Step 1
Start by drawing an oval. This will help you outline the woman’s face.
Step 2
Draw two curved lines going down from the head to form the neck and shoulders.
Step 3
Connect the two ends of the shoulders with a curved line, and at the same time form the skirt neck. Extend a pair of curved lines from the top of the shoulder and just below it to form the upper arm. Bend the elbow by drawing another pair of curved lines extending from the first line at an opposite diagonal angle. Tie two short lines at the end of the arms to form the cuffs. Then use curved lines to enclose the hands and fingers. Draw a curved line from the armpit to the hand, forming one side of the torso.
Step 4
Extend two long, curved lines, one from the opposite shoulder and one just below. This outlines the other arm and side of the torso. Draw curved lines on the lower part of the arm and connect them with an additional line, forming the cuff. Use curved lines to outline the hands and fingers.
Step 5
Lengthen the curve of the torso, curling inwards below the hips and outwards to create a flare for the evening gown. Then, overlap the “L” shaped lines to form the pleats of the dress. Complete the center fold by drawing a third line.
Step 6
Draw more “L” shaped lines in the opposite direction to complete the skirt. Extend the last line to the hand, completing the contour. Note the bulge of the hips.
Step 7
Use a long curved line to draw the hair. Use two short curved lines that meet at one point to draw a strand of hair that falls across the forehead. Delete as needed.
Step 8
Use curved lines to form the eyebrows and paint two small teardrop shapes to form the eyes.
Step 9
Use curved lines to indicate the mouth and nose.

Step 4.

Draw triangles along the side of the body to begin forming the upper armor. Add more triangles on top for spikes. Split head to separate mouth and lower jaw. Draw circles for the eyes and eye sockets. Place a teardrop shape near the front of the face to make the nostrils.
Step 6.
More armor
Draw curves on the back and head of Ankylosaurus. This provides a grid to show how the armor spikes are arranged.

Step 7.
Draw spikes on armor
Draw the armor spikes by following the instructions of the grid. Add detailed lines on legs, belly and tail.
Step 8.
Add the final touches
Trace the pencil lines you want to keep with a marker and erase any excess. Ankylosaurus is now ready to color.

Step 5.
More skin features
Draw a line from the top of the head to the top of the crest. Add some wavy lines around the edge of the vertex for more detail. Add lines in the legs and tail to show the muscles. The lines on the neck and abdomen will show the folds in the skin. Don’t forget to draw toenails on the feet.
Step 6.
Add the final touches

More antennas and flags
Sketch an antenna in front of the ship. Add a flagpole next to it. Draw two circles in the circles on the side of the boat to make the window. Draw small rectangles next to the nearest window to create the anchor detail. Add small rectangles and wedges to the far side of the bow to create the anchor detail there.
Step 7.
Complete the above structure
Finish with some detailed lines on the structures above. Add a crossbar and antenna to the tallest structure.

Step 1
Start by drawing an oval to outline the squirrel’s head.

Draw a bun on top of the head using a series of long and short curved lines, allowing the lines to connect with sharp points.
Step 10
Draw the ears by extending a set of curved lines on each side of the hair. Allow lines to meet at rounded points.
Step 11
Erase the guide lines from the ears and hair.
Step 12
Draw a teardrop shape to form each eye. In the eye, draw a circle. Then draw a curved line through the bottom of the circle and two smaller circles near the top. Shade between small circles and lines. Draw a few short curved lines at the top of each eye to form the eyelashes.
Step 13
Draw an upside down, rounded, slightly irregular triangle to form the nose. Draw a wide, rounded “W” shaped line to form the top of the mouth. Place an irregular shape below the top of the “W” and draw a line down the center of the shape. This forms the squirrel’s large teeth. Draw a “U” shaped line to complete the mouth and use two curved lines to indicate the tongue.
Step 14
Give the squirrel an acorn. Draw a curved, rounded, narrow rectangle to form the acorn lid. Enclose a narrow cylinder above the cap to form the stem. Indicate the distal arm with a curved line. Draw the squirrel’s hand, using narrow “U” shaped lines to form the fingers. Finally, outline the shape of the acorn using two curved lines.
Step 15
Remove the guide lines from the acorn.
Step 16
Draw a curved line above each eye to indicate the eyebrows. Surround each foot with a series of curves, allowing the lines to overlap and form the toes.
Step 17
Begin the squirrel’s bushy tail by drawing a curved line from the hip to the face and another extending from one side of the head.
Step 18

Details and shadows

Step 1
Draw a large pear-shaped body. Sketch an oval for the muzzle. Above it, add a circular section for the head. Use two ovals to show the hands.
Draw two long ovals for the feet. Sketch four curved lines for the legs. Add a comma-shaped tail.
Step 2
Use ovals (some parts) for the fingers and toes. To show part of the arm, use a long U and a J shape (both upside down). Attach a short line to a thumb.
Draw an oval and two short curved lines for the mouth. For the nose, use two circular sections and two side Js. Add upside down V-shaped ears. Form U-shaped brow lines.
Step 3
Sketch a partial circle for the eyes. Draw curved lines inside the ear. Use comma shaped eyebrows. Create teardrop shaped nostrils. Outline the bottom and left and right sides of the jaw using short, curved lines.
Form two long, curved lines down the belly and along the tail. Add claws using thick comma shapes and curved V shapes. End your left index finger with a short line.
Step 4
For the eyelids, use two check marks. Draw the pupil and iris using four lines. Connect the U-shapes along the back of the head. Place a curved line under these fins. Draw U-shaped teeth.
Form the J-, U-, and W-shaped scales. Draw lines along the belly and tail. Connect the tail to your right leg with a line. Use two squiggly lines for the knees.
Step 5
Darken pupils, eyebrows and nostrils. Add shadow lines to the palm.
Your dragon is done! Now you should be a little more confident with your drawing skills.
