Step 1
First, let’s create a dock platform in front by creating a rectangular box.
Step 2
Add the planks on the pedestal by drawing lines as shown.
Step 3
Draw the piers by creating cylinders on both sides of the pier. Create vertical lines on the pillars to add some texture. Then create curved lines at the bottom of the pier posts to draw ripples in the water.
Step 4
First add rocks by drawing ovals. Next, draw the grass by creating pointed shapes as shown.
Step 5
Add cattails that grow near the edge of the tank by first shaping the flower heads with thin elongated shapes. Then, draw two lines at the bottom of each flower head to form the stalk.
Step 6
Let’s add a boat on the lake by creating an outline of the shape of the boat. Next, draw horizontal lines on the hull. Then add curved lines around the boat to draw ripples in the water.
Step 7
Draw the terrain on the background by creating two long blobs. Then draw lines in the water following the shape of the terrain.
Step 8
Add trees behind distant terrain by creating sharp zigzags as shown.
Step 9
Complete the drawing of the lake by painting the pier and the first boat with a light brown and orange pen. Next, color the lake with a blue pencil. Then, fill in the sky with a light blue pencil. Then fill in the grass with a green pencil. Let’s color the lands and trees in the background with cyan to add some atmospheric perspective to our drawing. Now, color the stones with a gray pencil. Finally, fill in the flower tips with an orange pen and the stem with a green pen.
