The only problem I have is that people think it’s funny to go against cats (or any animal for that matter). It’s annoying to stand there and film a kitten with its claws stuck. It’s not funny or cute, help it, don’t film it. Most of this makes me chuckle.
The hiker who encountered the cougar was very lucky. Those cats may not be as big as some other feral cats, but they can still be very dangerous. But, he did the right thing. He screams and makes noises, while backing away and keeping an eye on the animal.
