You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
Start by drawing two long curved lines to form the horizon.
Step 2
Draw two curved lines in a vertical position. These will form the stem. Use several shorter curved lines to form the tree’s roots, enclosing it at the bottom.
Step 3
Draw a pair of long “U” shaped lines next to each other at the top of the tree. They form tree branches. Then, use short, connected curved lines to draw the cloud-like clusters of leaves. Pay attention to the irregular shapes as well as the way the lines overlap to give the tree depth.
Step 4
Draw some leaves falling from the tree. For each leaf, draw a curved line to form the stem and central vein. Then, use two curved lines that meet at a point to outline the leaf.
Step 5
Ground texture. Draw curves of different sizes. Near the tree, draw a tuft of grass using short, curved lines that meet in jagged points. Then, draw leaves on the ground. For each leaf, draw two curved lines that meet at points.
Step 6
Many trees bear fruit in the fall. Draw round fruit, hanging on the tree and on the ground at the base. Have you noticed that a piece of fruit is falling from the tree? Note the vertical lines that indicate its movement.
Step 7
Draw more round fruits lying on the ground. You can structure it with short lines.
Step 8
Fill in the background of your scene. Use a series of short curved lines to enclose the cloud-like bushes growing in the distance.
Step 9
Texture the ground with additional curved lines and add pointed fallen leaves. Draw more leaves floating in the air; For each one, start with a straight line to form the stem, then draw the pointed leaf around it. Finally, draw wavy lines to represent the movement of the blowing wind.
Step 10
Color your scene. Is your tree still green in summer or is it ablaze with the reds, yellows, and oranges of fall?
