You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

Despite the fact that this is a mythical horse, in general it is drawn as an ordinary horse. Let’s start with the skeleton of our pegasus. First, outline the head as a circle. Then outline the muzzle and neckline. Next draw the contours of the chest and pelvis. At the end of the step we outline the pins.

Step 2

Now we need to add some volume to the body of the pegasus. First draw the ears and eyeliner on the head. Draw more of the neck extending to the chest. Next, connect the chest and pelvis, forming the torso. Outline the pins, try to repeat all the curves like in our example. At the end of the step, outline the wings and tail.

Step 3

Now let’s work with the final details. Use clear and dark lines to draw the contours of the head. Next carefully draw the eyes, nose and mouth. Don’t forget to remove the instructions from our pegasus head. Also, don’t forget to add a few folds on top to make it more realistic.

Step 4

Continue the lesson on how to draw pegasus. In this step we finish drawing the head. Draw the ears and with the help of wavy lines draw the mane. We drew a rather short mane, but for a more dramatic look you can draw a long or flaming mane.

Step 5

Now let’s draw the wings. Draw some rows of feathers. Note that the feathers near the edge of the wing will be larger than the rest. In the same step, use clear and bold lines to draw the front legs and remove all unnecessary lines from the legs and wings.

Step 6

Now we need to do the same, but for the rear body of the horse, i.e. using clear and dark lines, we will need to draw the hind legs and tail. To make the tail more realistic, use long and slightly curved lines. Don’t forget to remove all unnecessary guides from our pegasus drawing, so that the finished drawing is clean and beautiful.

Step 7

To make our Pegasus look more realistic, we need to add some shadows. We drew shadows, similar to those in the comics. That is, it is the dark and contrasting areas of the shadows. But you can create more shadows, like in the lesson about the ferocious wolf.
