Step 1

Start by drawing a curve. This line will be the top of Pikachu’s head.

Step 2

Spread one line down from each side of your first line. Curve the lines slightly outward.

Step 3

Connect two lines with a curve. The result will look like an irregular circle.

Step 4

Draw the body using a long and curved line. This line will attach to each side of the bottom of the irregular circle.

Step 5

Draw a curve at the bottom of the body, in shape.

Delete guides from the bottom of the shape.

Draw Pikachu’s arm. For the left arm, draw an oval that overlaps the body and head. For the right arm, draw a curve that extends from the head to the middle of the body.

To form the foot, draw an open oval extending from each side of the lower body.

Detail the foot with the toes, draw two slight curves at the ends of each foot.

Now you will draw the face. Draw a circle for each eye above the cheeks. For the mouth, draw a very loose “W” in the center of the face. Connect a large “U” shaped line to the bottom of the letter “W.”
