You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Attach the lotus petals to the center. To do so, use two curved lines, allowing them to meet at a sharp point at the top. The bottom should be flat or round like a teardrop shape.

    Step 2

Draw a second petal extending from one side of the first. Again, use two curved lines, meeting at a sharp point at the top.

    Step 3

Draw the third petal by extending two curved lines over the first, so that the lines meet at a sharp point.

    Step 4

Draw more petals on the back of the flower, visible between the previous petals. Again, use two lines for each, allowing them to meet in points.

    Step 5

Draw the lower petals of the flower. To do so, extend three sets of curves outward from the bottom of the flower. Allow lines to meet at points.

    Step 6

Draw more petals between the existing upper petals, using two curved lines for each.

    Step 7

Draw more lower petals emerging from the back of the flower. Then detail some of the petals by drawing lines of different lengths from their base. This adds depth to the flower.

    Step 8

Draw the anther, or pollen-producing structure inside the flower. For each anther, extend two short, parallel lines from the center of the flower. Enclose the lines by drawing a circle at the top.

    Step 9

Draw the environment of flowers. Draw a slightly curved horizon line passing behind the flower. Draw a lily pad underneath it by enclosing an irregular circle. Draw a few more lily pieces, each of which is an irregular circle like a cake with a slice from it. Detail the lily pads using short and curved lines. Then, draw wavy, horizontal lines of varying lengths around the lily to represent ripples in the water.

    Step 10

Color your lotus. In nature, lotus flowers can be white, red, pink, purple, yellow, or a combination of these colors.

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Draw a large oval over a smaller flat shape.

    Step 2

Next by extending the two petal-like structures from the junction of the ovals on either side.

    Step 3

Draw a few thick pointed petals on the sides. Their bodies should be made of sufficient curves as shown in the figure

    Step 4

Define the curves on the guides drawn in step 1. The prominent pointed petals emerge distinctly from the bulky oval forms.

    Step 5

Mark curves on the guides outlined in step 3. The outer edges of the petals resemble the letter “S”.

    Step 6

Go through step 2’s instructions in detail by creating a nice double border on the bottom edge of the petal.

    Step 7

Draw a set of three overlapping petals on the right side of the shape. The larger ones are divided by a sharp line.

    Step 8

Repeat step 7 for the left part of the shape.

    Step 9

Fill the spaces between the vertical petals with curved triangles representing the tips of the rarely visible petals. The jagged lines in the middle represent the center of the flower.

    Step 10

Now it’s time to finalize by drawing a large circular leaf around the lotus flower at the bottom.

    Step 11

You can beautify it by wearing bright colors.

Children will love seeing the mesmerizing fruit of their efforts on canvas. It is a learning experience that they will cherish for a long time.

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start by drawing an irregular, pointed oval and open at one end.

    Step 2

Draw another irregular, open oval below the first one, connected at the point of the hole.

    Step 3

Draw a third, irregular, open oval, connected to the second.

    Step 4

Draw a fourth open shape using a curve. It will connect to the third oval.

    Step 5

Using the two inner curves and the “M” shape, draw two more open ovals, narrowing the gap between the first and the fourth. The resulting shape will resemble an unusual flower.

    Step 6

Next, start stretching your petals. Use the curves to stretch the three left petals into blunt points.

    Step 7

Use curves to stretch the three petals on the right side to form blunt points.

    Step 8

Erase the lines of the original oval that cut across your newly formed petals.

    Step 9

Now you will start to draw the anther of the lily. From the center of the flower, span two parallel, curved lines. Connect the lines by drawing a small oval between them at the end.

    Step 10

Draw another anther extending upwards from the center of the flower. Again, draw two curves, parallel, connected by a small oval.
