pure skill and superb execution, no pluses from the judges. For those who are still wondering if the red car drift was accidental, it is not. That dog was in the area! A friend of mine whose daughter’s cousin is autistic and literally can spin anything you give him on his finger. It’s pretty cool. The girl in black who did a somersault with her hands after her skateboard failed, impressed me the most, because it was a spontaneous reaction, rather than most things, which is inherent are tricks practiced to perfection.
I love these, I often wonder if it’s the skill, have they tried so many times or just the right place at the right time for the camera? Whatever it is, they are amazing to watch!
I’m trying to figure out why that “illusion” works so well. It’s easy to see when you slow down the video, he does nothing but bring his hand forward into a fist. But for some reason at full speed, it doesn’t look like that at all. Nor when I do it, it looks like an illusion. So is the color of his skin, and how different one of his hands is from the other, and perhaps that somehow deceives the eye. I’m just guessing here. Great little trick regardless.

How to draw surreal eyes step by step

Sketch all the basic shapes. Then, with lighter strokes, mark the outline of the more prominent shadows that you can notice at this point.
I started with the student and continued adding shapes around it.
How to sketch eyes with a grid – proper order
Pupil
Iris
Light reflection

Inner corner elements

Waterline (eyelid contour)

Hover over the image or tap it to see the numbers.
Remember that the pupil and iris should be round. Be sure to look at them from a slightly different angle and see if they are more or less round. Another thing to keep in mind is that the pupil should be right in the center of the iris.
Now, for each eye there is a reflected point of light. Its shape is determined by a light source, such as a lamp or a window (in our case, a window). You often notice many highlights in your model’s eyes. I usually choose to ignore them – a bigger point is enough – it makes the eyes pop and keeps the drawing clean. You’ll get the best results if the reflection cuts into the pupil, so it’s half there and half on the iris.
As for the waterline lines, keep in mind that they get thinner as they get closer to the inner corner of the eye. The visibility of the upper water level depends on the angle at which we look at the eye.
Last but not least: be careful with lines that span multiple squares. After you have drawn the outline in each square, look at the entire line again and flatten it.
Pro Tip: When drawing with a grid, always remember to check what the grid made you do. Draw specific squares separately to ensure good proportions. Then look at the whole picture and check if the shapes look good, they connect smoothly and you don’t need to move things around a bit.
First, you may want to roll your kneaded eraser over the drawing a few times to make the sketch less visible. I leave it as it is so you can see it better.
The student’s shadow will determine the contrast of our drawing. Fill in properly with a soft pencil (at least 4B). Add layers until you achieve the closest shadow to black.
If the highlighter on your eyes gets into your pupils, keep that area white! It won’t be possible to remove it later without any graphite residue showing up.
Highlight Iris
In the next few steps I will show you how to draw an iris.
First, fill in the entire iris. Tilt your pencil slightly to keep the strokes soft, like on the right side of the image below.
Leave white reflected light. It’s the second factor that determines contrast. Make it the brightest element in your eye drawing.
Using a much darker color, define the outline of the iris. Make that line pretty thick.
If you are drawing another eye, where the eyelid covers part of the iris, leave that part as is.
MIX IRIS
Before blending, make sure you have erased the grid lines around the iris. We need that area clean as we will not only blend the inside but also the outer edge of the iris. If we don’t delete these lines, they will still be visible and trying to remove them later will destroy our perfect blend.
Use a blending stump to smooth the inside of the iris. I like to blend in the opposite direction of the pencil strokes. The truth is that I usually blend everywhere, so don’t think of that as a rule.
The final step here is to blur the dark circle on the outside of the iris that we created earlier. Use the tip of the stump to do it, keeping it slightly tilted.
Pro Tip: Using stump tips is the fastest way to damage them. However, I own a stump that is enough and I can damage it a little more. So you should.
First, dilute the dark circle towards the pupil. Then smooth the outer edge. If you look into any eye, you will notice that the line between the iris and the sclera is softer than sharp.
FILLING IRISE WITH SOME BASIC LINES
If your goal is to create a surreal eye drawing, the next 4 steps are crucial – we will draw a detailed iris.
If you feel like it’s too much, that’s okay. Even without these details, your drawing will look very impressive. All these odds and sods can also be superfluous if you’re creating a portrait or a whole person sketch where you won’t be able to see such small details. If so, please skip to step 9.
If not, draw a wiggly circle around the student. This ring usually separates different colors, shades, or structures in the iris.
Next, add a few more lines around the pupil. They should start right in the middle of the pupil and end at the edge of the iris (hover over the image). Make sure the spacing between them is uneven – the whole iris is quite messy and we wanted to make it as small as possible
First step here – delete the grid lines covering the top cover area. I didn’t and you can see them show up from below the graphite layer. It is often possible to blend them with the rest of the image, but sometimes they still show up. So don’t follow my example here. Erase hell out of them.
Next, refine the wrinkle – make it really dark and quite thick.
Fill in the whole area the way I did. Start at the inner corner and end at the line connecting the crease to the eyebrow. Remember to sharpen and tilt your pencil for that.
Looking at our reference photo, you’ll see that you should make the left side a bit darker. Same goes for the area above the brow crease. Please follow my sketch along with the shadows you can see in the original photo.
Let’s also start shading the folds. You should add a gradual shadow below the left fold and above the right fold. Look at the image to see where the conversion actually happens.
REGIONAL COOPERATION ON THE BILLION
Mix everything with the stump and brush if you have one.
Pro tip: Using a soft brush (preferably a makeup brush) can help you achieve better results than the original brush for blending, especially with light colors.
Go beyond the brow line a bit so that in the next steps you can smoothly transition between these areas.
Tweaking Shadows and Highlights
Just look at your drawing and decide if it needs more contrast. I added a drop shadow in the crease area (add a drop shadow under the fold on the right side and darken the rest of them)
I also use my blended eraser to highlight the top of my brows.
CHECK THE SPACE BETWEEN EYES AND EYES
Then, cover the entire area evenly.
Add another layer to darken the shadow next to the base of the nose.
CONNECTION TO THE UPPER COVER
This is the first part that actually contains the edge of our eye drawing. While mixing it, don’t forget to fade it to the left side.
Another thing to remember is to re-line the brow line.
Connect this skin to the skin that we drew earlier so that the shadow falls evenly across the entire upper eyelid.
ADDING LAYERS BELOW EYE
Again, delete unnecessary grid lines.
Add a few dots on the lower lash line so you can still see where it is, even after you blend the lower lash area. Don’t worry about their visibility – we’ll grow eyelashes from them later!
Fill in the remaining skin with gentle strokes. Continue adding layers in areas that need more shade. Play with some slashes here to ensure better coverage – change the direction of the strokes in each layer by 90 degrees.
MIX THE BOTTOM LINE
Mix everything. As always, start with lighter tones.
I used the brush to blend the white skin at the bottom of the artboard and the original for all the darker shades.
MORE DEVELOPMENT
As a rule, look at your eye drawing and see if you should enhance the contrast, aka darken the shadows.
You can also draw some wrinkles in this step. Use gentle strokes to create the most beautiful lines.
Smooths EVERYTHING
If you added new layers, use the stump to blend them into the rest of the artboard.
The transitions between skin shades should be subtle and soft, so stroke them with your brush. Take that same brush – you now have some graphite residue on it – and blend the edges of your drawing.
INTRODUCTION OUTSTANDING SKIN TEXTURE
This is another step that you can skip if you are creating a less realistic work. If so, go to step 30.
See all those little wrinkles at the corners of your eyes? It is drawing with the eraser again!
I used my eraser to do that – it’s super thin and does a great job with lines.
First, draw some lines and spots at the corner of the eye, then move to the skin on the lower eyelid.
This texture might look complicated, but I created it by simply swiping the area in one direction first and adding some random lines afterwards (preferably in the opposite direction). The goal is to create a pattern that looks like skin cells – a grid of small rhombuses and triangles.
While holding the eraser in hand, I also added some highlights around the waterline and on the eyeballs.
MORE FUTURE POP
Considering that all wrinkles and textures are indentations in the skin, you should combine each highlight with a dark area. Do it with a worn pencil or with the tip of a blended stump.
The light source is on the top right, so all tracks should have shadows on the top or right.

MORE tendons
While we’re looking at the details, let’s add some veins on the eyeball.
Draw a few irregular lines that vary in shade. They should be very thin, so use a fairly sharp pencil. Just don’t push it too hard. We wanted them to be subtle so as not to overshadow the iris. It’s drawing the eyes, not drawing the cardiovascular system, winking, winking.

Step 1

Start your drawing by deciding how much paper you want the face to take up. Using a ruler, draw a horizontal line at the top and bottom of your paper with two vertical lines about an inch apart on either side. In the middle, draw another horizontal line. This will form a square in the center of your paper with three horizontal and vertical lines extending beyond it.
Start drawing a rounded curved line at the top of the page, bringing the two vertical curves down to the midline. Both of these should lie just outside the outside lines of the square. From these side lines, draw a slight curve on either side of the bottom of the page, below the center square, bringing the two together at the bottom horizontal line. This midsection should be a bit flatter to form the chin.
Step 2:
Add ears and hairline
Draw the top of the circle inside the original curve at the top of your page. This will create a hairline for you to work on later. From here, draw a lightly dotted line about a third of the way up from the center horizontal line to mark the guide line for the top of the ear.
Draw a curved line down each side of the face until about halfway down the bottom half of the drawing (down the middle of the cheeks). Inside each ear, draw a few ovals and lines to create the inner part of the ear.
Step 3
Mark the tutorial and start drawing eyes
On the middle horizontal line, draw five bright rectangles. Inside the second and fourth rectangles, draw an oval overlapping the midline. In each oval, draw a large circle and a small circle for the eyeballs, and a slightly curved line on each circle for the top of the eye. At the top of the guide rectangle, draw the eyebrows as a curved rectangle. Along the bottom of the guide rectangle, outline in curved lines to outline the nose with the tip resting on the bottom of the guide.
When you are learning how to draw a face, drawing the right eyes is one of the most important factors in making your drawing more realistic. Start by redrawing the circles of the eyeballs with a dark pencil to frame them before adding a lighter shade inside. After you’ve shaded the entire eyeball, erase a few small spots around the pupil to give the eyes a slightly glassy look. Add shine to the corners of your eyes to start creating a more three-dimensional look.
Take your pencil, shade around the outside of the eye around the oval and up to the bottom line of the eyebrows. Shade in different shades to create depth for the eyes. Once you’ve added this shadow, draw longer and shorter lines along the top and bottom of the eye to create the lashes.
To complete the eyes, paint very short lines in the curved rectangle of the eyebrows. Start with a much darker and darker shade at the inner corners, gradually lightening with pencil strokes as you move towards the outer edges. Since eyebrows are usually thicker near the nose, this makes your drawing more realistic.
Step 4
Complete the nose
Continue shading from the eye down along the center guide and the rough outline you created for the tip of the nose. Shade along the contours of the two small ovals for the nostrils. Start painting a slightly lighter shade as you move towards the center of the nose from the left side to create the shadow.
Repeat the shading on the right side of the nose and in the center, but make sure your pencil is lighter on the right than on the left to maintain the shadow you’ve created. You can also use an eraser to add a lighter line in the center of the nose to create a contrasting look with the shadows.
Step 5
Drawing in the lips
As you did with the nose, start redrawing the pale outline you drew earlier for the lips and teeth. Shade between the teeth with the darkest pencil you have on hand. With your next lightest pencil, start painting from the bottom of your upper lip and work your way up to the top of the lip, getting a little brighter as you shade.

For the lower lip, use a dark pencil to paint around the outer edges and fade as you move towards the center of the lip. You can use your eraser to help keep the center part brighter. Once the lips are completely shaded, draw short, bold lines from the center of the lips and move outwards to create the illusion of full lips.
Step 6
Finish the skin shadow
Start from the left side of the face and work from the outside to the center. This will help keep the shadow effect you started with on the left side of the nose. Use the darkest pencil to paint along the outer edge of the face, moving lighter as you get closer to the underside of the center of the eye. Keep the shade here until you start to reach for the existing shadow next to the nose.
Brush up to the forehead, keeping the shade bright as you move up to the outer edge above the left eyebrow. As you shade towards the hairline in the top center of your face, keep your pencil as light as possible. The middle and right part of the forehead should be some of your brightest colors to bring out the shadows that fall down the left side of the face.
Continue buffing lightly across the right side of the face, adding a little darker shade just below the center of the bottom lip. As you move up the neck, shade from left to right, keeping the shadow for about 3/4 of the neck with a small triangle of lighter shade on the right. Finally, cover the insides of the ears on both sides in both light and dark patterns to reflect where the light comes naturally.
Step 7
Add hair to your face drawing
Finally, draw individual curves from the center of the top of the head curving down around one side of the face. The lines should be darker in the center and lighter, before darkening again along the left side of the face.You will repeat this on the right side of the face with a lighter color, drawing lines around the edges of the shoulders and face to complete your drawing.

For the back, create a curving curve that ends with a loose point for the tail, then release it into a deep curve that connects to the torso. Complete the final leg with three overlapping toes and a few short runs.
Step 10
Complete your three-horned cartoon by outlining the entire drawing with a black pen or marker. Erase loose pencil lines. For a realistic look, color your cartoon tricorn with a light green color. Use a darker blue for the shadows and a lighter white for the horns, toes, and beak. Add a lighter green to the highlights to show the sunlight hitting the dinosaur’s skin.

I don’t know what the names of the rocket launcher parts are, but I’ll do my best to convey the object you’re drawing. Start with the barrel of the launcher like that. This is a thin, narrow tube from which the grenade is blown.

Now you will draw the actual structure for such a rocket launcher. Along with this design you will need to draw a pistol grip.

Next, add details to the handle, then draw another handle for the launcher. After all, you need two hands to operate this machine.

Step 1
Start by drawing three evenly spaced circles. Note that one circle is smaller than the others; this will form the big cat’s head. Note, the position of the circles. The person in the middle is shorter than the others. These two larger circles will help you outline the animal’s shoulders and hips.

Draw a curved line on top of the small circle, outlining the leopard’s eyebrows. Then, draw rounded triangles on either side of the line, erasing if necessary. These will form the snow leopard’s ears. Next, draw a long curved line that descends from the last circle to form the tail.

Draw long, curved lines connecting the circles, forming the neck, shoulders, back, and belly. Remove the remaining guides on top from the original circle.
Step 5
Detail of the cat’s face. Draw small curved shapes to indicate the eyes and nose.
Step 6
Draw small circles that overlap the bottoms of the large circles at the shoulders and hips. These guides will help you create the shape of the leg. Below the body, outline flat circles on one side to aid in drawing the feet.
Step 7
Draw pairs of curved lines connecting the small circles to the feet, forming the legs. Then, use curved lines to detail the toes on each foot.
Step 8
Delete any remaining instruction lines. Use curved lines to outline the neck, front leg, remaining hind leg, and toes.
Step 9
Use a long, curved line to complete the tail. Then, use curved lines to draw irregularly shaped spots all over the snow leopard’s body and stripes on its legs and tail.
Step 10
Color your snow leopard. The snow leopard’s coat is usually white or cream with black or brown spots.

Step 1
Start by drawing two circles, one larger than the other. The circles should overlap. These shapes help you outline the guitar body.
Step 2
Draw a guide line straight down the center of the guitar. In case the line overlaps the larger circle, draw two circles, one inside the other. This is the sound hole of the guitar.
Step 3
Draw more guide lines on the guitar body. They must meet the previous line at a right angle. Draw one at the top of the small circle, a second in the middle of the large circle, and a third at the bottom of the large circle.
Step 4
Start sketching the neck of the guitar. Draw a long and narrow rectangle extending from the small circle. It will start inside the sound hole and run parallel to the original path. Above the neck, draw another rectangle, shorter and wider than the first. This outlines the top stocks.
Step 5
Draw more guide lines on the guitar body. Draw the first one in the small circle, halfway between the existing guide line and the sound hole. It should be perpendicular to the original path. In the great circle, draw lines from the center path to the points where the large and small circles overlap.
Step 6
In the small circle, draw lines from the center path to the intersection points of the circle and the guitar neck.
Step 7
Erase the outer edges of the circles, leaving the subtle shape of the guitar.
Step 8
Round straight paths by drawing curved lines over them. Connect the head and neck with short lines. Draw six small circles on top. They connect the strings and the tuning keys. Below the large circle’s center guide, draw a narrow rectangle. This indicates the bridge to which the chains are attached.

Erases all guide lines, leaving a clear contour of the acoustic guitar.

STEP 1
The first step is to create the inner flame of the flame. Start by outlining the basic shape of the flame using curved lines. It is important to note that the top of the flame should be narrower and form a point, giving the flame a more natural look and feel. This can be achieved by using smaller, tighter curves at the top of the flame and larger, more rounded curves at the bottom. This will give the flame a spiky, raised shape commonly associated with fire. You can take the help of construction lines to draw fire outlines.
STEP 2
The second step is to add other curves of the flame. This layer will be more shaped and larger than the previous layer like a teardrop. With the help of the reference image, you may find that there are some rough edges or sharp points that complement the softer wavy line that you can create with a softer pencil. Therefore, it will look like a real fire!
STEP 3:
Now that you’ve drawn the base of the flame, it’s time to add more detail and texture to the flame. Now you need to add small flames around the center of the flame. At the bottom of the flame, add equal flares on both sides to make your flame look bigger and more beautiful.
STEP 4:
At this point you have a small flame with flames but to make your drawing perfect we need more depth. We will do this by adding two small burning flames to the side of the flame. This will give an enhanced look to the bottom part of the flame. To do this the first time, you can practice it on paper.
Starting with the outer base of the flame, carefully draw the two sides with a pointed end at the top. While it’s possible to describe them exactly as they are, don’t be afraid to change their shape a bit because fire is never the same twice! It will look good no matter what you do.
STEP 6
Now it’s time to color your flame drawing with amazing colors. One of the easiest ways to color your picture is to color the smaller shape. I recommend choosing bold yellow, orange and orange colors. If you don’t have a deep orange, mix orange with red. As shown in the figure below, the inside of the flame should be yellow and all other flames should be orange. To add texture to the picture, color the flames with a deep orange color.

Step 1: Create a diamond base
Let’s start drawing an easy rhombus with an isosceles triangle as the base shape. Create a large isosceles triangle in the center of your canvas with the pointed side facing down. This is just the basic form; we’re going to expand it to all sides, so leave plenty of space around the triangle.
Step 2: Divide the base
The bottom end of your diamond sketch will be represented by the triangle we created in the previous step. We will create a divider in the middle of this shape, which will be the starting point of the edges. Draw a vertical line in the center of your triangle. You want the line to continue slightly above the triangle.
Step 3: Create the top of the actual diamond drawing
During this phase, we will build the top part of your diamond drawing. Start by drawing a vertical line from one end of the base triangle to the other. These lines will extend up to meet the middle dividing line drawn in the previous period. To complete this stage, make a line across each of these ends to form the top rectangle.
Step 4: Create Facets for Top
You will now draw a series of shorter lines to form the sides of the top portion of the diamond that lies within the top rectangle of the diamond shape. Start at the center divider and work your way down using short lines that slant down towards the end. Make sure to check if the lines along either side of the dividing line overlap for balance.
Step 5: Create Outline of Inner Edge
You will now create a 3D design of your diamond by outlining the top edge of the diamond. Start by drawing mirrored edge lines around the center that separates the lines from the top edges you drew in the previous stage. The bottom of this top form will end a little below the midpoint in the rectangular building shape.
Step 6: Start creating Diamond Drawings in 3D Faces
During this phase, you will begin to design the faces that run through the body of the diamond drawing. Start by drawing short lines to form geometric shapes that extend from the top shape of the diamond to the sides of the triangle. Take a look at our illustration below to understand where these shapes are going.
Step 7: Additional details to the top
Now you will add some more cuts to complete the top faces of your actual diamond drawing. Make two lines going down and then out from the center of the upper rhombus to the edge of the triangle. These lines will end just before the border of the triangle. To complete this step, draw a line on each side of the top form to connect the lines you made in the previous step. This will result in a few small triangles on either side.
Step 8: Complete the above details of the diamond drawing
You can now perfect the facet forms at the top of your simple diamond drawing at this stage. Connect each line to the cutting edges of the previous step. The three sides of the rhombus will now pass through the bottom of the rectangle above the building.
Step 9: Completing Mid-Cuts
During this stage, you will need to create a few lines to link the bottoms of your diamond faces. Start by drawing a line down from the intersection of your three main rhombus faces, then connect them to the two corner lines at the lower ends of the faces. At the end of this stage, you have completed the middle cut of the diamond sketch.
Step 10: Complete the lower parts of Easy Diamond Drawing
In this stage, you’ll complete the bottom of the previous section by outlining five narrow rhombuses. Your diamond sketch should appear like the image below at the end of this stage.
Step 11: Create diamond points
Now we will finish the sides of the base of the diamond design. Start with two lines that continue down from two of the thin rhombuses of the last step, ending at the lowest point of the rhombus. Then, using a sequence of angled lines, you can create a variety of triangles.
Step 12: Now the coloring part
We start by coloring with a vivid cyan color. Fill in the form of your diamond design with this color using a standard paintbrush. Blue might seem an unusual shade for a diamond, but in the next stages we will add white to create the illusion of a gorgeous sparkling stone. Make sure the base coat is even and spotless.
Step 13: Add Highlights to Our Diamond Drawing in 3D
You will need a soft mixing brush and some white paint for this stage. Highlight about half of each part of your diamond doodle by a significant amount
Step 14: Complementary Structure Contrast
Find a slightly darker blue paint and apply a shadow to the contours of each facet with a small blending brush. You want to add definition and structure to the cuts of your diamond drawing. You don’t want the lines to be too hard, so try to soften the contrast a bit.
Step 15: Add a second color layer
This stage will require the use of darker blue paint and a bit of a soft brush. As in the previous step, use this color to trace the boundaries of each section meticulously. Focus on the bottom part of the diamond design with a darker blue color. Remember to let some of the previous color layers shine through.
Step 16: Deepen the Definition of a Diamond Drawing in 3D
In the same way as the 14th step, you can now trace the contours of each aspect using the small blending brush and paint your dark blue color. This will strengthen the structure. You should also try to get a more natural color blend in the texture lines.
Step 17: Final Step of This “How to Draw a Diamond” Tutorial
You can now erase the contours to complete your simple diamond drawing. You can easily erase the outline layer if you are using a digital graphics tablet. If you are using a physical medium, carefully paint over the design with the correct color at each border position. You should now have a completely seamless diamond design with no obvious black borders.

Hello!!! We’re going to draw…Micky Mouse!!!…Starting with a circle for his face, a smaller circle on the top of his head, and another a little lower on the left side. ..It is done !!!
Step 2
We have his head and ears, let’s draw his stomach and feet…draw another circle a little below the face to the right, an oval below this for a foot and a shape next circle with it on the left,…notice it’s under the left ear…Very good baby!!!

Now, connect the middle circle with his left foot with a line, make his shorts copy the pattern, complete the leg with parallel lines… and two cake shapes. for the sock on the shoe, don’t forget the little line on the left foot under the donut…Wow that’s awesome!!!

Now connect the tommy to the head on both sides using 2 lines, and create his right arm with 2 parallel lines, ending with the donut shape for the glove… on the tommy image, giving he has two small circles for the bottom, the one on the left is slightly larger than the other…. Awesome!!!

Now smile at Micky, make a small line right where the mouth lines join, a little bird-like line in the mouth for the tongue and end the mouth with a circle for the chin….Perfect!! !
