The Gift is the second Turkish-original series on Netflix to be praised for its artistic and polished approach to the spiritual fantasy horror genre.
The series follows a woman as she tries to uncover the mystery of an icon found in a dugout in Göbeklitepe.
The show first appeared on streamers in 2019 and has 16 episodes spanning 2 seasons so far.
After season 2 left us baffled, let’s find out if another season is on its way to ending things.
There will be ‘The Gift’ Season 3
That’s a bittersweet answer. Netflix has refreshed The Gift for season 3. However, it will be the final season of the series, the streaming giant announced back in March 2020.
The final installment of the series is slated to arrive next year.
The first two seasons both released eight episodes each, with season 2 being filmed alongside the first. We are expecting similar runtimes for season 3.
When will ‘The Gift’ season 3 release?
Netflix has yet to announce a specific release date for the third season of The Gift. The Turkish series currently only has a vague release date of 2021 as of the time of this writing.
Season 2 just premiered on Netflix on September 10, 2020.
The series first hits the streaming giant on December 27, 2019. Based on the show’s previous release schedule, we’ll likely see the series finale in the final quarter of 2021. .

Plot: What is likely to happen in ‘The Gift’ Season 3?

The series follows Atiye, an artist who discovers an unusual artifact that has a mysterious connection to her past and life.
Season 2 ended in a suspense. After Atiye finally finds out the mystery behind the deaths of pregnant women, she realizes that it is up to her to save the world.
Atiye bids farewell to Erhan and returns to the new world to give birth to a daughter.
In the final moments of season 2, we see Atiye frantically chasing her daughter, who is being carried away by a hooded stranger.
Eventually, the stranger is revealed to be Ozan from the first world where Atiye originally came from.
He is working for the secret organization his father used to belong to. What do they want from Atiye’s daughter?
Season 3 will chronicle Atiye’s journey as she tries to rescue her daughter from the hands of Ozan and the mysterious organization.
