Step 1

Start sketching chipmunk cartoon easily by sketching its cute face. Draw two short lines and place an oval section above them. These are the eyes of the chipmunk. Draw a smaller oval in each eye and shade around it.

Then draw a small inverted triangle for the nose. Draw curved lines in the shape of a “W” to form the mouth.

Step 2

Use curved lines to enclose a pentagon below the mouth. These are the large teeth of chipmunks. Then, use a series of curved lines to draw the top of the head, a tuft of fur, and the ears.

Step 3

Close a curved triangle on the opposite side of the head to form the other ear. Line both ears with a curved line.

Then, surround the chipmunk’s chubby cheeks. Using a series of curves, allow several lines to meet at hairy points.

Step 4

Draw a rounded “M” shaped line above the eye. Then outline the arms and feet. Use curved lines to outline the arm, connected at the top with small “U” shaped fingers.

Step 5

Draw an acorn in the hand of the chipmunk. Use curved lines to enclose a half circle with bulges at each end. This is the acorn cap. Extend two curved lines below the lid and let them meet at a gentle point.

Step 6

Draw a curved line on the top of the cap of the acorn and fold it in half, forming the stem. Then outline the chipmunk’s body. Use long, curved lines for the back, abdomen, and legs.

Step 7

Draw feet. Use curved lines, one of which completely encloses the contour. Define the toes with short curved lines.

Step 8

Draw the chipmunk’s bushy tail using long, curved lines that meet at points. Then, paint two short, thick lines on the back of the animal’s head. These are the first stripes of the chipmunk.

Step 9

Draw two long stripes along the chipmunk’s back and another in the middle of the tail.

Step 10

Your easy cartoon chipmunk sketch is now complete. Color your chipmunk. Most chipmunks are brown with black stripes and tan markings.
