Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1:

Let’s start drawing your crocus. The crocus petals are oval with a broad base. Crocus flowers are dwarf flowers. Draw several halves of ovals or teardrops in the center of the paper. There are almost 5 to 7 petals on a flower. Crocus flowers have five petals or foliage. Each petal is teardrop-shaped or oval. The following is a reference image, it will help you sketch the crocus flower.

Step 2:

In the second step, we will outline the trunk of the tree. The trunk is an important structure. The stem provides all the minerals needed for the plant to survive. Crocus plants can survive a wide range of temperatures. It can even survive in areas of heavy snow. Stems of crocus flowers are straight. So draw the crocus flower stalk for a complete look.

Step 3:

The crocus flower consists of large sword-like leaves from the base of the flower stem. The leaves are green and contain a midline vein inside. The medial veins in the leaf help maintain health as it delivers food to different parts of the leaf. The leaves are large and sword-like.

Step 4:

In this step we will draw a few more leaves on the left side of the crocus flowers. The leaves give the crocus plant a pretty look. Leaves are green. Crocus flowers are found in colors like dark purple, lilac, yellow or white, etc.

Step 5:

It’s time to color our crocus drawing. Give your drawing a natural look by painting the flowers dark purple, yellow or white and green for the leaves. I hope that children will find this drawing and engaging.
