You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start by drawing a small circle. This will outline the dove’s head.

    Step 2

Draw two curved lines extending from the circle, meeting at a point to form the bird’s beak. Draw another curved line between the circle and the tip of the beak, showing the division of the upper and lower parts.

    Step 3

Draw a series of overlapping curved lines, forming the neck of the bird as well as the details of the feathers.

    Step 4

Draw a large oval below the neck and head, outlining the body of the bird.

    Step 5

Draw a long and curved line, connecting the neck to the oval and then extending from it. This extension is the tip of the pigeon’s tail.

    Step 6

Wrap the wing using a series of curved lines, extending from side to side of the oval. Draw some short, curved lines to add more detail to the wings.

    Step 7

Draw a long, curved line from the front of the neck to the base of the wings, outlining the neck and belly of the bird.

    Step 8

Remove guides from the head and body.

    Step 9

Draw a long, curved line extending from the wings, outlining the bottom edge of the tail. Draw a series of curved lines, joined together to add detail to the center of the tail.

    Step 10

Connect the top and bottom of the tail using a series of interconnected, overlapping curved lines.

    Step 11

Draw a series of curved lines, connecting from the wings to the tail. Place additional curves inside the tail, adding details.

    Step 12

Use a curved line around the shape of the beak. Use two curved lines to create the shape of the eye, focusing on a point on each eye. Draw a curved line through the eye to enclose the pupil. Add details by drawing a small circle. Shade the pupil.

    Step 13

Draw a curved line at the base of the head to indicate the function. Then draw some curved lines, connecting each other on the neck, wings and tail, creating the texture of the feathers.

    Step 14

Start creating the crow’s feet by enclosing a triangle below the wing, using a series of curved lines.

    Step 15

Connect the tip of the triangle to the body using a curved line.

    Step 16

Draw the foot using a continuous curved line that doubles over itself, forming an “X” shape. Draw a small, curved triangle at the end of each toe to represent the claws.

    Step 17

Draw the foot far behind the first foot, using curved lines. Draw a triangular claw at the top of each foot.

    Step 18

Draw an “S” shaped line going through the bird’s beak. Draw a line to represent the ground beneath its feet, and lines of varying lengths to create the ground texture.

    Step 19

    Color your pigeon.

How to draw a bluebird step by step - Bird Drawing easy for beginners

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start by sketching the bird’s head in blue. Use a curve to form the top of the head. Then use some curves to create a triangular beak. Finally, use another curve to draw the neck below the beak.

    Step 2

Stretch and curves from the front and back of the neck, outlining the back and abdomen.

    Step 3

Draw a “W” shaped line at the bottom of the bird’s back. This outlines the end of the wing. Then draw a series of short, curves and “U” shaped lines from the letter “W” to the mine. This outlines the bird’s color scheme.

    Step 4

Stretch a pair of lines from the top of the wing to form the tail. Use a series of “U” shaped lines to wrap around the bottom end. Draw long, nearly straight lines along the length of the tail.

    Step 5

Uses a series of short lines to connect the abdomen to the tail, allowing them to meet at jagged points. Notice the longer pair of lines that make up the bird’s upper leg.

    Step 6

Stretch a pair of parallel lines from the upper leg, forming the lower leg. Then, surround a “U” shape at the bottom of the foot to outline the grip of the foot. On the instep, wrap some curves to form the claw.

    Step 7

In addition to the foot, draw a small circle. Connect it with pins using a pair of straight lines. This starts the branch on which the bird is perching. Extend the lines beyond the foot. Just below the upper leg, draw a curved and pointed shape on the top of the branch, indicating the other leg.

    Step 8

Detail and texture of the bird. Use “U” and “J” shaped lines of different sizes to add a feather texture to the wings. Use hyphen to create head, neck, and chest details.

    Step 9

Mine detail with short lines. Draw a circular eye, with a much smaller circle inside it. Add dimension using short lines around the eyes.

    Step 10

Color your blue bird. Oriental blue birds have a bright blue head, back, wings and tail. The neck and chest are red or orange, and the belly is white. The male blue bird has a lighter feather color than the female.
