You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1

We’ll draw him in a slanted style to add some horror. Make a circle for the head and then draw facial guides for the face.

Step 2

Using the facial guidelines you made in step one, outline the actual structure of Pennywise’s head and face. As you can see, he has a long and clear chin.

Step 3

Start sketching the harsh look Pennywise is giving you. Eyeliner should be bold, bold and thick. Draw along the crease for the eyelids, and then outline the detail under the eyes as well as on the temples.

Step 4

Detailed sketch on his forehead, as well as on the bridge of his nose. Once that’s done, draw the clown like a nose but you can see it’s not perfectly round. It looks like a real nose with nostrils. Sketch the wrinkled lines in the sycamore tree

Step 5

Next, draw the top gum line, and then follow the pointed rows of the top teeth as well as the bottom rows of teeth. Fill in the inside of the mouth and then line the bottom lip.

Step 7

Sketch the right part of Pennywise’s neck and then draw crazy or wild strands of hair starting from the side of his head instead of the entire head. Take your time so that the lining of your hair shows up perfectly.

Step 8

Finally, outline the hair on the other and left sides of the neck as well as the ruffled collar. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 9

Once everything is cleaned up, you’ve got yourself a great drawing of the monster from It. Thank you and I hope you enjoy.
