Step 1:

Start your cherry blossom drawings with crayons. Let’s first sketch a twig or a trunk. The trunk is one of its most important structures. Plants get nutrients from their stems. On your paper, draw a long curved line. Draw a second curved line along it. Draw a cherry blossom at the tip of the curved stem.

Cherry blossoms have five petals or foliage. Each petal is square and slightly recessed in the middle. Alternatively, sketch a small bud of the cherry blossom near the flower. This bud will give rise to a new flower. The reference image will help you sketch the cherry blossom.

Step 2:

Add another flower in step 2. The cherry blossom branch has many flowers. Follow the previous procedure to draw cherry blossoms on the stem.

Step 3:

Now sketch two more cherry blossoms. The plant looks incomplete and barren without flowers. The pretty pink flowers add to the beauty of the branches. Repeat the previous process to outline the cherry blossoms.

Step 4:

Finally, outline the curved and twisted branches of the tree. Now draw pollen grains on the flowers with their stalks and stigmas. So kids, our cherry blossom drawing is done. Following the reference image will help you to draw a cherry blossom.
