Step 1
Face shape Draw a circle and make a small horizontal line at the bottom for the chin. Its position should be roughly half the diameter of the circle vertically. This is important because the circle was drawn freehand, so the horizontal diameter might be different. Women tend to have shorter chins than their male counterparts, so a long chin can display a more masculine look. When you’re done, draw the line from the jawline to connect the circle to the chin. Women have all kinds of face shapes, but for this example, I’m going to stick with a smooth, tapered jawline that’s less angular. Finally, use a ruler to draw a thin line vertically down the middle of the face.
Step 2
Draw guidelines for the face Measure the length of the face and draw a ruler along the side of your drawing using a straight ruler. Then, divide it into 8 equal spaces lengthwise. Label each of the ticks like the image on the left and once you are done, use a ruler to carefully draw faint lines on the face across the labeled ticks: CENTER LINE, 2, 3, A and C. If you are Been through this tutorial several times already and want to try it without the ruler, draw your lines in this order: CENTER LINE, 2, 3 , B, A, C, essentially breaking sections of your drawing in half again and even. Step 3
Draw the eyes On the CENTER LINE, draw 4 graduations that separate the face into 5 equal spaces horizontally. If you’re like me and have drawn a very narrow cheek/jaw line, you’ll want to consider the overall diameter of the circle (the two dotted lines mark the overall diameter of the head). When drawing the eyes, keep in mind that women generally have larger, more open eyes than men. Step 4
Nose To draw the nose, extend the two lines at the inner corner of each eye to line 3. This will serve as a guideline for the width of the nose. If you’ve already read my nose drawing tutorial, place your circle above line 2. I’m going for a short, narrow nose with a narrow bridge.
Step 5
Eyebrows The image on the left shows the top of the brow bone. I added this so you can see how the eyebrows are naturally positioned in relation to the bone structure. In the image on the right, you can see that the eyebrows are drawn below the C-line. For a surprise expression, the eyebrows will be drawn closer to the C-line. Step 6
Lips From the center of each iris, draw a vertical line up to line 3. This will give us a boundary for the mouth. If you have already practiced my tutorial on drawing lips, place your triangle under the nose. The base of the triangle should be drawn inside the square. The top of the triangle should extend where the bottom of the nose is. After drawing the lips, you might feel the need to lengthen or shorten the chin to make it more proportional to the rest of the face. This is perfectly normal. It happens to me all the time. That’s why it’s important to draw using clear lines so you can easily fix things.
Step 7
Ears The CENTER LINE and Line 2 are general boundaries for the ears. You can learn how to draw realistic ears here.
Step 8
Hair When drawing hair on women, keep in mind that women generally have narrower and shorter foreheads than men. I drew my character’s hairline well below the A-line and drew more hair to the sides of the temple, being careful not to bring the hair too close to the eyebrow.
Remember to give volume to the hair by leaving plenty of space between the head and the hair. For more detailed instructions on how to draw hair, visit this tutorial this tutorial.
I like to do one last check before erasing all my directives. Check if the facial features need to be changed. Maybe you would like to change the length of the nose or the shape of the eyes. Once you are happy with your results, use a hard eraser to clean up any lines.

Step 1
Draw an oval Draw an oval and a line at the bottom. The line should be away from the oval by a little more than half the vertical diameter of the oval. That is, a little more than the vertical radius of the oval.
Step 2
Face Contour Connect the oval to the horizontal line to complete the shape of the head. Next, draw a long straight line down the middle of the oval. Don’t worry about shaping the jawline or chin just yet. These are only rough guidelines!
Step 3
Make a ruler Use the length of the head to make a ruler on the side of your drawing. Don’t draw it too close to the face as you want to make room for the nose. Divide your ruler into 8 equal spaces and use a straight ruler to draw lines from each tick across the head. Remember to keep your lines light. It will be a pain to erase later.
Step 4
Eyebrow, Forehead and Top of Head Now that we’re done with the guidelines, let’s start drawing the top of the head. Where the CENTER LINE meets the face, draw a shallow curve. I try to avoid a deep curve because I don’t want to draw too much attention to the brow area. I just try to keep it soft and subtle. Once done, draw a slight bump for the forehead, then use the oval as a rough guide to draw the forehead and the rest of the upper head.
Step 5
Nose If you haven’t read my nose tutorial, go here first. I prefer to draw the nose without the circles, but you can use this technique if you wish. I like to draw my nose at medium length, keeping the tip of the nose below line 1. The angle of the nose depends on the face I’m drawing, but I tend to draw them at a 50 degree angle.
Step 6
Mouth From the base of the nose, form a natural curve that descends through line 2 and wraps towards the face, creating a full upper lip. The corner of the mouth should not extend too far past the nostril. Next, draw the lower lip which should be above line 3. When you are done, check if there is enough space for the chin or if there is way too much space. Adjust the lips accordingly to prepare for the next step.
Step 7
Chin and jawline Keep in mind that your chin and jawline do not have to follow the head/face shape guideline exactly. Extend the jawline beyond the vertical line that runs down the center of the face. When I draw women, I tend to make the jawline look soft or rounded, less angled.
Step 8
Neck Draw the front and back of the neck. Avoid drawing the neck using vertical lines. Also try to avoid using straight lines, as this will look very unnatural.
Step 9
Eyes and eyebrows To find where to place the eye, draw a vertical line from the corner of the lip to the CENTER LINE. The eye should be drawn where these two lines meet. If you want more details on how to draw a side eye, visit this tutorial. Follow the general shape of the eye to form the eyebrow. Keep the eyebrow well below the C line for a casual look. For a more surprised expression, draw the eyebrows a little higher and stretch the eye with them.
Step 10
Ear From the jawline, trace the outline of the ear. This outline can be anywhere from about the CENTER LINE to line 2. Learn how to draw ears.
Step 11
Hair Draw the hairline from the forehead starting between lines A and B. When drawing the hair at the sideburns (hair between the ear and the cheek) keep your lines very clear as females have very sparse sideburns . Don’t forget to volumize the hair, to learn more visit my hair tutorial.
Satisfied with the appearance of your drawing? Take out your eraser and have fun erasing your marks! To save time, I like to use an electric eraser followed by a kneaded eraser to get into those tight spots or overlapping lines.
Experiment by Drawing Many Unique Faces
When you’re comfortable, try drawing faces without the ruler on the side. The examples below have very rough guidelines. In fact, if you look closely, you can see how sloppy they are. Once you get the hang of it, you should be able to draw realistic and unique female faces at will! My challenge for you is to fill an entire page of your sketchbook with rows and rows of faces. Make them small so you can fit as many as you can (in fact, I find it harder to draw large scale faces). It may take 5 or more tries to figure it out. If you’ve filled out the whole page but your faces aren’t quite right, come back and follow this tutorial again.

Step 1
Determine the size of the eyes Determine the size you want for an eye and use 2 ticks to mark the limits of this eye. Use a ruler to draw a horizontal line through the ticks and down the right side of the page. Then measure the first space and multiply it by 3. You should now end up with 3 equal spaces running horizontally across your sketchbook.
Step 2
Draw circles Draw a circle for each eye. Make sure each circle fits within the boundaries.
Step 3
Determine the angle of each eye Determine the slant angle of the eyes and draw a line through each circle, making sure the angles are similar. Watch the video to learn how.
Step 4
Draw the shapes of the eyes Draw the inner and outer corners of each eye at the intersection of the oblique line and the circle. The inner corner of each eye should be deeper and darker than the outer corner or tail of the eye. When drawing the tail crease, let your lines become lighter instead of having a hard edge. Finally, draw a set of curves to form the eyelids.
Step 5
Draw the shape of each eyebrow Use my eye shadow technique to draw a set of eyebrows. I like to draw the eyebrows just above the circles and slightly wider than each eye. In the video I show you a technique for matching the eyebrows as well as where to draw the arch. We will detail the eyebrows later. Let’s take the next step!
Step 6
Shading Before shading, make sure the guidelines you drew in steps 1-3 are only slightly visible. You can use your kneaded eraser to roll a layer of graphite over these areas. Let’s start by shading the upper eyelids. Use the side of your pencil to shade an almond-like shape. The circle around each eye can help you see if your shading on the right eye is similar to the left eye. If you want to draw details like dark circles under the eyes, you can use the circles as a guide. Watch the video for an example. Add some light shading for the bridge of the nose. When you’re done, erase what’s left of each circle.
Step 7
Shade the rest of the face Shade the rest of the face. You can use these two tutorials to learn more about shading: How to Shade and Pencil Shading Techniques How to Shade a Face: The Ultimate Tutorial.
Step 8
Draw the eyebrows Here I switched to my 4B 0.5mm lead. Starting at the bottom of each eyebrow, draw upward strokes. Be sure to lift your pencil at the end of each stroke to make the hairs look more realistic. For a super detailed tutorial on this, check out this tutorial. At the top of each eyebrow, draw downward strokes. Add a few hairs down the middle if they still look bare. This step is very subtle, but also very important. Use an HB pencil to shade directly under each brow. Make sure the transition is gradual. Now brows look like they belong, instead of just glued to the skin.
Step 9
Adding Lines to Eyelids This step is optional… but it’s super fun, so why not do it too? This one is more of a crease than a wrinkle. When the eyes open, a crease forms on the eyelid. Use an H pencil and the lightest pressure to draw two creases. The darker you draw them, the deeper they will appear. Draw a row of curved diagonal lines along the edge of each eyelid. This area of the skin is very thin and wrinkles when the skin is pulled. You will also want to use an H pencil for this. Depending on where the light is coming from in your drawing, blend the opposite side of each drawn diagonal line. For example: in this design, the light comes from the top, so the side of each wrinkle that faces the light will be left alone, while the side opposite the light will need to be blended. Unless you’re drawing this on a large scale, avoid using a blending stump as the tip won’t be fine enough for this job. Instead, use an H and HB pencil to create a nice gradient along each wrinkle. Using a kneaded eraser, go over the areas of each wrinkle that face the light and gently dab with the pinched end of your kneaded eraser to lift a thin line of graphite. Highlights should appear brighter and wrinkles should become more apparent and shapely.
Step 10
Draw the eyelashes To begin, draw 3 eyelashes for each eye. One on the far left, far right, and another in the middle. The eyelashes should unfurl away from each other. If you want to be really careful, lightly line the lashes with an H or HB pencil to start. Once you are okay with the placement, curvature and length etc, go over it with a darker pencil like a 4B. Here I used a 0.5mm 4B lead. Take your time to fill in the spaces in between. It is normal for some eyelashes to touch each other. It’s actually more natural when they form triangles or even intersect. Finally, use an HB or 2B pencil to smudge directly under the upper eyelid to create a light cast shadow from the lashes. How to draw a male face easily
Step 1
Draw a circle Draw a circle, then draw a line through the center vertically and horizontally. Try to keep your construction lines as light as possible. If you can’t draw a good circle, don’t worry! Trace a round object like a mug or a roll of tape.
Step 2
Draw a line for the chin To figure out where to draw the chin, use your ruler or a pencil and your finger to measure half the diameter of the circle (from the bottom of the circle to the horizontal line), then transfer your measurement to the bottom of the circle and draw a line for the chin.
Step 3
Draw the cheeks and jawline Draw the cheeks and jawline connecting the chin to the circle. Remember to keep your lines light. We’ll give more definition to the face later. The clearer your lines are, the easier it will be to erase and make changes. Important: Before proceeding to the next step, erase the horizontal line inside the circle.
Step 4
Draw facial construction lines Through the center of the head, draw a vertical and horizontal line. Divide the lower part of the face in half, then in half again. Do the same for the upper part of the face. These lines are for the eyes, nose, lips and hair.
Step 5
Draw the eyes and eyebrows On the line labeled eyes, divide the face into 5 equal sections. Be sure to consider the full width of the head. Note: Thanks to Pranab Mahajan for reminding me to add this little detail – If you have trouble dividing the face into 5 equal sections, measure the width of the head with a ruler and divide your number by 5. Example: If the widest part of the head measures 6 cm, divide it by 5 to get 1.2 cm. Next, divide the head into sections of 1.2 cm each. Draw your eyes in the appropriate spaces. Step 6
Draw the nose Before drawing the nose, we will need some boundary lines. Draw a line going down from the corner of each eye and stopping at the line marked “nose”. Let’s draw the nose within these limits. For a medium length nose, draw it above the nose line. Learn to draw a nose: blog version, video version.
Step 7
Draw the lips We will also need some dividing lines for the lips. Draw a line of demarcation down from the center of each eye and ending at the line labeled “lips”. Draw a triangle directly under (touching) the nose and ending on the “lip” line. Learn how to draw lips using my triangle method: blog version, video version.
Step 8
Draw the Hair Draw the hairline creating a very angular, well-defined shape. I like to draw the top hairline between these 2 lines. Once that’s done, draw the rest of the hair. To give her hair more volume, draw your outlines farther from the head, but make sure the distance is fairly consistent, otherwise the shape of the head may look unrealistic. Step 9: Draw the ears Approximately between the eyes and the nose, draw the ears.
Step 10
Complete her face Give the cheeks, jawline and chin a little more definition. I gave her a sharp jawline with a faded chin. To make someone look leaner, you can draw subtle lines to shape the cheeks. Finally, give it a thick neck and add the shoulders as well. I erased the construction lines to show you his unfettered face. You can save these construction lines to help you at the end of this tutorial when we swap facial features to transform our characters!
How to draw a female face easily

Draw the nose Again, draw a set of boundary lines coming down from the inner corner of each eye. Draw your nose a little higher than the “nose line” for a medium length nose. For a more feminine face, draw a narrow nose using soft lines that aren’t too sharp/angular. For the bridge of the nose, draw a smooth curve that isn’t too dark.
Step 7
Draw the mouth Create your boundary lines coming down from the center of each eye. Draw your triangle directly below the nose and resting on the line labeled “lips”. For a medium length mouth, draw it well inside the boundary lines. Rest the lower lip on the line labeled “lips”.
Step 8
Draw the ears Draw the ears roughly between the line of the eyes and the line of the nose.
Step 9
Draw hair Females tend to have softer, rounder hairlines than males. Draw a smooth line around the forehead without making many sharp angles. Also, be sure to keep your lines fairly light. Step 10
Complete her face Draw the cheeks, jawline and chin using smooth lines. A square chin can make your design look much more masculine (not that there’s anything wrong with that!). Finally, give her a narrow neck compared to hers. A thick neck can indicate a muscular individual.

How to Draw a Eyebrow Step by Step

Decide on Eyebrow Height
We must first figure out where to draw the eyebrow above our eye. I’ll place mine close to the eye but feel free to play around with the height to see what you prefer. With men, I like to pull the eyebrow closer to the eye.
Outline the Eyebrow
Once you’ve decided on the eyebrow height, let’s create a few rough guidelines to help us construct the eyebrow outline. These don’t need to be exact.
Navigate just outside the left eye, move your pen straight up and draw a very light line to mark the spot. This is roughly where your eyebrow begins. Navigate to the right corner of the eye, go straight up and add a slight tick. This will be the point where the eyebrow arches. Angle outward from the right corner of your eye to the end of your eyebrow.
You can create a number of shapes using the guidelines we just drew to help you out. I’m going with something fairly angular, not too curvy, to make the eye look more masculine
Instead of drawing a solid outline, use tiny pencil strokes that flow in the same direction our eyebrow hairs are pointing. This way they blend in and just disappear as we continue drawing. Use small, light strokes. Don’t worry too much about how they look, we mostly want to focus on the eyebrow shape we’re going to make. Adjust the shape as you like before moving on to the next step.
Understanding Eyebrow Hair Direction
To simplify the rest of the eyebrow drawing process, I’m dividing the eyebrow into two zones. Let’s call the bottom half zone 1 and the top half, zone 2.
In Zone 1, the hair mostly points up and towards the end of the eyebrow. At the beginning of the eyebrow, they can even point in the opposite direction. Zone 2 is simple, they mostly point down towards the end of the eyebrow. In the middle section (between the two zones) they point to the end of the eyebrow while following the same path as the boundary line.
You can draw a boundary line between zones 1 and 2 by starting with hair-like strokes from top left to bottom right. Because every eyebrow is different
Search google for some eyebrow images and you might find a distinct line running through the eyebrow and separating it into two zones, like example A which I find fairly common, like example B where zone 1 is the most prominent, or even one like Example C where Zone 2 is most prominent.
ZONE 1: Draw the Bottom Half of the Eyebrow
To keep the eyebrow looking as natural as possible, make sure not to draw the hairs in a perfectly straight path, but to stagger them to create a more random pattern.
Another thing to remember is to not draw them all straight and parallel to each other and instead change the angle or curve slightly. The example above is a bit exaggerated.
The last thing on your mind is to keep your pencil sharp at all times to make sure every hair is thin. Swipe your pen up at the end of each stroke to feather it.
Let’s start drawing the hair in Zone 1 and create a row at the very bottom. If you make a mistake, simply squeeze your kneaded eraser to a fine point and gently dab the mistake away.
Keep doing this until you reach the boundary line. As you get closer to the boundary line, you should start angling or curving your hair until it’s pointing in the same direction as the hair we drew along the Zone 1 and 2 boundary. Draw more or less hair depending on how full or sparse you want your eyebrow to appear. Fill in any areas that look too bare. Try to avoid drawing unruly hair for now, as we’ll mix up our drawing a bit later.
ZONE 2: Draw the Top Half of the Eyebrow
Now that you have some experience drawing the bottom hair, it will be easier to draw the top ones.
Again, instead of drawing them parallel to each other, you can cross some hair over each other to make it look natural.
So for Zone 2 we’ll draw the first row of hair very lightly with very thin strokes.
Along the borderline between our two eyebrow zones, I want the hairs to look like they’re affecting each other, like they’re interacting with each other. I can do this by tapering off some of the top and bottom hair like example G. You can also draw them like example H where they cross each other, but I think too much of this can create a very unnatural looking crisscross pattern as shown in example I. So it’s up to you and your creative choice and how you want to proceed.
Experiment with tapered or criss-crossed hair to see what you prefer. If your brow looks too patterned or stiff, make sure your strokes are slightly curved and relaxed instead of straight and stiff, and remember to flick your pencil up at the end of each stroke.
Blend Your Eyebrow
Next, I’m going to slightly blend the eyebrow to make it look fuller and give it some shadow. If you are unsure about this step, you can test it on a separate sheet of paper before applying it to your drawing and do it as lightly as possible. If you’re still not sure, you can instead just lightly shade your eyebrow, making sure the edges are the lightest and that the smoothness of your shading matches the rest of your drawing.
For blending, I simply use a normal, soft facial tissue that I wrap around my finger. Try to avoid the outer edges of your eyebrow and any stray hairs you’ve drawn. Very gently smudge your eyebrow, following the direction of the hairs, with a quick motion, lifting your finger at the end of each smudge. The lighter you press, the less you’ll smudge and vice versa, so do what feels comfortable to you. If you have to do it a few times to blend the entire eyebrow, use a clean area on the cloth each time.
Here’s a before and after so you can see how much I mixed up on mine. You absolutely don’t need to mix yours that much! It doesn’t look nice at the moment and it shouldn’t because we’ll be working more on the drawing. The spots act like drop shadows and make the eyebrow look bushier without having to draw an overwhelming amount of hair. For now, let’s take a break from the main part of our eyebrow and finally draw some stray hairs. The reason I’m drawing the stray hairs now is because I want these pencil strokes to appear as sharp/clean as possible.
Draw Stray Eyebrow Hair
You can skip this section if you want your eyebrow to look well-groomed and plucked.

I just widen the eyebrow in a very subtle way and draw very light hairs that are shorter than the others we’ve drawn so far. I like to draw them even lighter the further away they are from the main part of the eyebrow. Try to spread them out so they aren’t too close together. Make your pencil lines extra thin at the top of your eyebrow. Add more stray hair if you want your eyebrow drawing to look bushy. By now you can probably tell that I’ve extended my eyebrow beyond the original outline I created, and that’s totally fine. Because it was meant to be a rough outline – something to help us in the early stages of drawing. So don’t feel like you have to strictly stick to this original shape!
Darken and Sharpen Your Eyebrow Drawing
If you think your eyebrow lacks that 3D feeling, you can darken hairs that face away from the light.
My imaginary light source is coming from above, so the lightest hairs are the ones on top (zone 2) because those hairs face the light more directly, while the hairs on the bottom (zone 1) face away from the light, making them appear darker. So simply darkening the hair along the shadowed side of your eyebrow can make it look more 3D. Okay, earlier we smudged our eyebrow with a tissue to create shadows and make it look more filled in. This process has made them a little blurry. We want to give it some definition back. In other words, I’m redrawing some of the hair to make it appear clearer and sharper.
You don’t have to redraw every hair, just select a few and try not to favor one section of the eyebrow over another. I just redraw each other or something and allow the others to act as fillers. Try to keep your pen very sharp throughout the process. If you currently like your eyebrow hair color/shade, just focus on making the hair look sharper, but if you’re like me and want to darken your eyebrow more to bring out the drawing, you can go ahead and darken it at at the same time, press harder with your pen as you draw each stroke. As I do this I do some touch ups like lengthening out some hairs or even adding some new ones where there seems to be an odd gap. Just do what you think looks good for your specific drawing. Keep stepping back from your drawing as you do this to make sure you like how it’s progressing. If you need to remove some hairs, instead of rubbing out an entire area of your drawing, squeeze your kneaded eraser into a fine point and gently pat the hairs away.

How to draw a Realistic Eye Step by Step

Step 1
Sketch and highlight the shape of an eye Let’s start with an HB pen to sketch the shape of the eye. This outline shouldn’t be too dark as you don’t want it to show through at the end. We only need the basic forms outlined here. The square shape in the pupil is a glare from a window or similarly shaped light source. You can also use other shapes like circles or ovals.
step 2
Shade the pupil. Fill in the pupil with a 6B pen. Avoid pressing too hard, otherwise it will be difficult for you to erase if you need to make corrections later. You can go through the area again to get a darker shade. Make sure the highlights stay clean!
step 3
Shade the iris On a separate piece of paper, smear some graphite in a small area. Use the blender to rub the area until the graphite has transferred to the tip of the blender (learn how to use a blending blunt here). Now fill in the outer area of the pupil. This step does not have to be perfect. Sloppy smudging will make it look better and add more depth to the eye.
step 4
Draw spokes Using a 4B pencil, draw spokes going outward from the pupil. Overlap some of the spokes to create thicker lines. This will make the eye look more interesting. Blend the Iris Use the blending stump to fill in the white area in the iris. Work gently around the highlight. Don’t press too hard. You should still be able to see the lines coming out of the pupil when you’re done. If most of the lines are gone, you either used the blender with too much force or didn’t press hard enough when creating the spokes.
step 6
Add depth Use the 6B pen to create a shadow under the eyelid to give the eye more depth and roundness.
step 7
Shade the skin Shade the whites of the eyes as well as the skin around the eyes. Don’t leave the eyeball white or it will appear unrealistic and without depth. Use the kneaded eraser to bring out the highlights and dab the areas of the eye that need to be brightened. For example, the whites of the eyes, the lower lash line, the brow bone and the inner corner of the eye near the tear duct.
step 8
Draw eyebrows and eyelashes Fill in both the eyebrows and eyelashes. Eyelashes should be drawn with curved lines, NOT straight lines. Use a thin HB pencil to create the eyebrows. Choose something darker for the lashes, e.g. B. 6B. Go over the drawing and darken areas like the pupil, wrinkles, shadows and clean up the highlights to make your drawing POP!
step 9
Touch ups I added some eyelash reflections and subtle blood vessels and darkened the overall drawing. When drawing eyes, try to use as many shades as possible. Most people are afraid of going dark. Look at the picture in step 8 and compare it to the last step. Going dark makes a big difference! I used to stop at step 8 as well, worried I wouldn’t be able to delete if my hard work turned into a complete disaster. This fear made me dissatisfied with all my drawings because they lacked depth. Step 1. Sketch the petals
Lightly draw an oval for the upper part of the flower. Below it, outline a circle. For the second iris, draw another oval and circle to the right and slightly below the first set.
To make the petals, sketch a sausage-shaped loop on both sides of the oval. Draw half circles on both sides of the circle.
Step 2. Add leaves
Add spikes to the flowers by drawing two slightly curved lines from each flower. Draw three long, narrow leaves behind the flowers.
Make sure that the leaf lines do not enter the petals. Draw another bent leaf underneath the two flowers.
Step 3. Sketch the flowers
Line the flowers with ruffles with wavy lines along the edge of the petals. Draw a long, rough oval in the center of each flower. Add creases at the top of each stem by drawing two vertical lines to make the top of the trunk wider.
Then draw a diagonal line through the trunk. Draw a second diagonal line from the top of the trunk to the center of the first line.
Step 4. Finish Petals
Draw several short lines around the centers of the flowers to make them appear more translucent. On the lower petals of each flower, sketch in a wavy line as shown. Draw many small circles on both sides of the line.
Draw a series of parallel lines in the top area of each stem above the fold you drew in step 3. On the bottom leaf, draw the leaf fold with a long line through the center, following the curve. of the leaf.
Step 5. Details and Shadows
Add short, curved lines to the petals to create shadows. Change the length of the lines. Use short lines to add shadows on one side of each center.
For the trunk, draw some long lines at the bottom and a few short lines at the top. Draw a series of long, vertical lines on each leaf, following the curve of the leaf.

And finally, draw shards of blood, scattered shards or whatever you have to add complexity to your rose tattoo design ideas. You can add some blood dripping from the petals if you want.

Step 1.
Start by drawing a small circle. This will form the dragonfly’s head. Below the circle, draw a small oval. This forms the thorax, or midsection, of the insect.
Step 2
Below the oval, draw a larger, elongated oval with a slightly pointed tip. This forms the belly or tail of the dragonfly.
Step 3
Draw wings. Extend a long and curved line from the top of the chest. Curve this line back until it meets the base of the thorax, completely enclosing the wing.
Step 4
Repeat this process on the opposite side to form the second wing. Again, using a long, curved line, join at both ends to the chest.
Step 5
Draw the lower wing. Again, you’ll extend a long, curved line from the chest, allowing it to fold in half to envelop the shape.
Step 6
Draw the last part of the dragonfly’s four wings. Extend a long, curved line from the chest and let it double in half to envelop the shape.
Step 7
Draw dragonfly eyes. To do so, draw two half circles in front of the head, using a short, curved line for each circle. Then draw the dragonfly’s front legs. For each front leg, extend a curved line from the junction of the head and chest. Notice the bend in the middle, forming a joint in the leg. Then, stretch a second curve roughly parallel to the first, allowing the lines to meet at the endpoints. Repeat on the double side.
Step 8
Add details to your dragonfly. Draw the veins on the wings using curved lines. For the upper wings, draw a long and curved line down the length of the wing. Then extend a few shorter curved lines from this line to the edge of the wing. For the lower wings, draw two curved lines down the length of each wing. Finally, texture the ribcage using short and curved lines.
Step 9
Indicates the division of the abdominal vertebrae by short, curved lines.
Step 10

Step 1
Do you know what a kid and a kitty cat have in common? Both have distinctive body proportions. The head of a baby is disproportionately large, like the head of a kitten. In addition to the head, we see two other circles that form the contours of the body, let’s draw this.
Step 2
So we continue the tutorial on how to draw a kitty cat. Adult cats have long graceful legs. This is not surprising, as cats are very agile and flexible guys. Step 1.
Start by drawing a long and slightly curved diagonal line. This line will form the shaft, or central “body” of the feather.
Step 2
Draw a second, slightly curved line along the first. Allow two lines to meet at a point at the top.

Enclose the lower part of the shaft, the area known as the brush, using a series of short and curved lines.
Step 4
Extend a short, straight line from the tips of the feathers. From this top point, draw two curved lines slanting towards the feathers.
Step 5
Feather wrap. From the lines drawn in the previous step, extend long and curved lines parallel to the axis of the feather. Connect these lines to the brush, the base of the feather, using short, curved lines.
Step 6
Add details to your feathers. Extend pairs of curves from the outline of the bristles towards the shaft. Before getting to the axis, let the lines meet at sharp points, enclosing the narrow triangles.
Step 7
Remove the guide lines from the feathers. The triangles drawn in the previous step now appear as indentations between the wings, or branches, of the feathers.
Step 8
Draw short, curved lines near the base of the feather and from the center of some indentations. The wings of a feather usually stick together due to friction between the spiny branches and the spiny branches – the smaller branches – but these lines indicate the fibers are not sticking together.
Step 9
Add more propeller details to your feather by drawing curved, wavy lines between the shaft and the edges of the feather.

Draw the chest and belly of the butterfly’s head. This trick will center the butterfly to the center of your paper. The body is made up of the head (circle), the middle thorax (the oval shape), and the belly (the elongated oval shape), 2 eyes (semicircles on either side of the head), and 2 antennae.
Fun fact: some butterflies are straight and some are curved, depending on the butterfly species.
Step 2
Draw 2 curved lines from the top of a body part (on the sides). Try to make these lines of equal length and curvature.
Step 3
Draw 2 lines from the center of the body (on either side). Make the line segments equal in length.
Step 4
Draw 2 curved lines from the bottom part of the body (on the sides). Create lines of the same length and arc.
Step 5
Draw a squiggly line to connect the wing tip to the midline (horizontal). Do this for both sides of the wings
Step 6
Draw 2 diagonal lines from the end of the midline. Make sure they are the same length.
Step 7
Draw 2 semicircles connecting the diagonals from the last step and the bottom arches. Your butterfly’s overall shape is now complete. Take a step back and make sure both sides look roughly equal. Take this opportunity to repair any areas that are sticking out.
TIP: It also helps to flip your photo upside down and see. The side flip gives your eyes a fresh perspective and you can easily see if your butterfly is proportionate or not.
Step 8
Draw 4 teardrop shapes inside each wing.
Fun fact: The markings and colors on butterfly wings are different for each species. Colors and patterns help the butterfly camouflage, protect, attract mates, and more. If you want some inspiration for your butterfly art, check out this website that features images of over 50 species.
Step 9
Draw 7 lines in each wing quadrant (from teardrop to outer edge).
Step 10
Draw a bubble-like border around the outer edge of the wings
Step 11
Use a pencil to fill in the border between the bubble outline and the outer wing.

Add some semicircles and “D” shapes for the top 3 parts of the wings. We will fill around them in the next step
Step 13
Fill in around the patterns you drew in the previous step (using a pencil). Also draw small circles along the top edges of the wings
Step 14
Thicken all lines between sections on both wings

Fill in the text and you’re done!

Find a reference bunny.
Quality reference is the best way to draw something you’ve never painted before. The reference image gives you a well-defined set of parameters that will define the boundaries of your drawing. Sketch your bunny step by step.
Fresco makes sketching easy with a powerful set of drawing tools, but you might be working on paper with plans to enter the digital space later. Either way, start with the basic shapes of the rabbit and work from there.
Layout of basic proportions.
Especially if you’re looking for a more realistic bunny instead of an animated bunny: “The easiest way to approach it is to divide the animal into simple shapes. To start, draw two small circles that are slightly wider than their height. The first will be your bunny’s head; the second would be the body. Both shapes should be relatively close to each other.

Give your rabbit a pose and perspective.
Once you’ve drawn the basic proportions, you can start creating poses, perspectives, and poses for your rabbit.
