add a line to connect the teeth, then use another heart shape for the tongue.
Step 3
Start with a loosely curved shape facing downwards. For the ears, use two loops to create a butterfly shape. Next, draw a semi-straight serrated line to create the jaw.
Sketch a loose L shape below the mouth and next to the right eye, then add an elongated heart shape inside the mouth. Finally, use sketchy lines for the hair.
Step 4
Draw outline lines inside the face to give depth to the face. Sketch a curved line below the ear, then draw a wide arrow below the jaw to make the neck. Connect the neck with a wide wavy line ending in a triangle. Draw another triangle on the left.
Behind the neck, start with a point and slowly bend the line down until it ends in another triangle. Draw a tube on the right side and erase a few lines.
Step 5
Start with the arm with a wide triangle, then bring it down and make two sausage shapes for the first finger. Repeat the sausage shape for the next two fingers. Make sure the shapes point in slightly different directions to show that the fingers are joint.
Next, add a curved line for the palm, then draw a straight line facing down. Use sketchy triangles to make the sleeves.
Step 6
Start from the right side of the body with a long, curved line, then create sketchy shapes below and connect them to the body with another line. This shape resembles a ghost from a cartoon. Use straight lines and triangles for the top of the left arm.
Next, use a long straight line for the left arm. Add an elongated sausage shape for the first finger.
Step 7
For the right foot, start with a slightly jagged curve near the bottom. On the left, use more sausage shapes for the fingers and complete the hand with straight lines.
Step 8
Use two downward straight lines with a curved line in the center for the left leg. Add a parallel line about an inch away to complete the leg, then draw a similar line for the right leg. Connect each leg with jagged lines like blades of grass. Add outline lines to create folds in the fabric.
Step 9
Draw a curved line for the instep of the left foot, then draw waves for the lower part of the foot and curve them upwards for the toe. Add more semicircles for the rest of the toes and complete the foot with an upward pull.
On the right, draw a loop for the back of the right foot, then drag the line down and repeat the previous line to complete the shape.

Outline your drawing with a black pen or marker. When you’re done, erase the excess pencil lines to complete your animated scary zombie outline.
