How to make Cute Cartoon Mouse

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1.

Start sketching cute cartoon mouse by drawing two curved lines. They will become the head of the mouse.

Step 2.

Draw a few curved lines between the previous lines, closing the distance between them. This is a tuft of hair on the top of the rat’s head.

Step 3.

Draw connected curves at the bottom of both lines. This is the fur on the mouse’s cheek.

Step 4.

Draw a curved line to connect the fur cheeks, fully enclosing the shape of the head. Then draw a series of curved lines to start outlining the mouse’s furry body.

Step 5.

Draw curved lines opposite the ones drawn in the last step, creating a mirror image. Then enclose a circle below these lines using a long curved line.

Step 6.

Next, draw in detail the cute face of the mouse. Draw a circle in the center of the face to form the nose. Draw two curved lines extending from each side of the nose to form the sides of the muzzle and cheeks.

Draw a curved line on each cheek to outline the eyes. In each eye, draw a circle within a circle. Shade between them to indicate the pupil. Then, draw a curved line above each eye to form the eyebrows.

Below the nose, draw a wide curved line to form a smiling mouth. Place a short line in each corner and enclose a rectangle below it. These are the teeth. Draw a short line between them.

Step 7.

Next, draw the large ears of the mouse. Use a long, curved line to enclose a circular section on each side of the head. Note the series of curved lines at the top of each ear representing feathers. Detail the inside of the ear by drawing some curves.

Step 8.

Draw the mouse’s hands and feet. For the arms, stretch a few curves and use “U” shaped lines for the fingers. For the legs, extend two curved lines. Fold one back in half to meet each other, forming the foot. Detail the toe with a curved line.

Step 9.

Finish your cute cartoon mouse sketch by drawing its tail. Stretch two curves and allow them to meet at one point.

Step 10.

Color your simple cartoon mouse. We’ve shaded our shade with the classic colors gray and pink. In the wild, rats are usually gray or brown. White mice are kept by humans as pets or for scientific research. Some mice even have stripes!
