Step 1
Draw the shape of the dog’s head, then draw the body shape like an egg. Once that is done, draw the guides on the face.
Step 2
Start outlining or drawing curved lines that resemble the lining of the dog’s head, ears, then jaw and chin. Once you have the complete dog head shape, you should move on to step three.
Step 3
Now you can draw the Maltese’s body starting with the front legs, then the chest, abdomen and then the hind legs. Draw the tail and move on to step four.
Step 4
Now that the Maltese cat has a complete body shape, you can now draw the eyes, nose and mouth. Color in the eyes leaving some bright shapes, then add some simple details or strokes to the muzzle, tail and legs. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clarify the drawing.
Step 5
This is what your dog will look like when you’re all done. Now you can color and use this cute dog for your next drawing.
