Step 1
Start with the ears
Start with two slightly curved lines for each, they look like the two sides of a triangle. These are the ears of the bat. Leave some space in between them for the top of the head.

Step 3

Connecting bat ears
Next draw the outside of the bat’s face by extending the ears downwards.
Step 4
Draw bat wings
Now draw the upper part of the bat’s wing. This is done simply with two curves on each side.
Starting at the bottom point of the face, the curve first moves outward and ends above the head of the bat. Start the second curve where the first one ends, it moves down and away from the top.
Step 5
How to draw bat wings
The underside of the wing is a series of three domed curves that start at the end of the second curve we drew above and end at a point below the head.
Step 6
Two eyes
Give your bat two eyes, they can be any shape you want, circle, triangle or see-through slots!

And here is our finished bat. Color it if you like, body black with contrasting yellow or red eyes will look good and suitably creepy.
Step 7
Color your bat
Color your bat with whatever tools you have – traditional pencil and paint, digital coloring, or a combination of both. Try different colors and textures, you don’t have to stick to a standard look.
