It’s a sumptuous track, an inspiring exploration of the disco-era soul, and also a fully-grown fantasy. While waiting for fulfillment, she searches for her own longing. In the verses, she concludes her long, lavish phrases with a sly, sly push, then heightens a sense of expectation with her sumptuous delivery of sentences.
