You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Begin sketching the manta ray by drawing a curved line and duplicating it. This is one of the cephalic or cephalic fins, an extension of the wing-like pectoral fins.
Do you know? Sailors initially thought the head fins looked like horns and gave this fish the nickname devil’s ray.

    Step 2

Draw a “C” shaped line overlapping the edge of the head fin. This is the top of the ray’s mouth. Use another curved line to draw the bottom of the open mouth.
Fun fact: stingrays swim with their mouths open because they are filter feeders. They take in water and filter out tiny plankton and other organisms they eat.

    Step 3

Use a curved line, doubling itself, to draw the remaining head fin. Outline the inside of the mouth with a curved line.

    Step 4

Above the head fin, draw an oval for the eye. Create a shadow for a smaller oval inside it. Draw the outline above the eye using a curved line.

    Step 5

Use a short curved line for the opposite eye rim, then a long curved line for the ray body.

    Step 6

Draw the large, wing-like pectoral fins using two curved lines that meet at a slight point. The lines will form a curved triangle.

    Step 7

Draw the remaining pectoral fins. Use two long curved lines that meet at a gentle point to partially enclose the triangle.

    Step 8

Draw a curve for the ray body. Then extend an “S” shaped line from the base of the fin, starting at the stingray’s tail.

    Step 9

Use two curved lines to draw a triangular dorsal fin on the ray’s back. Then finish encircling the tail with another “S” shaped line.

    Step 10

Your stingray sketch is now complete. We colored our gray with a lighter belly. Giant stingrays are usually black.

How to paint a cute fish step by step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1:

The first fish is at the bottom of the page in an up-right position. To draw the body, create an almond-like structure with two arches starting at the same point. Don’t join the lines and leave a small loophole. You can find similarities of body shape with that of a goldfish.

Now add the Betta’s fins on the sides of the body. At the top, draw a long fin. Then create two small fins on the fish’s belly at the bottom. The first fin will pass through the body, while the second, relatively smaller, will be at the edge of the body.

To make the fishtail, connect the ends of the arch by extending them with curved lines. Connect the two with a half circle opened on the outside. Add details to the tail by creating two curved strokes.

Fish is ready. Just add some bubbles in front of the fish face.

    Other details
Now to show the water around the fish you need to fill the remaining space with details like the water waves. Therefore, let’s draw more bubbles along with wavy lines. It will also give the impression that the fish is moving in the water. Now you can move on to coloring the cute fish picture.

    Step 2:

Paint the background with blue acrylic paint
Simple, cute and whimsical underwater fish painting for kids and beginners Step 2: Paint the background with blue acrylic paint
Start drawing by coloring the foreground using the wash technique. We will use a blue color to cover the space. Use a moderately rounded paintbrush and be careful not to color in any other design except the background. Let the color dry for some time.

Once dry, use a light blue color to draw waves and bubbles on the background. Since you need soft curves here, use a smooth brush to create waves.

Move on to drawing the first fish. We will use color combinations of different bright colors here to create a picture of tropical fish. For the head and fins, use radiant orange. You can also color the tail with orange, but cover only the middle.
