You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below
Step 1
First, draw the head with the bird’s head and neck, the head and grass with feathers on top.
Step 2
Draw the eyes and face, with a large circle for the eyes, the eyes are like lizard eyes.
Step 3
Draw the body, using lines from the bottom of the neck to show the slope to the underside of Deinonychus, while the top of the neck, shoulders, and back are flatter. Leave space for the front and rear legs. The front legs are short feather-like feathers.
Step 4
Draws forelimbs, long and adapted for grip. Deinonychus had a very sharp claw at the end of his narrow, muscular arms. Draw them into an L-shaped corner, ready to capture its prey.
Step 5
Draw the hind legs, very long and narrow. The feet are large and flat with four sharp toes, and one claw on each foot. This set of claws is common in dinosaur groups including Deinonychus and Utahraptor. Draw a bent and raised leg as if it were running.
Step 6
Draw the tail, which is longer than the body and will be glued straight and backwards when moving for balance. The tail resembles a feather.
Step 7
Complete the dinosaurs by coloring your imagination.
