How to draw an Orchid flower step by step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

Step 1:

Let’s start your orchid drawing. In the first step, we will draw an orchid flower. We will start drawing an orchid with the labellum or lips of the orchid. Paste an irregular triangle around the bottom of the column. It will envelop the flower by filling the space between its petals. Next, we will draw the column of the flower; for this we will draw a circle with a hole in the bottom around this hole and bend the lines straight down.

Below this, include an irregular shape, leaving the bottom exposed and extending parallel lines from it. If necessary, delete the instructions. Next, we will draw the throat of the flower. We draw a curved, attached irregular shape to draw the throat and make its mirror image to the opposite corner.

Step 2:

Orchid belongs to the family Orchidaceae. They are the nectar of early spring flowers to host pollinators. In the second step, we will draw the petals of a flower. Draw two curved lines at the top. Preferably opposite diagonals descending towards each other. Petals start here. Continue sketching the petals. Draw a curved line outward, then double it towards the center of the flower. Form a mirror image on each side. In this way we will draw the petals of a flower.

Step 3:

In this 3rd step, we will draw an orchid stem. Straight branches. We draw two lines and reverse them back to make the trunk. The stem of the flower provides all the minerals and materials needed for the flower.

Step 4:

In this 4th step, we will draw a leaf on the stem. Orchids have simple leaves. Orchid leaves contain a layer of vessels that help provide minerals to the leaves.

Step 5:

It’s time to color our orchid painting. Give the picture a natural look by coloring orange, purple, yellow, green, pink, red or white for the flowers and green for the leaves. I hope that children will find this drawing engaging and engaging.
