How to Draw a Lemming step by step
Step 1
body outline
Sketch the elongated shape of the lemming’s body as shown.
Step 2
Draw faces
First, draw two shaded ovals for the eyes. Next, sketch a circle for the nose. Then, form two rectangles for the teeth.
Step 3
Attach the ears
First, draw a semicircle to form the outline of the lemming’s ears. Next, create a C-shaped line inside the semicircle. Then, draw the remaining ear by creating a curved line.
Step 4
Form the legs
Shape the lemming’s visible legs by drawing curved lines. Then, attach the feet to the bottom of each leg by creating a curved shape with two lines.
Step 5
Draw fur patterns
First, create curved wavy lines connecting its nose. Then, draw another wavy line along its belly.
Step 6
Complete the Lemming drawing
Let’s add some color to our drawing of a lemming! First, use a dark brown pen to color the fur on the lemming’s back. Next, use a light brown pen to color its underbelly and inner ears. Finally, use brown to paint the rest of the lemming’s body.
