Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below
You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Start by drawing a small circle. This will outline the dove’s head.
Step 2
Draw two curved lines extending from the circle, meeting at a point to form the bird’s beak. Draw another curved line between the circle and the tip of the beak, showing the division of the upper and lower parts.
Step 3
Draw a series of overlapping curved lines, forming the neck of the bird as well as the details of the feathers.
Step 4
Draw a large oval below the neck and head, outlining the body of the bird.
Step 5
Draw a long and curved line, connecting the neck to the oval and then extending from it. This extension is the tip of the pigeon’s tail.
Step 6
Wrap the wing using a series of curved lines, extending from side to side of the oval. Draw some short, curved lines to add more detail to the wings.
Step 7
Draw a long, curved line from the front of the neck to the base of the wings, outlining the neck and belly of the bird.
Step 8
Remove guides from the head and body.
Step 9
Draw a long, curved line extending from the wings, outlining the bottom edge of the tail. Draw a series of curved lines, joined together to add detail to the center of the tail.
Step 10
Connect the top and bottom of the tail using a series of interconnected, overlapping curved lines.
Step 11
Draw a series of curved lines, connecting from the wings to the tail. Place additional curves inside the tail, adding details.
Step 12
Use a curved line around the shape of the beak. Use two curved lines to create the shape of the eye, focusing on a point on each eye. Draw a curved line through the eye to enclose the pupil. Add details by drawing a small circle. Shade the pupil.
Step 13
Draw a curved line at the base of the head to indicate the function. Then draw some curved lines, connecting each other on the neck, wings and tail, creating the texture of the feathers.
Step 14
Start creating the crow’s feet by enclosing a triangle below the wing, using a series of curved lines.
Step 15
Connect the tip of the triangle to the body using a curved line.
Step 16
Draw the foot using a continuous curved line that doubles over itself, forming an “X” shape. Draw a small, curved triangle at the end of each toe to represent the claws.
Step 17
Draw the foot far behind the first foot, using curved lines. Draw a triangular claw at the top of each foot.
Step 18
Draw an “S” shaped line going through the bird’s beak. Draw a line to represent the ground beneath its feet, and lines of varying lengths to create the ground texture.
Step 19
Color your pigeon.
