Step 1
I have a question for you, are you ready to go for a walk in the park and draw a kitten? First, start by drawing simple line art that will help guide you through the Hello Kitty process. If you look closely these instructions look like Japanese letters right?
Step 2
Now, take your pencil and draw a big, wide oval to make Hello Kitty’s head. Then, draw another circle around the oval you just drew and add the shape of two round balls. Next draw two elongated oval eyes and fill them in and add eyelashes. Now let’s draw the kitten’s simple body frame, which is basically a square with a glove attached for the hand. Now draw her thick thick legs and the shape of the stylish boots she’s wearing. Don’t forget to draw her button nose.
Step 2
Now in the final step you will draw all the accessories that the Hello Kitty character is wearing. Stare at the oversized bow at the corner of her right ear. Now draw her beard attached to her cheeks instead of her nose. Now all you need to do is draw the shirt straps, bracelets, heart belt she is wearing and detail her incredibly cute shoes. After you’ve drawn all these extra charms, erase the paths and circles that you redrawn in steps 1 & 2.
Step 4
You have now completed your drawing. This is what your hello kitty character will look like when you’re done. You can color her outfit any color you want and add more accessories if you want. It’s a super easy tutorial on “how to draw Hello Kitty step by step” isn’t it.
