How to Draw a Realistic Face with this how-to video and step-by-step drawing instructions. Simple drawing for kids and beginners.

How to Draw a Realistic Face step by step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

    face sketch
Start your drawing by deciding how much paper you want the face to take up. Using a ruler, draw a horizontal line at the top and bottom of your paper with two vertical lines about an inch apart on either side. In the middle, draw another horizontal line. This will form a square in the center of your paper with three horizontal and vertical lines extending beyond it.
Start drawing a rounded curved line at the top of the page, bringing the two vertical curves down to the midline. Both of these should lie just outside the outside lines of the square. From these side lines, draw a slight curve on either side of the bottom of the page, below the center square, bringing the two together at the bottom horizontal line. This midsection should be a bit flatter to form the chin.

    Step 2:

    Add ears and hairline
Draw the top of the circle inside the original curve at the top of your page. This will create a hairline for you to work on later. From here, draw a lightly dotted line about a third of the way up from the center horizontal line to mark the guide line for the top of the ear.
Draw a curved line down each side of the face until about halfway down the bottom half of the drawing (down the middle of the cheeks). Inside each ear, draw a few ovals and lines to create the inner part of the ear.

    Step 3

Mark the tutorial and start drawing eyes
On the middle horizontal line, draw five bright rectangles. Inside the second and fourth rectangles, draw an oval overlapping the midline. In each oval, draw a large circle and a small circle for the eyeballs, and a slightly curved line on each circle for the top of the eye. At the top of the guide rectangle, draw the eyebrows as a curved rectangle. Along the bottom of the guide rectangle, outline in curved lines to outline the nose with the tip resting on the bottom of the guide.
When you are learning how to draw a face, drawing the right eyes is one of the most important factors in making your drawing more realistic. Start by redrawing the circles of the eyeballs with a dark pencil to frame them before adding a lighter shade inside. After you’ve shaded the entire eyeball, erase a few small spots around the pupil to give the eyes a slightly glassy look. Add shine to the corners of your eyes to start creating a more three-dimensional look.
Take your pencil, shade around the outside of the eye around the oval and up to the bottom line of the eyebrows. Shade in different shades to create depth for the eyes. Once you’ve added this shadow, draw longer and shorter lines along the top and bottom of the eye to create the lashes.
To complete the eyes, paint very short lines in the curved rectangle of the eyebrows. Start with a much darker and darker shade at the inner corners, gradually lightening with pencil strokes as you move towards the outer edges. Since eyebrows are usually thicker near the nose, this makes your drawing more realistic.

    Step 4

    Complete the nose
Continue shading from the eye down along the center guide and the rough outline you created for the tip of the nose. Shade along the contours of the two small ovals for the nostrils. Start painting a slightly lighter shade as you move towards the center of the nose from the left side to create the shadow.
Repeat the shading on the right side of the nose and in the center, but make sure your pencil is lighter on the right than on the left to maintain the shadow you’ve created. You can also use an eraser to add a lighter line in the center of the nose to create a contrasting look with the shadows.

    Step 5

    Drawing in the lips
As you did with the nose, start redrawing the pale outline you drew earlier for the lips and teeth. Shade between the teeth with the darkest pencil you have on hand. With your next lightest pencil, start painting from the bottom of your upper lip and work your way up to the top of the lip, getting a little brighter as you shade.
Using different pencils will help you create the realistic look you’re after.
Using different pencils will help you create the realistic look you’re after.
For the lower lip, use a dark pencil to paint around the outer edges and fade as you move towards the center of the lip. You can use your eraser to help keep the center part brighter. Once the lips are completely shaded, draw short, bold lines from the center of the lips and move outwards to create the illusion of full lips.

    Step 6

    Finish the skin shadow
Start from the left side of the face and work from the outside to the center. This will help keep the shadow effect you started with on the left side of the nose. Use the darkest pencil to paint along the outer edge of the face, moving lighter as you get closer to the underside of the center of the eye. Keep the shade here until you start to reach for the existing shadow next to the nose.
Brush up to the forehead, keeping the shade bright as you move up to the outer edge above the left eyebrow. As you shade towards the hairline in the top center of your face, keep your pencil as light as possible. The middle and right part of the forehead should be some of your brightest colors to bring out the shadows that fall down the left side of the face.
Continue buffing lightly across the right side of the face, adding a little darker shade just below the center of the bottom lip. As you move up the neck, shade from left to right, keeping the shadow for about 3/4 of the neck with a small triangle of lighter shade on the right. Finally, cover the insides of the ears on both sides in both light and dark patterns to reflect where the light comes naturally.

    Step 7

Add hair to your face drawing
Finally, draw individual curves from the center of the top of the head curving down around one side of the face. The lines should be darker in the center and lighter, before darkening again along the left side of the face. You will repeat this on the right side of the face with a lighter color, drawing lines around the edges of the shoulders and face to complete your drawing.

How To Draw Paper Mario with this how-to video and step-by-step drawing instructions. Cartoon drawing tutorials for beginners and everyone.

How To Draw Paper Mario step by step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1
Draw a circle near the top as a guide for Mario’s head. First, draw four small marks for the height and width of the circle, then connect the marks with curved lines. Make a light sketch at first to make it easier to erase if you make a mistake. But circles are not necessarily perfect. It is only a guide. If you want a perfectly round shape, trace the outline of a glass, mug, or anything else that’s round.

    Step 2
Draw two intersecting lines inside the circle, one horizontal and one vertical. Curve the lines to contour the head. The vertical line should deviate slightly to the right from the center of the circle. The horizontal line should be slightly lower than the middle. These building lines will help you place Mario’s facial features later on.

    Step 3
On the left side of the head, draw a C-shaped line to guide Mario’s ears.

    Step 4
Draw another circle under the head to guide Mario’s body. This circle should be the same size as the circle for the head. Draw this circle slightly to the right of the head. Don’t draw it directly below. A very small portion of the circle at the top should be at the back of the head.

    Step 5
Draw a small circle on the left side of the body to serve as a guide for Mario’s first hand. Pay attention to the size of this circle in relation to the circle for the body. It should be about one-fifth the size. Draw two curved lines connecting the small circle to the torso to form the guide for the first arm.

    Step 6
Draw another small circle on the top, right side of the head to serve as a guide for the other hand. This circle should be the same size as the other small circle on the left side of the body. Draw two curved lines, one short and one long, connecting the circle to the body to form the guide for Mario’s other arm.

    Step 7
Draw another small circle below the body on the left side to serve as a guide for Mario’s first paw. This circle should be slightly larger than the circle of the hand. Now, draw an arc above the circle and inside the body, as a guide for the rest of the legs. Mark the height of the arc with a small line, then add curved lines on the sides.

    Step 8
Draw another circle below the previous one to serve as a guide for the other foot. This circle and the previous circle must be the same size. They should form a type 8 under the body. Draw a long line at the top, right side that connects to the body to form a guide for Mario’s other leg.

    Step 9
Draw a long, thin shape near the top of the head for the bill on Mario’s hat. The shape is basically made up of two long parallel lines connected on either side by small arcs. The bill should be close to the top edge of the circle. It should be slightly inclined like a horizontal construction line.

    Step 10
Under the hat, draw a few curved shapes as a guide for the eyebrows. Mario’s eyebrows are basically two short, overlapping curves. Do not overlap the brow lines with the lines for the bill of the hat. Eyebrows should be on the back of the bill. Use the vertical construction line as a guide to help you determine the distance between the brows.

    Step 11
Draw a curved line in the lower half of the head for Mario’s big nose. Use construction lines as a guide for placement. Sketch lightly at first to get the right shape. The end result should be similar to a wide circle or oval without the top left edge.

    Step 12
Draw a long oval under each eyebrow for Mario’s eyes. Sketch lightly at first. Only darken the lines when you put the correct position and shape. The top part of the oval should be behind the eyebrows. The lower part of the right eye should be behind the nose.

    Step 13
Inside each eye, draw a smaller oval for the iris. Draw the iris close to the left edge of the eye. The right iris is basically made up of a curved line. Inside each iris, draw an even smaller and thinner oval for Mario’s pupils. Try to draw the pupil right in the center of the iris. Shade the pupils except for a small circle at the top of each pupil to represent glare.

    Step 14
Draw Mario’s mustache under his nose using a series of curved lines. First, draw a short line on either side of the nose to define the length of the mustache. Then connect the lines with a row of short curved lines for the bottom part of the mustache. The right curves should be partially hidden by the nose. You will have a total of six small curves that make up Mario’s mustache.

    Step 15
Draw Mario’s mouth below the mustache using a series of curved lines. First draw a U-shaped line for the open mouth. Then add a smaller line inside for the tongue. Draw a smaller curved line outside of the mouth on the lower, right side for the bottom lip.

    Step 16
Draw a long curved line above the head for the top part of Mario’s hat. First draw a short line above the head to indicate how high the top of the hat will be. Then draw long curved lines on the sides that connect from the sides of the head to the top mark. The line should generally start on the left side above the ear, curve up and to the right and end on the tip of the bill.

    Step 17
Draw a curved line right on top of the bill, near the center, for the first part of the logo on Mario’s hat. The shape should be similar to an oval with the bottom part missing.

    Step 18
Draw the letter M inside the shape to finish the logo on Mario’s hat. To make the letter M bold, first draw a regular letter M with a short horizontal line on each “leg.” Then draw a smaller letter M under it to make the shape thick and bold.

    Step 19
Use the initial circle as a guide to draw the shape of Mario’s face. Follow the basic path of the edge of the circle but draw the line closer to the eye , then curve out again to create the cheek. Sketch lightly at first, and when you get the shape right, darken the lines. Draw an extra curved line under the bottom lip for the chin. Draw the lower, left side of the face but don’t darken the line above the ear.

    Step 20
Draw the sideburn under the hat’s bill and next to the ear. The sideburn should go down a bit below the horizontal construction line. The shape is made up of two vertical lines with two short curved lines at the bottom. Draw a line on the right side for the visible portion of Mario’s other sideburn.

    Step 21
Darken the C-shaped line on the left to create Mario’s ear. Draw a wavy line similar to the letter 3 inside the ear for the inner strcuture. Add a short line on the right side for the visible portion of the other ear.

    Step 22
Use the small circle to the left of the body as a guide to draw Mario’s first hand. First lightly draw a diagonal line across the circle to indicate where the folded fingers will be to form a fist. On the top right edge of the initial circle, draw a curved line for the thumb. Now draw the folded fingers as curved lines up against the diagonal line. The arcs that form the folded fingers should get smaller the lower they are. Follow the basic path of the initial circle and draw a wavy line on the left side to form the knuckles.

    Step 23
Draw a curved line within the shape of the initial circle to create the rest of Mario’s hand. This line should go from the thumb to the lowermost folded finger. Add a small line inside for a crease. Darken the initial curved lines on the right to create the shape of the arm.

    Step 24
Use the small circle at the top as a guide to draw Mario’s other hand. Draw the thumb on the top, left side as a small circle-like shape. Lightly draw a diagonal line across the circle to indicate where the folded fingers will go. Now draw a series of curved lines up against the diagonal line to form the folded fingers. The pinky should be the smallest finger and the only one that’s not hidden.

    Step 25
Follow the edge of the initial circle as you draw a wavy line at the top to create the knuckles. Continue following the path of the circle and add the opening of Mario’s glove at the bottom. Use a couple of curved lines to draw the left side of the palm and the crease inside. Darken the guide lines below the hand to create the shape of the arm.

    Step 26
Draw the overalls’ suspenders under Mario’s head using a few lines and circles. First draw a line that goes from the shoulder on the left to the guide for the leg. Then draw a small circle above the guide for the leg as the fastener. Add another line on the left for the other side of the suspender.

Draw the same shape on the upper, right side of the body for Mario’s other suspender. The shape of the suspender is similar to a very long letter U that’s tilted to the left. Draw a small circle at the bottom of the shape for the suspender’s fastener.

    Step 27
Use the shapes on the lower, left side of the body as guides to draw the first leg. Darken the arc to create the shape of Mario’s knee and leg. Darken the top half of the circle to create the pants cuff and front of the shoe. Draw two curved, parallel lines across the circle to create the bottom edge of the shoe. Darken the bottom half of the initial circle but make the shape

Color your Mario drawings with crayons, markers or even crayons! Use dark red or light brown to create shadows on the sides of the hat and shirt. Then use red on top. You can also omit the shadow and just use red for a simpler drawing.

Creating a successful Op Art work requires careful planning and attention to detail. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get you started:

    Step 1

    Choose the right vehicle
The first step in creating an Op Art work is choosing the right medium. Depending on the effect you want to create, you can choose between traditional media like drawing and painting or digital media like vector graphics and 3D software. You can even decide to combine different means to achieve the desired result.

    Step 2

    Create a basic design
Once you’ve chosen the right medium, it’s time to start sketching a basic design. Start with a simple idea and then build on it. Think about the colors, shapes, and textures you want to incorporate. You can also look to nature for inspiration or take cues from existing Op Art works. Once you’re satisfied with your basic design, move on to the next step.

    Step 3

    More colors and shapes
Now it’s time to start adding colors and shapes to your design. Consider how different colors and shapes will interact with each other and how they will contribute to the overall effect. Experiment with different combinations until you find one that works for you. Pay special attention to the balance between light and dark colors, as well as the contrast between the shapes.

How to Draw a Peregrine Falcon: All Steps
In today’s article, we will learn how to draw a falcon on paper. The position and scale of each part will be marked in each step of the guide. Note that the blue outlines are used to indicate the current sections being drawn in each step.

    Step 1

    Create a bird body
Using your pencil, draw a small inverted teardrop shape in the center of your paper. See reference drawings for instructions.

    Step 2

    Add Neck & Head
Add a small circle on the left side; that would be the head of a falcon. Then draw curved lines that will join the body as the neck.

    Step 3

Draw the beak and the eyes
The next step is to draw the beak on the bottom left of the bird’s head and the eye in the middle.

    Step 4

    Add left wing
The wings are shaped like a giant feather. Follow the demonstration on how it will look.

    Step 5

    Add right wing
The falcon’s right wing appears to be larger than the left wing due to its angle of view; the right wing is closer to us! Please add details for the feathers.

    Step 6

    Draw the tail
Having completed the wing, we can now draw the tail below the right wing.

    Step 7

    Add left foot
Before we finish drawing the line, we must first add the left foot below the body. Falcons have powerful claws to grab their prey.

    Step 8

    Draw right foot
Just copy the lines for the left foot but it should be drawn slightly behind the left foot and you are done.

    Step 9

    Finish your drawing
We can now color our falcon drawing with shades of blue, light yellow and orange.

    Step 1

I don’t know what the names of the rocket launcher parts are, but I’ll do my best to convey the object you’re drawing. Start with the barrel of the launcher like that. This is a thin, narrow tube from which the grenade is blown.

    Step 2

Now you will draw the actual structure for such a rocket launcher. Along with this design you will need to draw a pistol grip.

    Step 3

Next, add details to the handle, then draw another handle for the launcher. After all, you need two hands to operate this machine.

    Step 4

All you have to do here is draw both the front and rear sight along with the trigger.

    Step 5

At one end of the rocket launcher, all you have to pull out is the slender cone-shaped grenade.

    Step 6

Add definition lines for such a grenade, followed by details for either the handle or grip, then the metal design on the barrel.

    Step 7

Next and last, all you have to do is draw the rest of the rocket launcher design. As you can see the right end tapers out like a horn. Erase your mistakes and instructions.

    Step 8

In the end, your drawing should look like the one you see here. Color in this rocket launcher and if you like, you can show off your creation.

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

To start this tutorial on how to draw a puppy, we will start with your puppy’s face. Using the reference image as a guide, carefully draw a line with some curves in it.
The top of the head should be round with a much longer curve to the right. After you are satisfied with the look of this step.

    Step 2

Now draw a first ear for your puppy
Now that you have started drawing the puppy’s head, we can add ears to your puppy.
This puppy will have some soft, pig ears that can fold down on their own. Our left ear will be completely folded, so you won’t be able to see the inner ear of this ear.
This will be created with another very curved line that can fold on its own.

    Step 3

    Next, add the other ear
We will add the other ear in this next step. This one will also be folded and with the angle of this ear, you will be able to see a bit of the inner ear.
You can use the reference image in our tutorial to add another line that has the same curve as the previous one.

    Step 4

Give your puppy a cute face
The head and ears are done at this stage in the how to draw a puppy tutorial, so now we are going to add a cute face to your puppy. There are a few factors to face, so we’ll take it one step at a time.
Starting with the eyes, we will make them big and round to make them look cuter. They will be made up of some very curved lines for the border with some circles inside.
Mentioning reference images helps a lot so they look like examples. They will have some short curves on top to look like some cute lashes to them.
You can also use some simpler circles with dots inside for a less detailed look if you like!
Once you’ve finished drawing the eyes, you can draw the cute little nose. The lower mouth will be very curved with the mouth and tongue open. Once you’ve completed the face, it’s time to do step 6!

    Step 5

Now we will draw the back and the tail
For step 5 of this puppy drawing tutorial, we will be using another curved line going down from the head to form your puppy’s back.
You can then draw a small but curved tail to show that your cute pup is feeling happy!

    Step 6

Draw some legs for your puppy
Draw your puppy sitting comfortably on the floor, and we will show how he is sitting by drawing some legs for him in this step.
The front legs will be much straighter and they will extend with one leg from below the head and the other from the chest down.
You can then draw some cute paws at their ends as they appear in the image.
The legs at the back will be much more rounded to show that the puppy is sitting comfortably.

    Step 7

    Let’s add some final details
You’re pretty much done with your puppy drawing now, but it could still use some final details!
We’ll show you an idea of some details you can draw, but don’t be afraid to draw some patterns or other details you like!
For details, we drew a circle around the eyes as well as one on the back to give the dog character. Will you go with these or will you add some of your own?

    Step 8

Now finish it with some color
This puppy drawing tutorial is over, but before you finish your puppy you need one more thing: some pretty colors!

To start drawing you can start with a circle, it doesn’t have to be perfect, always try to draw freely rather than using some tools. Below the drawn circle, draw a half circle on the edge of the circle, then draw a third curve below these shapes.

    Step 2:

As we did in the first step, continue to draw another curved semicircle shape by shape, but be aware that the shapes will get smaller as you move towards the tail. Draw a total of 6 shapes, you can draw a few more but don’t increase it too much.

How to draw sofa step by step

    Step 1

Start by using curved lines to enclose an irregular rectangle. This forms one of the back cushions of the couch.

    Step 2

Use three curved lines to enclose the second rectangle next to the first one. This forms the remaining rear cushion.

    Step 3

Use curved lines to enclose two irregular shapes, made almost like a circular parallelogram, underneath the two cushions. These shapes form the seat cushion of the sofa.

    Step 4

Remove part of the nearby cushions to make room for the arm of the couch. Enclose a rounded rectangle, note the bulge in the top corner. Use a curved line to enclose the keyhole shape at the front, giving the couch a three-dimensional appearance. Place two small shapes between the top of the back cushion and the arms, forming the back of the sofa.

    Step 5

Draw the far arm of the couch. First, sketch a keyhole shape in front of the couch. Then, connect it to the back cushion with a straight line.

    Step 6

Use curved lines to enclose the narrow rectangles below the seat cushion, forming the front of the cushion.

    Step 7

Use curved lines to enclose a rectangle underneath one of the couch cushions. This forms ruffles in the front of the couch.

    Step 8

Use curved lines to enclose the rectangles below the rest of the cushions and the close arms. Connect their corners with a short curved line. This completes the outline of the couch.

    Step 9

Draw decorative throw pillows, erase as needed. For each pillow, place a rounded square, then detail with curved lines at its corners, sides, and center.

    Step 10

Color your couch. The couch comes in a variety of colors and patterns to suit all tastes and decor styles.

    Step 2

Use a series of connected, curved lines to outline the dog’s full furry cheeks. Connect the cheeks with a “U” shaped line, outlining the dog’s lower jaw. Then use a curved line and a “U” shaped line to enclose the dog’s open dog.

    Step 3

Erase the guides of the original circle.

    Step 4

Detail of the dog’s face. Use curved lines to enclose teeth and skip in the election. Draw a rounded, inverted triangle to indicate the nose. Set a small oval inside it and create shadows between them. Opposite the eye, draw three small circles in a row, one inside the other. The ball bounces between the two smallest to indicate the child arguing. Add dimension by drawing curved lines around the eyes.

    Step 5

Outline the ears and head. Use curved lines to outline an almost triangular shape of the ear. Notice how a financial instrument is in the middle. Then use curves to draw details inside each account. Connect the ears at the top using a series of curved lines that meet at points, forming a tuft of fur on the top of the head.

    Step 6

Draw the legs first. Use a series of curved lines that meet at the slip points to draw a shaggy chest and shoulders. Then extend a pair of public lines to outline the legs. Use overlapping “U” shaped lines to enclose the feet and toes. Then, draw a curved triangular nail at the tip of each toe.

    Step 7

Draw the remaining front leg. Use curves that meet at the slip points on the upper leg and a pair of curves for the bottom. Enclose the feet with “U” shaped lines and draw triangular claws on top of each toe.

    Step 8

Outline the dog’s muscles and hind legs. Use long, curved lines for the back, abdomen, and legs. Note the point of the ankle. Close the feet with overlapping “U” shaped lines with miniature triangles at the top. Then, use curves and lines that meet at the slide points to create body hair and appear outward quickly.

    Step 9

Extend a long, curved line from the hips to form the tail. Surround the bottom of the tail with a series of overlapping curves. Then, place curved lines over the eyes to form the eyelashes.

    Step 10

Color your activity screen. In the wild, dogs come in many colors – black, white, brown, gray, yellow, yellow and red. Some have other signs or symptoms. Creative!

Snow leopard drawing | How to draw a snow leopard step by step

How to draw a snow leopard with this how-to video and step-by-step drawing instructions. Easy animals to draw for beginners and kids.

How to draw a snow leopard

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start by drawing three evenly spaced circles. Note that one circle is smaller than the others; this will form the big cat’s head. Note, the position of the circles. The person in the middle is shorter than the others. These two larger circles will help you outline the animal’s shoulders and hips.

    Step 2

Draw a curved line on top of the small circle, outlining the leopard’s eyebrows. Then, draw rounded triangles on either side of the line, erasing if necessary. These will form the snow leopard’s ears. Next, draw a long curved line that descends from the last circle to form the tail.

    Step 3

Sketch the snow leopard function. Using a long curved line that starts outside the top circle, go into the circle and duplicate back to itself. Note the bulge of the eyebrows and upper muzzle, and the way the lower jaw opens as the line doubles back into itself.

    Step 4

Draw long, curved lines connecting the circles, forming the neck, shoulders, back, and belly. Remove the remaining guides on top from the original circle.

    Step 5

Detail of the cat’s face. Draw small curved shapes to indicate the eyes and nose.

    Step 6

Draw small circles that overlap the bottoms of the large circles at the shoulders and hips. These guides will help you create the shape of the leg. Below the body, outline flat circles on one side to aid in drawing the feet.

    Step 7

Draw pairs of curved lines connecting the small circles to the feet, forming the legs. Then, use curved lines to detail the toes on each foot.

    Step 8

Delete any remaining instruction lines. Use curved lines to outline the neck, front leg, remaining hind leg, and toes.

    Step 9

Use a long, curved line to complete the tail. Then, use curved lines to draw irregularly shaped spots all over the snow leopard’s body and stripes on its legs and tail.

    Step 10

Color your snow leopard. The snow leopard’s coat is usually white or cream with black or brown spots.
