Step 1
Start by drawing a straight, horizontal line. Above this, draw a slightly curved line, parallel to the first line. This will form the base of the crown, the part that comes in contact with the head.
Step 2
Connect lines using short, curved lines.
Step 3
In the attached shape, draw another long line parallel to the first line. Also draw a curved line, parallel to the first line.
Step 4
From each end of the shape, extend a “?” shaping line upward – the question mark on the left will, of course, appear in reverse. Then connect these lines with a shorter curved line.
Step 5
Decorate your crown with a seashell edge. Do this by extending a short and curved line up from each end of the crown base. Then create a series of “U” shaped lines joined at sharp points between the two lines. At equal intervals, instead of a pointed end, draw a short line between the “U” shaped lines.
Step 6
Within the just enclosing shape, draw another series of “U” shaped lines. The lines will form curved triangles with the base of the crown. On each short line segment, draw a parallel line and connect the two segments using short, curved lines. From the sides of the crown, extend a straight line and three curved lines, allowing them to meet at two sharp points. These lines will form the familiar fleur de lis pattern.
Step 7
Above the center part of the crown, draw a vertical line. On each end of this line, draw a set of curves, ending with a point. From each of these curves, extend a curve to meet at a point with the line, forming a third line.
Step 8
From the fleur de lis shapes on the side of the crown, extend two sets of long, curved, parallel lines extending to the top of the crown.
Step 9
From the central fleur de lis, extend two curved lines upwards. Connect them with a line and draw a second line parallel to the first line. Connect parallel lines using short, curved lines. Above this, draw two curved lines extending upwards. Connect these lines with a horizontal line.
Step 10
Above the center of the crown, draw a circle within a circle. Extend a set of curves from each side of the circle and join the curves using scalloped curves, forming a wing shape on each side.
Step 11
Wrap another wing-like shape inside each wing.
Step 12
Enclose a triangle between each set of fleur de lis using two curved lines. Draw a small circle on top of each triangle.
Step 13
Remove any guide lines.
Step 14
Draw a diamond within a diamond on the band of the crown.
Step 15
Draw small circles around the band of the crown.
Step 16
Two two flattened ovals inside the band of the crown.
Step 17
Draw a flattened oval within an oval.
Step 18
From the triangle in the center of the fleur de lis, extend a series of connected circles, like a string of beads, to the top of the crown.
Step 19
Repeat this process on the opposite side.
Step 20
Color the crown. Throughout history, red, purple, blue, and yellow have been symbols of royalty. Now your crown is ready for a king or queen.

Step 1
Start by drawing a circle. This will form the parrot’s head

Next, outline the parrot’s body. First, extend a curved line down from the top. Round the line – imagine it forming a complete circle if it continues. This forms the parrot’s belly. Then, from the opposite side of the circle, extend a long, curved line. This outlines the parrot’s back and tail. Finally, connect the lines using a third curved line, enclosing the parrot’s tail
Step 3
Erase the guide lines separating the parrot’s head and body.
Step 4
Using a curved line, enclose a circle in front of the parrot’s head. This will complete the shape of the head. Then, use two curved lines to form a large upside down teardrop shape along the back of the bird’s body. This outlines the wings.
Step 5
At the front of the head, use three short, curved lines to enclose a curved triangle overlapping the face. This is the parrot’s beak. Clamp the half circle below the beak, using a short, curved line. This forms the lower jaw of the beak.
Step 6
Draw several rows of wavy lines across the bird’s wings, using the connected “U” shaped lines to form each layer. Do the same at the tail end. At the tips of the wings and tail, draw vertical curved lines, indicating flight feathers (learn how to draw a feather).
Step 7
Remove the guide lines from the bird face.
Step 8
Draw a set of bumpy, wavy, parallel lines across the front of the bird, passing near the base of the tail. This forms the branch the bird is sitting on. Then draw a few small protrusions from the branches. Remove guide lines if necessary.
Step 9
Add details to your parrot. Attach a few small triangles on the top of the head to represent a bunch of feathers. Draw an oval within an oval to form the eye. Draw a small circle within the smaller oval and shade around it. Draw a thick, curved line at the corner of the eye to represent the eyelashes, and a curved line above to form the eyebrows. Use a set of curved lines, joined at each end at gentle points, to form the foot. Remove guide lines if necessary. Add feather detail to the bird’s chest using “V” shaped areas of short, curved lines
Step 10
Color your parrot. The bird in our example is green, but the parrot comes in many other colors too – red, blue, yellow, gray, or a combination of colors.

Step 1:

This shark looks a lot more cartoonish than the previous one, and it shows. This pose is dynamic and fun but starts with a slightly more complicated shape to draw.
It is made up of three lines. Start with the longest back line and make sure it’s curved enough that once you add the other two, the body will become seriously bulky. We’re aiming for a healthy shark.
Step 2:
Extra fins, tail and mouth

Now to add the mouth, fins and tail. Note that most of the shapes are more rounded and exaggerated than the previous shark.
The lower fin is drawn to resemble a human arm with bulging biceps, rather than just a simple straight fin.
This is part of a cartoonish drawing style that favors dynamism through exaggeration.
Step 3:
More details

Time to add a few more details. Make sure that the other fin does not cut across the body (unlike the front fin). Doing this will create the perception, the illusion of the shark being a 3-D object.
While sharks don’t have eyebrows and certainly don’t use them for expression, we can put some makeup on for ourselves. After all, drawing is about taking what we see and putting our attraction into it.
The way the eyebrows are slanted and touching the eyes can tell us that the shark is angry and slightly malicious.
Step 4:
Sketch the fins, tail and mouth

Now we begin to track our sharks. Use a thick and soft pencil to do this. First, we draw the “arm” fin, so we know where it cuts across the body.
Next, the mouth – note that we rounded the top lip a bit, not following the sketch.
Finally, we draw the dorsal and tail fins.
You don’t have to draw the shark in this order, but we found it the easiest.

We continue to monitor the rest of the body – back and tail. Finally, we draw what is showing from the hind fin.

You may have noticed that I added the gills and teeth without outlining them first. They are very simple shapes, so unless you want to find out where they are, you won’t need to draw them first.

First, we need to outline Spider-Man’s general proportions and stance. Using an oval, outline the shape of the head. Note that the top is very similar to an upside down egg. Let’s start the drawing tutorial on how to draw a snowy owl by drawing the head in the form of a circle and the body in the form of a large oval.
Step 2
Now, use a few short straight lines to connect the head to the body. Now go to the lower part of this majestic bird and draw the silhouette of the tail.
Step 3
Then use a long smooth line to carve the edges of the wings. Then draw the feathers using short lines. Remember that you can check the symmetry of your bird drawing by looking at it in the mirror.
Step 4
Further, go to the head and draw almond shaped eyes. Then go a little lower and draw a small beak, this beak should be in the center of the face.
Step 5
Now go to the bottom part of the torso and draw the legs. You can also check the symmetry of your owl drawing by turning it upside down.
Step 6
Continue the lines from the previous stage to draw sharp toes and claws. You can depict some feathers on the bottom of the legs.
Step 7
To make the bird drawing richer and more realistic, paint textures on the feathers. Be sure to account for the curves of the owl’s body to make the artwork look more massive.
Step 8
Now, very carefully, remove all construction lines from your snowy owl drawing. Alternatively, you can darken the lines needed to make the artwork sharper.
Step 9
We paint the owl light gray, almost white. We used gray for the beak and yellow for the eyes. To give the owl a little dimension, add shadows in places where there is no light.
Try to include some extra details to make your bird painting more interesting. For example, you can draw backgrounds, some plants and animals.

Step 1
To start Caterpie, we will first need to draw a curved shape that meets at a point. This shape will be the back of Caterpie’s body.
Step 2
Next, draw two large circles for Caterpie’s head and mouth.
Step 3
Now we need to draw another big circle behind Caterpie’s head to make its back.
Step 4
Next, draw two circles on the underside of Caterpie’s body and two smaller circles inside each for its tiny legs.
Step 5
Divide the back of Caterpie’s body with some curves to create body segments.
Step 6
Now we need to draw Caterpie’s signature “Y” shaped antenna located in the center of its forehead.
Step 7
To finish him off, we’ll now draw two large circles on Caterpie’s head for his eyes and pupils, and a small oval at the tip of his tail.
