    Step 1

    Start with three circles. One for the front, one for the mid-body and one for the rear, which is larger than the other two. Next, draw guide lines on the face and connect the neck and body lines.

    Step 2

    Now you will draw the big ears and then use the facial guides to draw the original shape of the eyes. Then you will draw a “V” shape for the nose and then draw a neck shape that falls over the shoulders. Then you would draw an inward curving front paw and then add a tail line.

    Step 3

    Next, add ear lines to give details to the ears and then draw the rest of the cat’s eyes. Then you will add slits for the pupils and then outline the shape of the face and make sure you add a bit of fluff. Give this kitten a mouth line and then the rest of the paw shapes including the paws. Thicken the tail and move on to the next step.

    Step 4

    This is your final drawing step and what you will do now is add the beard and then the walkways. Erase the principles and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.

    Step 5

    Step 1

    Draw the outline of the cat’s head and body.
    Describe the head as a circle. To draw the body of the cat, use a curved line.

    Step 2

    Add the cat’s eyes and ears.
    Cat eyes are almond shaped. The ears look like triangles with curves.

    Step 3

    Draw the cat’s nose, mouth, and the inside of the cat’s eyes.
    Describe the iris inside a cat’s eye. Also depict other details with curves.

    Step 4

    Draw the whiskers and the inside of the cat’s ears.
    Add these details as shown in my example. Use light flow.

    Step 5

    Add the cat’s front paws.
    Sketch it at the bottom of the cat’s body, using curves.

    Step 6

    Add the cat’s hind legs.
    Draw them at the bottom of the cat’s body, a little further than the front paws.

    Step 7

    Describe the cat’s tail.
    The cat’s tail should be wavy. Don’t forget to smoothly round the tip of the tail.

    Step 8

    Delete extra lines.
    Use the eraser tool to erase unnecessary lines.

    Step 1

    Start by creating two shapes, one for the head and one for the body. Then you’ll add face guides.

    Step 2

    Using the first circle, you can begin to outline the shape of the head, as well as the long hair for the cheeks. Draw wide triangular ears, as well as a bun on top of this kitten’s head.
