You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Start by drawing an upside down letter “L.” This begins the upper arm of the cross.
Step 2
Draw an “L” shaped line next to the first line. This move completes the front part of the upper arm and begins the upper part of the right arm.
Step 3
Draw a backward “L” shaped line that joins the previous lines. This completes the outline of the right arm of the cross.
Step 4
Draw another inverted “L” shaped line, starting to outline the lower part of the cross.
Step 5
Draw an upside down “L” shaped line, completing the outline of the lower arm and starting the left arm.
Step 6
Draw one final line, an “L” to the side, completing the front outline of the cross.
Step 7
Now, it’s time to create a three-dimensional cross. Draw an upside down “L” shaped line connecting the tip of the cross to the tip of its left arm. This gives the upper arm a three-dimensional appearance.
Step 8
Use three lines to enclose a trapezoid at the top of the left arm, giving it a three-dimensional shape.
Step 9
Draw an “L” shaped line connecting the bottom of the left arm to the bottom of the cross, giving the bottom a three-dimensional shape.
Step 10
Color your 3-D cross. Notice in our example how the three-dimensional edges are darker than the front of the cross. This shading creates a 3-D effect.
