How To Draw Hello kitty Easy Step By Step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

One of the iconic aspects of Hello Kitty’s design is the little bow on top. No tutorial on how to draw Hello Kitty would be complete without this bow, so we will draw it in this step.

For the center of the bow, you can draw a small circle. This doesn’t have to be a perfect circle, so drawing it free will work just fine!

For each wing of the bow, you can draw a curved line coming out from the sides. You can then draw some more lines inside these wings to represent the folds of the bow.

Step 2

Sketch the head for Hello Kitty
While the bow is a key element of Hello Kitty’s design, it’s not the only iconic aspect of the character!

She is also famous for her big round head, and that is what we will draw in this step.

Make sure to keep the bow that you drew in the first step on the top right side of the head as you draw.

Most of her head is drawn as a large, smooth oval. Then the ears will be located at the top of the head and will be quite far apart.

They will be drawn as a number of slightly rounded triangles. The person on the right will also be behind the bow from the first step.

Step 3

Now, draw the body for Hello Kitty
We’ll finish the first part later, but for now we’ll draw the body in this step of the Hello Kitty drawing tutorial.

Her body is slightly smaller than her head and is also made up of some pretty basic shapes. Using some curvy lines extending down from the top, you can draw her small and round body.

Then her arm is also drawn with simple curves, and the right arm is raised in a wave pattern.

Step 4

Add beard to this step
The fourth part of your Hello Kitty drawing will be a pretty simple one! All you will do in this step is add some beard to her face.

They are drawn very simply, and you can complete this step by adding three simple lines to each cheek on her face.

It’s as simple as that and you’re ready to add some final details in the next step!

Step 5

Now you can add the final details of your Hello Kitty drawing
You’ll soon be able to color your picture, but for now, we still have some final details to add in this step of the Hello Kitty tutorial.

First, we’ll need to finalize her face. However, this is a very simple task! Her eyes are drawn with two small, solid black ovals. They will be quite far apart and close to the sides of her head.

Her nose is equally simple, and you can draw it with a simple oval between her eyes. That takes care of her face, so now you can paint her legs.

This will also be very easy! All you have to do is draw a line on her body near its origin.

Then draw a vertical line down the center to create her legs. That will take care of the final details in this tutorial, but you can always add your own!

You can draw a fun background to complete this Hello Kitty drawing for an idea. You can also draw some interesting accessories and additional details for her.
