Despite being part of a transsexual, Aaron Carter’s version of “I Want Candy,” Bow Wow Wow’s is original and therefore must be mentioned. While the song is clearly about someone Bow Wow Wow (or Aaron Carter!) wants to date, for kids, it’s also just about candy. Children love candy.
I remember when I was a little kid sitting on my father’s lap and watching this show on MTV. He passed away more than 20 years ago and now I am a father, watching this movie with my little daughter in my lap. Maybe one day she will sit and watch it with her children, thinking about the old father and grandfather she never got to see.
