You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Draw three shapes to define the form of the body
We’ll start by drawing three shapes for the core of the dragon’s body. The first shape is a diagonal oval. From the oval, we will draw two additional shapes for the first part of the neck.

    Step 2

Draw a shape for the head and a line for the wings
In this step, we will extend the shape of the dragon’s main body by adding a line similar to “half oval” for the lower body. We’ll also add some shapes for the arms and ovals for the head. Some lines are also drawn for the mouth and muzzle as well as the tips of the wings.

    Step 3

Draw claws and other lines on the wings
Next, we’ll draw a few shapes for the dragon’s claws and one for the hind legs. Lines are also added for the “ribs” of the wings. We’ll also draw a few triangles for the ears. The bottom of the jaw is defined by a line, and a line is added for the tongue. We can also draw a shape visible to the eye.

    Step 4

Finish the bottom of the wings, hind legs and additional wings
Lines are added to the bottom of the wings to complete the shape. A line is also drawn down the neck and through the body. The rest of the mouth is defined by an additional line and a second wing is drawn. To make the dragon appear on the ground, will add a cliff. The hind legs are also finished with a few other shapes.

    Step 5

    End of Dragon
We now have enough information to complete the drawing. All that’s left to do is add the details. We’ll add some texture to the skin to make it look “scaly”. A few lines are added to create a bit of a shadow.

The inside of the mouth is darkened and lines are added to the cliff to make it appear rocky. Don’t forget the tail! It is also added in this step. Remember, at each step of the drawing, you can customize your dragon any way you like.

How to draw Yoshi with this how-to video and step-by-step drawing instructions. Easy animals to draw for beginners and kids.

How to draw Yoshi Step by Step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

For this beginning Yoshi drawing tutorial, we will focus on his big round snout. To do this, you will start by drawing a smaller curve for the upper part of the face.
Then you would use a much larger circle for the front of its muzzle. Remember to add a small line at the end of the snout line to create a smiling mouth.

That may sound confusing, but you’ll see what we mean when you look at the reference image. Once you’ve drawn this part of the face, you’re ready for step 2!

    Step 2

Draw the rest of Yoshi’s head
We will add the rest of Yoshi’s face in your Yoshi drawing step. You can use two upward curves from his muzzle for the top of his head as shown in the reference image.
The top of this head will then extend down to form the left part of the head. Finally, you can end up with a small curve for his chin.

    Step 3

Now, draw the body for Yoshi
This step in our tutorial on how to draw Yoshi looks a bit complicated, but it doesn’t have to be if you take it slowly and follow the reference guide closely.
His body is very round and it is thin at the top, where his neck joins his head. You can then use some curves for the shell on his back, then draw his arms and hands on the side of his body.

He will also have a pointed tail, and then you can finally draw his legs and big shoes.

It seems like a lot, but if you focus on each element one at a time and keep a close eye on the reference image you will do it!

    Step 4

Add some details for Yoshi in this step
In this part of Yoshi’s drawing, you will draw some simple details all over his body. These will include some circles for his eyes.
His eyes were joined with no gap, almost as if they were one large eye. You can then draw three round scales on the back of his head.

Finally for this step, you just need to draw a line above the sole to make the sole.

    Step 5

Now you can add some details and final touch
This step of our Yoshi drawing tutorial will help you add final elements to the drawing while also adding some final details.

First, you can draw the other arm out of his belly. Then complete his eyes by drawing two ovals in his eye contour.

You can then finalize the details with a few lines around his body. The two lines on his snout will make his nostrils complete his face.

That will do for the details we want to add, but feel free to add any details of your own that you might want to your image!

Maybe you could add some details to Yoshi to make him look like he did in your favorite game he’s in.

Or maybe you could draw a background to represent a memorable level you used to play as Yoshi.
There are many ways you can get creative with it and we can’t wait to see what you can do!

    Step 6

Finish your Yoshi drawing with some colors
Now that your Yoshi painting is done, all that’s left is to give it some nice color.

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1:

First, draw the head and face, almost like a crocodile: long, flat jaws, with a small crest in place of the eyes. The famous horn of Ceratosaurus is located at the end of the snout above its nose. Don’t forget a circle for the eyes.

    Step 2:

Draw the body with a long sloping line that will go from the back of the head down to the tip of the tail. Then draw a more angled line to show the bottom of its neck, chest, and underside.

    Step 3:

Draw the front legs. Like in many therapies, they are small but very powerful. Draw them curved at an angle, with narrow arms and small claws ready to catch prey. Another curve below the arm will show the chest model of the dinosaur.

    Step 4:

Draw the hind legs, with a series of curved lines, flexing for the big thighs, knees, shins, and ankles. Place a V-shaped line behind the legs, where the body meets the tail. Raise one leg as if the ceratosaurus was running. The feet are large and flat with sharp claws.

    Step 5:

Draw a thick and slightly curved tail to create balance behind the dinosaur, eventually ending at a narrow point like a whip.

First, draw the head, which has a long and low muzzle, like a crocodile. Baryonyx is one of the few known fish-eating dinosaurs, and its mouth evolved just for this purpose.

    Step 2:

Draw the eyes and face by drawing a line along the opening of the mouth, to show the inside, and a small circle for the eyes. Baryonyx did not have large teeth like other large dinosaurs.

    Step 3:

Draw the body, starting with a curved neck that starts lower on the body compared to other dinosaurs, resulting in a raised back.

    Step 4:

Draw the forelimbs as angular, narrow arms with very sharp claws at the ends.

    Step 5:

Draw the hind legs, very long, with large thighs and narrow shins. You may want to break it down into a series of curves, flexing for thighs, knees, shins, and ankles. The feet are large and tall, with three pointed toes.

How To Draw A Dragon Cute Step By Step – Cartoon dragon drawing easy

How To Draw A Dragon Cute with this how-to video and step-by-step drawing instructions. How to draw cartoons  for beginners and kids.

How To Draw A Dragon Cute Step By Step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Starting from the upper left corner of your paper, draw the outline of the dragon’s face. The dragon can face its left or right side, depending on which way you prefer.

Remember to make enough space for the dinosaur’s huge eyes, nose and mouth. The outline should look relatively similar to that of a reptile.

Avoid drawing the dragon’s head in the center of the paper to leave enough space where you can draw the dinosaur’s body. The body requires a much larger space than the head.

    Step 2

    Sketch of the dragon’s face
Fill in the details of the dinosaur’s face. Start with a pair of large circles for the eyes, then draw two parallel curved lines to create noticeably larger nostrils.

Remember that dragons have many physical features with a reptile, so make sure your drawing resembles a winged and horned snake, lizard, crocodile, alligator or salamander as much as possible.

    Step 3

Next, Draw the Body of the Dragon
Draw the body of the dinosaur attached to its face. You can make your body chubby or skinny as you like. If you want to make your dinosaur look muscular, draw a bloated belly.

On the other hand, if you like a slimmer and leaner body, emphasize its muscles. The sky is the limit for your imagination; Take advantage of it!

    Step 4

    Now, Draw Dragon’s Legs
Attach a pair of three-toed feet to the dragon’s limbs. Dragons are often depicted with three toes/claws because the Japanese believe that oriental dragons are descended from their native homeland.

However, feel free to step out of the ordinary! Create as many fingers as you want your dragon to have. There is no limit to creativity!

Don’t forget to draw extremely sharp claws — that’s one of the dragon’s distinctive physical features!

    Step 5

    Then add the dragon tail
Add a tail attached to the lower part of the dragon’s back. Same with the body, you can make it thick or thin, long or short.

Draw an upside down heart at the tip of the tail to finish. In other illustrations of dragons, there are even sharp spikes that surround the entire dragon’s tail. Do not hesitate to customize the characteristics of the dragon’s tail. After all, it’s your artwork!

    Step 6

    Next, Draw Dragon’s Wings
Draw a pair of wings that are connected to the dragon’s back. The wings of a dragon resemble the wings of a bat. Their wings have many physical features, including its skin-like surface as well as layered patterns on the bottom of the wings.

Feel free to draw the wings however you want. Unleash your creativity and allow your hands to follow your imagination.

    Step 7

    More features on dragon body
Now, it’s time to draw the dragon’s body features, including the horns, ears as well as the patterned ridges on the top of its head.

The dragon’s ears can look like a smaller version of the wings, so you can draw the ear exactly the way you drew its wings.

Draw two pointed triangles that look like fangs on top of its head to create the horns. You can make it as long or short, as thick or thin as you like.

Finally, add a few ridges on the surface of the dragon’s head to add detail, making your drawing look more realistic.

    Step 8

    Complete the Dragon’s facial features
Add shading to the eyes and nose to create the illusion of depth. You can leave two white space bubbles in the dragon’s eyes for a “sparkling eyes” effect. The eyes evoke a bit of expression and emotion for the dragon.

Draw parallel lines on the dragon’s horns, ears and wings for a more realistic effect. Also, don’t forget to draw a set of sharp teeth to make your dragon look ferocious!

    Step 9

Fill in the details and form
Combine the same parallel lines pattern from the previous step with the dragon’s belly and the bottom of its tail. And while you’re at it, draw some circular patterns all over the dragon’s body to complete the look!

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

First, let’s draw the head. Imagine a shape-shifting duck with no bills and donations to forget the bug’s most famous feature: it bends its long, curved bone from its transparent head.

    Step 2

Draw the face and eyes, with serious lines showing the features of the skin.

    Step 3

Draw the body, using a tall, hunched shape and a mostly flat line for the underside, with gaps for the limbs. The beetles have a thicker body shape, belong to a group of large herbivores called ornithepads.

    Step 4

With their forelimbs, they were thinner but longer than other predatory dinosaurs such as the T-Rex. Parasaurolophus sometimes walked on all fours, but ran on two backs.

    Step 5

Draw the hind legs much larger than the front legs, with large thighs and long, thin shins. The feet are large and flat. Be sure to draw lines to show the texture of the muscles and skin.

    Step 6

Drawing the tail, it is not as long as other dinosaurs like Sauropods or theropods, but very thick and muscular.

    Step 7

Finally, you can color the dinosaur with dark blue and blue colors.

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start drawing the cute dinosaur outline by creating three long and curved lines. Two loose parallel lines will form the neck. The third one will become the back. It will meet and overlap the upper neckline.

    Step 2

Next, outline the front leg. Use two curved lines for the chest and shoulders of the dinosaur. From the shoulders, extend another line and double in half to outline the feet and shins. Then, draw short lines at the top of the legs and the base of the neck.

    Step 3

Draw the remaining front leg. Again, stretch a curved line and double it back to itself to outline the elephant-like foot. Then, use “U” shaped lines to form the toenails on each foot.

    Step 4

Draw the hind legs. Use a curved line for the top of the leg. Allow it to overlap the second line that doubles in on itself to complete the outline.

    Step 5

Draw two curved lines between the front and rear legs, outlining the abdomen and the other hind legs. Use “U” shaped lines to draw the toenail as you did on the front foot.

    Step 6

Head sketch of cute dinosaur cartoon. Use curved lines to outline the jaw, top and sides of the head, muzzle, and chin. Curve a line at the top of the head inward, not connecting to the other.

Between them, draw a series of “U” shaped lines to attach the crest or spikes on the dinosaur’s head. Use small “U” shaped lines for the nostrils and paint a small oval inside the nostril.

    Step 7

Draw two ovals for the eyes. Fill in a smaller oval inside each box to represent the pupil. Glue a curved shape over each eye, forming an eyebrow.

    Step 8

Extend two lines, one from the hind legs and the other from the dinosaur’s back. Let the lines meet at a gentle point, forming the tail. Outline the spikes on the top of the tail using a series of “U” shaped lines.

    Step 9

Draw a line along the dinosaur’s back and attach “U” shaped spikes above it. Delete as needed.

    step 10

Color your cute dinosaur sketch. Since no one has ever seen dinosaurs, we don’t know what color they actually were. Are they green or brown like this one? Get creative as you color your cartoons!

How To Draw A Dinosaur Easy Step By Step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

For the first step of this dinosaur drawing tutorial, we’re going to start from scratch! Brontosaurus had a small, distinctive head, so we’ll start with that for this tutorial.

Using some curves you can draw the head as small as it appears in the reference image.

Pictures are there to help you, but if you find yourself messing around with shapes you can try using a pencil until you get the hang of it.

    Step 2

    Next, draw on the neck
The neck of a brontosaurus is probably its most striking feature, so we’ll draw that out for the next step.

To draw this, simply draw two curved lines down from the top of your dinosaur drawing.

The reference image should give you a good idea of the length and angle you should aim for in your drawing.

    Step 3

Now let’s draw the back of the dinosaur
Now that you have the head and neck of your dinosaur drawing, you can paint the back for it!

This step will be easy, as you can use a curved upward and then downward swipe as shown in the image to create the dinosaur’s back.

    Step 4

    Next, draw at the tail
As you can see, your dinosaur is really starting to take shape! For this step we will add a nice long tail to your dinosaur drawing.

To do this, you can use a nice long line that bends itself at the end as shown in the picture. Maybe you can change the angle of the tail a bit to make it look like it’s wagging it like a dog!

    Step 5

Now we add the legs and belly
Your dinosaur drawing needs some legs to stand on, so add some in this step! The brontosaurus’ legs were quite thick at the top and thinned as they went down.

For this step we will only add the pins closest to us and we will add the other two later.

    Step 6

Next, draw the remaining two legs
For this shorter step, we will add more pins.

These are pretty easy to add, as it only requires two curves behind the leg that you drew so that the leg will appear as shown in the reference image.

You can also change the position of the legs a bit if you want to give your dinosaur a different pose!

You can even make it look like your dinosaur is walking if you change the position up a bit.

    Step 7

Now you can draw more details on the face
For step 7 of this how to draw a dinosaur tutorial, you have a chance to get a little creative! To complete your dinosaur drawing, it just needs a nice face along with some finer line details.

You can copy these details as they appear in the reference image, but you can also change a few details if you want a unique look to your painting!

For example, you can change the facial expression of your own dinosaur drawing for an interesting variation. What details will you use for your dinosaur drawing?

    Step 8

Now finish it with some color
Your dinosaur drawing is almost done and I’m sure it looks amazing! However, before it is completed, it needs another aspect.

How To Draw Stegosaurus From Jurassic world

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

    Frame drawing
The first thing we will do to create this dinosaur is create a simple frame consisting of the basic shapes. And really basic, at first glance at the examples below, it is clear that the shape of this dinosaur is quite basic…

Alright, let’s get started. Start by drawing a large oval on the page in front of you, followed by the other simple shapes you see in the image above. Draw two extended triangles on the sides – one for the head and neck, and the other for the tail. Then draw a few rectangles like I did above – one for the front legs and one for the back.
Next, for the first five shapes, draw a small oval for where you want to position the head and draw a small curved line at the opposite end for the tip of the tail where the dinosaur’s horn-like spikes will extend. . . Finally, draw a series of simple vertical lines from head to tail to position the panels to be drawn later.

    Step 2

    Draw the head and neck
One thing to note… stegosaurus had a very small head compared to the rest of its body. So try your best to keep with the size of the oval… try not to draw it too big!

A tip for drawing the head… draw the top of the head so that it is flush with the top of the oval. Also, it might be easier (and probably looks better!) if you close your dinosaur’s mouth. Mine looks like it’s coughing… you might want to keep it simple, like the head of an apatosaurus – a good lesson for him!

Draw the neck of a cartoon stegosaurus
Next, use the triangle to help you draw the neck of your cartoon stegosaurus. However, only use it to guide your lines… look to the right and you can see how I’ve gone astray.

As your lines approach the large oval (body) of the stegosaurus, adjust them to the curve as they will soon become part of the dinosaur’s main body. Draw the lower neckline so that it stops near the top of the rectangle.

So… what does your dinosaur look like so far? Are the head and neck in the correct position? Exquisite! Go ahead… the next step is to draw your stegosaurus’ body.

    Step 3

    Stegosaurus Body and Legs
Okay, now let’s draw the torso and legs of your cartoon dinosaur. The first thing to do after that is perfect the back and tail of the stegosaurus by continuing from where you left off at the neck…

Draw the back and tail of a cartoon stegosaurus
As you can see, it’s very helpful to use the framework to guide you – just follow the shapes to create the dinosaur’s core body from head to tail. You will notice that I have left gaps where there are two rectangles. Same goes for the leg gaps – you may also want to leave gaps along the upper neck line, back, and tail in places you’ll draw in later panels.

    Step 4

Draw the legs of a cartoon stegosaurus
As you can see, the rectangles serve as a nice location marker for the stegosaurus’ legs. Always remember though… it’s not about drawing exactly what you see in the example – it’s about using the ideas you see as a guide… ‘food for thought’ as you create a dinosaur of its own! You can completely change the look of the legs, even to something simpler and more square.

Okay, let’s go ahead and finish Step Three by drawing the other limbs…

Draw a second set of legs for your stegosaurus
With your left (right) front and rear legs pulled in, add the other legs fairly straight forward. The easiest way to draw them is to ‘clone’ them like in the Tyrannosaurus Rex lesson.

And once you’ve completed the legs, it’s time to capture the ‘brand’ features of the stegosaurus… its armor-like plates and horn-like battle spines protrude outward from the end of its tail. .

    Step 5

    Stegosaurus Plates & Spikes
There’s really no “right way” to draw the stegosaurus discs. That’s why I’m just asking you to draw simple vertical lines. They help to put them in place so that when it’s time to draw them (now!), you can have fun and come up with unique pictures in your own style…

How to draw a stegosaurus – complete lines
One obvious thing to note here…depending on what shape you want, you can’t let the shields cross the road and into the dinosaur’s body. This will of course require you to remove some space on the upper necklines, back and tail to create the effect you see above.

If you want, draw flat panels with these lines. Remember it’s a cartoon and such – simplicity is what matters! Either way, have some fun drawing in every plate. Notice how I made the spacing quite asymmetrical and not too even. This gives it more ‘character’.

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1:

Start with a potato shape for the body. Sketch two rounded shapes for the upper and lower jaws.

    Step 2:

Draw two curved lines to connect the head to the body. Add a narrow, upside-down pear shape for the back arm. You can create thighs, shins, and feet from three overlapping shapes as shown. Add two curved lines at the end to make the tail.

    Step 3:

Create the front arm by sketching another narrow pear shape and a rounded rectangle. Shape the front leg with three overlapping shapes for the thigh, shin, and foot.

    Step 4:

Draw the fingers and toes at the ends of the arms and legs. Allosaurus had three fingers. Make sure the claws are sharp! Add ridges at the top of the head like eyebrows. Complete the face with circles for the eyes and ears and triangles for the teeth. Draw a tongue in the mouth and a tear tilted to the side for the nostril.

    Step 5:

Add lines to show actual details. The lines in the neck, arms, legs, and tail show muscles. Other lines show skin folds.

    Step 6:

Using a marker, use a marker to draw over the pencil lines that you want to keep. Erase the excess pencil lines and the dinosaur is ready to color.

Your dinosaur is done! Even if you don’t get it right the first time, keep practicing until you’re satisfied with your drawing.

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start this first step by drawing out some basic guides and shapes to create a workable framework for your dinosaur. Start with a small circle for the head and then draw another larger circle for the body. Then you will draw more shapes to

    Step 2

All you have to do here is draw a box like the head you see here and then draw in the eyes. Next, draw the lines of the mouth and then start outlining the horns on one side of its face.

    Step 3

You will now slowly pull out each Ankylosaurus’ thorny horns all the way to the tail. Detail next and define the head, face and eyes.

    Step 4

Continue drawing spikes, horns, and discs on the dinosaur’s back and sides to form its armor. Once that’s done, you can add some detail to the front shoulder of the leg.

    Step 5

Start outlining the front and rear legs as you see here and make sure to outline the legs and all the details and strokes that go with it. This dinosaur’s skin is very thick and skin-like, so you have to convey that in dr

    Step 6

Continue drawing the last hind leg and then draw the belly and tail lines and shapes. Add some small details and then start erasing all the guides and shapes that you drew in step one. You will now move on to the next step.

    Step 7

When you’ve finished drawing your spiny dinosaur, you’ll have a drawing that looks like this. Color in and you’re done with this “how to draw Ankylosaurus step by step” tutorial.

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

So let’s start drawing Triceratops traditionally using mostly simple geometric shapes. Describe three ovals for the head, chest, and pelvis.

    Step 2

Now, use a long, smooth line to depict the neck, going into the spine and tail. Next, draw the front and rear legs with simple lines.

    Step 3

Now describe a mouth that somewhat resembles the beak of a bird. The upper jaw should be larger than the lower jaw.

    Step 4

Draw the bottom edge of the neck with a straight line. Further, go to the top of the head and draw the frill that we wrote in the beginning.

    Step 5

Draw two long, pointed horns on the top of the head and one shorter horn on the nose. Try to repeat the horn curl as in the example from the artists of Easydrawingart.com.

    Step 6

Draw a small round eye and a wrinkle below the horn. Next, draw the nostril under the nose horn. Use a few short lines to mark the lower jaw.

    Step 7

Now draw the front leg with four simple lines. Try to repeat their outline as closely as possible. Drawing one leg in front of the other will make the Triceratops look more dynamic.

    Step 8

Very simple stage of tutorial on how to draw Triceratops. At the bottom of the forelegs, the toes have short, rounded claws.

    Step 9

Now draw the bottom edge of the torso by connecting the ribcage and pelvis from below. In the same stage, draw the lower edge of the tail.

    Step 10

Now let’s perform the same actions as those performed in the seventh stage. Draw the rear pins using four simple lines, which should be larger than the front pins.

    Step 11

Now draw the toes with the toenails on the hind legs. Notice that from this vantage point we can only see three toes on each foot.

    Step 12

Carefully remove all construction lines that were created in the first two stages. To make the Triceratops drawing look clearer and more complete, darken the artwork by outlining it with a darker pencil.

    Step 13

We painted Triceratops’ skin green, eyes black and toenails dark green. Adding a drop shadow will give the Triceratops drawing a more realistic and lifelike look.

But that’s not all you can do with your Triceratops drawing. For example, you can draw a background with flora and fauna from the Cretaceous period.

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

    A perfect Pterodactyl framework!
As I mentioned above, this dinosaur closely resembles some of the dragons here on this site. Therefore, drawing this particular dinosaur and the framework… will be a good practice for any future dragon you plan to draw.

As you can see, the core of the pterodactyl is extremely simple – an oval for the body, a curved line for the neck, and a small circle for the head. Paint yours so it looks the same.

The rest of the framework is quite complicated that you have to take into account, the large openings…

    Framework for a cartoon pterodactyl
When drawing the wing lines as you see above, it is important to keep them the same length. I say “about” when this particular dinosaur is turned slightly left (your right). As a result, the left wing (which is your right again) will appear to be a bit shorter.

Next, move on to drawing simple lines and shapes to bring out the main features of the dinosaur…

The pterodactyl’s beak and horn-like protrusion on the head of the pterodactyl are fairly straight forward, especially when you draw a cross first to maintain symmetry. Then draw on the legs – three straight lines… followed by four circles for the claws and the coming claws.

The final additions to your framework are two different colored vertical lines. Why? Well, they mark the halfway point between where each wing joins the fuselage and where each wingtip ends. And this is very useful for drawing skin membranes later.

And with that – you’re ready to go ahead and start drawing your animated pterodactyl! Go on…

    Step 2

Draw your Pterodactyl’s head and body
The crosses are really helpful when drawing the actual head and body of your pterodactyl. To start, draw the head, then the arms like so…

Remember – change the look of your dinosaur. You have outlined all the proportions and so focusing on creating your own unique look is the thing to work towards.

Next, work your way up to pterodactyl reduction by drawing simple lines to complete the torso and shins…

Draw the body of the cartoon pterodactyl Draw the legs of the cartoon pterodactyl
And just like the cross on the circular part of the head, the cross on the oval part of the body is useful because it gives you a unique perspective of the drawing where you can balance the sides. left and right to match, keeping symmetry as you progress.

Well, with the head and body done, let’s move on to the next step!…

    Step 3

    Drawing stories and claws
Starting with the claws (foot), see the small example on your left. Using the circle that makes up the foot area on each leg, draw three pointed claws. To get yours like mine, first start with the innermost digit, then work your way aside.

Draw the nails of the cartoon pterodactyl
And then, once you’ve got the claws in place – let’s move on to the claws area – circles appear halfway along the top of each wing.

Just like with strokes, use circles to guide you as you draw three fingers on each nail. In fact, it’s four fingers, not three – the fourth is similar to a human ‘baby’ finger… and it extends all the way to the tip of the wing, supporting the webbed skin more than it allows. flying dinosaur.

Also, before you complete each swipe – make sure you leave a small space to draw each ‘baby finger’ that will extend to either end of the wing.

    Step 4

Complete the Pterodactyl by Completing the Wings
At this point, everything is ready and all that’s left to paint are the wings. Lucky for you, you’ve got a very nice frame on which to place the rest of your drawing exactly – starting with ‘baby fingers’…

    Drawing wings for cartoon pterodactyl
Looking at the example above, you can see that each of the remaining fingers protrudes and emerges from the nail to become a supporting branch for the rest of the wing. Draw each of these, keeping the shape of the frame intact. And also draw two dots – one on each colored line. Mark them with a distance down from two claws.

    Completed pterodactyl animation drawing
The last thing then – use the red dot (and the green lines – written in pencil in your case) to draw the last part of each wing – the skin. It is the webbed skin that allows the pterodactyl to fly, like a dragon. The red dots, which mark points on the half of the wing, can make it easier to create a more curved look for this part of the wing. They also help balance the left and right wings symmetrically.

And there you have it, some final touches and you’re done!

    Step 5

In fact, there aren’t too many details to add at this point. Again, it’s a fairly plain looking creature compared to a dragon, and so… why not keep it that way?

But of course – add some color to give your drawing some character. On top of that, I’ve come up with a unique combination of red-orange, orange, and yellow polka dots. But hey, try something a little different… purple or brown skin would look pretty neat too!

And so, this brings us to the end of another cartoon dinosaur drawing lesson. I hope you enjoyed creating this ‘powerful flying pterodactyl’ and I welcome you back soon for some more lessons!

Start with a few guidelines that are body, head, and tail.

    Step 2

Use the facial guides to draw in the jawline both the upper and lower jaw. Draw the pointed teeth inwards and then do step three.

    Step 3

Now we will sketch with the eyes and then the eel as long as the tongue. Add some strokes around the eyes as well to add skin texture.

    Step 4

Now we will draw the body. This is very simple because all you will do is draw the fins first and then draw the fins for the limbs. Sketch some wrinkles around the shoulders for skin texture.

    Step 5

Finally, draw the top of the head and neck, then outline the back bone outlined with small serrations. Paint on the tail and then you can add last minute details to the skin.

    Step 6

Here’s the drawing when you’re done. Of course you must erase your mistakes and instructions. Color in your Mosasaurus then show everyone what prehistoric dinosaur/lizard you just drew.
