Step 1
Start by drawing a circle for the head, then draw a square, lower body. Add lines to the face, arms, and legs. Draw a fan shape to hold it.
Step 2
Draw the shapes of the head, shoulders, arms, and hands following the shape lines in step one.
Step 3
Now start sketching the outline of the kimono plus something to hold the hair in place and ruffling down the shoulders, then draw the eyes, mouth and nose. The kimono is wrapped in a way that is the opposite of traditional funeral attire.
Step 4
This is the final drawing step where all you need to do is draw all the hair details, kimono straps. and patterns on clothes, and peach blossom is often the main pattern on clothes.
Step 5:
To complete the drawing, color it. Choose light pink to color the dark and light parts to show the depth and contrast of the painting.
