    Step 1

Attach the lotus petals to the center. To do so, use two curved lines, allowing them to meet at a sharp point at the top. The bottom should be flat or round like a teardrop shape.

    Step 2

Draw a second petal extending from one side of the first. Again, use two curved lines, meeting at a sharp point at the top.

    Step 3

Draw the third petal by extending two curved lines over the first, so that the lines meet at a sharp point.

    Step 4

Draw more petals on the back of the flower, visible between the previous petals. Again, use two lines for each, allowing them to meet in points.

    Step 5

Draw the lower petals of the flower. To do so, extend three sets of curves outward from the bottom of the flower. Allow lines to meet at points.

    Step 6

Draw more petals between the existing upper petals, using two curved lines for each.

    Step 7

Draw more lower petals emerging from the back of the flower. Then detail some of the petals by drawing lines of different lengths from their base. This adds depth to the flower.

    Step 8

Draw the anther, or pollen-producing structure inside the flower. For each anther, extend two short, parallel lines from the center of the flower. Enclose the lines by drawing a circle at the top.

    Step 9

Draw the environment of flowers. Draw a slightly curved horizon line passing behind the flower. Draw a lily pad underneath it by enclosing an irregular circle. Draw a few more lily pieces, each of which is an irregular circle like a cake with a slice from it. Detail the lily pads using short and curved lines. Then, draw wavy, horizontal lines of varying lengths around the lily to represent ripples in the water.

    Step 10

Color your lotus. In nature, lotus flowers can be white, red, pink, purple, yellow, or a combination of these colors.

    Step 1.

Outline the calyx tube of the daffodil.
First, start with the outline of the daffodil’s calyx tube. As you can see it looks like a tube.

    Step 2.

    Start sketching the daffodils petals.
In this step, we just need to outline the position of the future petals using an oval shape.

    Step 3.

Draw the outer petals of the calyx.
Once you have completed the outlines of the daffodils, draw the outline of the opening of the calyx.

    Step 4.

Draw the shapes of daffodils petals.
Draw triangles extending the circles outlining the daffodils petals. Stretching the circles into a triangle shape will later transform into beautiful petals.

    Step 5.

    Detailed view of daffodils petals.
In this step, we begin to detail the daffodil with curved strokes for the sepals and petals. The curved shape of the calyx will make the painting realistic. The curves going from the inside of the daffodils add volume to the drawing.

    Step 6.

Add stems, leaves, and shade to the daffodil drawing.
In the final step of the drawing, carefully remove any unnecessary lines. Adding dashes and lines inside and outside the calyx of different sizes and curves will add volume. As a final step, you can add stems and leaves. The long, soft lines along the leaves will help you recreate the bright grooves in the leaves.

    Drawing Academy

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Start by drawing an irregular triangle to the sides to form the upper beak. Draw a similar shape just below the upper mine to create the lower beak.
Remember, the upper tip should be larger and more pointed than the lower beak, as shown in the illustration above.
Remember that the mine should be placed on the top left of your paper. To ensure this, create reference lines by drawing an intersecting horizontal and vertical line on your paper.
This tutorial will divide your paper into four rectangular blanks. The space in the upper left corner is where you should draw the beak.

    Step 2

Draw a curved shape around the beak that we drew in the previous step. This outlines the head of the pigeon. When drawn correctly, the figure should look quite similar to a hook.
Since the pigeon faces to one side, the beak should be on the left edge of the pigeon’s head.

    Step 3

Extend the lines of the head shape by drawing an uneven oval that connects directly to the head. This creates an outline of the pigeon’s body.
Remember, use light strokes when sketching. Avoid pressing down too hard with the pencil so you can easily erase any parts of the contour later that you don’t need.

    Step 4

Draw a wide, U-shaped curve at the front of the bottom part of the pigeon’s body. Note that the U-shaped curve must have diagonal sides and a flat bottom. This forms the right leg of the pigeon.
Don’t forget to remove the border that overlaps the inside of the leg. This helps to keep the structure of the pigeon more delicate and most importantly keeps your drawing neat and orderly.

    Step 5

Repeat the previous step on the opposite side of the pigeon’s lower body.
This forms the pigeon’s left leg, which is located at the back because the pigeon is facing to the side.

    Step 6

Draw three oblongs connected with curved ends to create feathers.
These feathers must be joined together to form a rectangle on the pigeon’s lower back.

    Step 7

Draw an oval with a slightly pointed bottom on the side of the pigeon’s body. Then draw diagonal lines at the bottom of the wings to create the illusion of feathers.
This also adds texture on the wing, making it look soft and realistic.
Don’t forget to erase any lines on the pigeon’s body that overlap the inside of its wings!

    Step 8

Below the pigeon’s right foot, draw a paw with four claws.
This forms the pigeon’s right foot, as shown in the illustration above.

    Step 9

Repeat the previous step underneath the opposite leg to create the left clawed foot. At this point, both legs of the pigeon are complete.
Then draw a circle at the top of the pigeon’s head, next to the beak. This outlines the dove’s eyes.

Then draw a smaller circle inside the eye to create the pupil. Finally, add shade to the entire eye while leaving the pupil unobscured.

After completing this step, your pigeon drawing should now be complete. All that’s missing is a range of colors to make your pigeon colorful

    Step 10

For this tutorial on how to draw a Japanese flower, we will start with the first flower that will be attached to the branch on which the subsequent flowers will also be attached.
To draw this flower, we will draw five petals, and each petal will have a rounded square.

At the center of the flower there will be a small circle that will have lines extending from it. Each of these lines will have a smaller circle at the end.

Now that you’ve drawn this part of the flower, we’ll then draw some thin, angular shapes for the branch it’s attached to.
Then draw some curved leaves at the base

    Step 11

Continuing with this Japanese flower drawing, next we will add some more flowers to the branch.
The first of these flowers will be on the left, and this flower will be drawn to closely resemble the first flower you drew.

Once we’ve finished painting, we’ll add another flower, but this one will look a little different. While the previous flower was opened, this one will be closed and facing to the right.

    Step 1

Start by using a series of curved, interconnected lines to outline the round center of the flower. Then use curved lines to outline three wavy petals.

    Step 2

Complete the circuit of the five petals using wavy curves. Draw small lines inside the center of the flower to give it texture. Next, outline the petals of a nearby flower. For each petal, use a wavy curve.

    Step 3

Draw another flower, this time from a different angle. Use a wavy line to draw a circular center between the petals drawn in the previous step. Use wavy curves to outline three additional petals around the center.

Extend curved lines from the center to indicate the anthers that carry pollen grains. Draw a small oval at the end of each other. Next to the flower, stretch two curved lines and let them meet at one point, forming a leaf.

    Step 4

Use five “U” shaped lines to outline another flower above the first two. Draw more leaves below them. For each leaf, stretch two curved lines and let them meet at a point. Now, it’s starting to look like a flower garden!

    Step 5

Draw an oval in the center of the chrysanthemum outlined in the last step. Then draw leaves next to and above it. For each leaf, stretch two curved lines and let them meet at a point.

    Step 6

Turn some leaf-like shapes into the petals of another flower. Use a series of connected curves and a series of curves that meet at points to create its center and the rest of its petals. Then draw a stem with leaves extending above the flowers. Draw a long curved line for the trunk. For each leaf, stretch two curved lines and let them meet at a point.

    Step 7

Draw more leaves at the top of the stem. Draw another stem with leaves in the bottom corner of the bouquet. Sketch another daisy using a series of “U” shaped lines for the petals and an oval for the center.

    Step 8

Continue to lengthen the bottom body. Draw more leaves, and another flower with “U” shaped petals and rounded center.

    Step 9

Extend the stem with the leaves still. Then bring the drawing to life by adding animated butterflies. These simple insects can be drawn using four “U” shaped lines, with the lines of the upper wings slightly larger than the lines of the lower wings.

    Step 10

Color your beautiful cartoon pattern. Both flowers and butterflies come in a variety of colors, so get creative. Notice how we shaded the butterflies to show the narrow body and the patterns of the wings.

    Step 1

The bloom of lilac is the eruption of many small flowers. So let’s start by drawing some! For each flower, draw an oval in the center. Use “U” shaped lines to outline the four petals. Then draw a curved line down the center of each petal.

    Step 2

Draw more lilac flowers. Again, draw an oval in the center and use the “U” shaped lines to outline the four petals. Then draw a curved line down the center of each petal.

    Step 3

Draw in the lilac flowers as well. For each flower, draw an oval in the center. Use “U” shaped lines to outline the four petals. Then draw a curved line down the center of each petal. Notice how the flowers are arranged in a loose teardrop shape.

    Step 4

Draw unopened flower buds around the top of the spray bottle. For each one, draw a pinched heart shape. On some, draw a third petal by placing a curved line between the lobes of the heart shape.

    Step 5

Draw more unopened and partially opened flowers around and between the existing flowers. For some, use a heart or a heart shape with a third petal. For others, use curved lines to enclose a three-lobed shape or even outline a full four-petal flower.

    Step 6

Draw more flowers each part. Connect the existing flowers at the edge of the spray bottle using a series of connected “U” shaped lines. Draw curved stems for some buds on the outer edges.

    Step 7

Fill in the space between the flowers with a four-petaled flower section.

    Step 8

Draw the stem of the lilac flower. Sketch it using a pair of long curved lines and join them at the bottom. Draw “V” shaped lines at the top of the trunk where it splits into several branches.

    Step 9

Draw the leaves of the lilac. For each leaf, extend a curved line from the stem. Then, extend curved lines from each side of this vein. Allow them to meet at a sharp point.

    Step 10

Color your cartoon lilacs. The famous lilacs have purple flowers as their name suggests, but they also come in white, pink, and blue.

    Step 2

Draw a second flower. Draw a small circle for the center of the flower and use “U” shaped lines to enclose the petals.

    Step 3

Draw the third flower. Draw a circle to form the center of the flower. Then wrap the petals using “U” shaped lines.

    Step 4

Next, you will draw another flower – the tulip. From behind one of the first flowers, extend a pair of parallel lines to form the stem. At the end of the lines, draw a large “U” shaped line. This forms the lower part of the flower. Next, use a series of curved lines in the shape of a “W” to join the ends of the “U” around the flower. Repeat this process on the opposite side of the bouquet to draw another tulip.

    Step 5

Using a “U” and a “W” shaped line, draw another tulip that peeks behind the other flowers.

    Step 6

Next, outline the greenery or leaves of the bouquet. For each leaf, use two curved lines that meet at a point at the end. Leave the connecting leaves at the bottom, filling in the gaps between the flowers.

    Step 7

Continue drawing more overlapping leaves until the shape of the bouquet is gone. Detail some of the leaves by drawing a vein, a curved line down the center of the leaf.

    Step 8

Fill your bouquet with many smaller flowers. Draw two parallel lines for the stem and a circle for the center of the flower. Then extend a curved line to enclose the petals. Notice the wavy pattern at the end of each petal. Repeat until your bouquet is as full of flowers as you want.

    Step 9

Draw the branches of the bouquet. Extend a pair of straight lines downward, leaning toward each other. Connect lines by enclosing a flat, irregular shape. This will form the ribbon tied around the bouquet. Extend another set of lines from the ribbon and join these with a series of curved, jagged, interconnected curves.

Glue the teardrop shapes to form the bow of the ribbon, and the pairs of lines ending in a “V” shaped line to form the cut ends of the ribbon. Trunk and ribbon detail with curves

How to Draw a Daisy Flower with this how-to video and step-by-step drawing instructions. Easy drawing tutorial for beginners and everyone.

How to Draw a Daisy Flower step by step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

In the upper part of the paper, draw a perfect circle to outline the saucer in the center of the chrysanthemum.

Feel free to use the compass if you need help drawing a perfect circle. Compass is a drawing tool that allows you to draw a uniform and proportional circle quickly and easily.

To ensure that the flower will be drawn in the center, draw an intersecting horizontal and vertical line on your paper. The vertical line above the horizontal is where you should draw the circle.

Starting at the top of the paper, you have enough space to draw the entire flower along with its parts, including the stem and leaves.

    Step 2

    Draw Daisy’s First Three Petals
Draw three long, narrow ovals in the upper left of the circle we drew earlier.

Remember that the bottom end of the petals are not visible as they are directly connected to the disc in the center of the daisy.

    Step 3

    Then draw three more petals
Repeat the previous step and draw three more petals right next to the ones we drew earlier.

Make sure that the petals are even and of an even shape.

    Step 4

Complete all the petals of Daisy
Continue to repeat the previous step and draw petals around the plate until all ten of your chrysanthemum petals are complete.

Now, watch when your daisies are in full bloom! Look how beautiful it is!

    Step 5

Then add a stem below Daisy
Now that we have successfully drawn the flower, it’s time to draw the stem.

Just below the flower that we drew in the previous step, draw two parallel vertical lines to create the stem. Lines should be long, extending all the way to the bottom of your paper.

You can use a ruler to help you draw straight lines quickly and easily. Using this drawing tool will help ensure that your trunk is vertical and symmetrical.

    Step 6

Draw a leaf attached to the stem
Draw a leaf on the left side of the stem.

The leaf can be created by drawing two connected curves. Both ends of the leaf should be pointed.

    Step 7

How To Draw A Flower Crown with this how-to video and step-by-step drawing instructions. Easy drawing tutorial for beginners and kids.

How To Draw A Flower Crown Easy Step By Step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

As you can imagine, we’ll be drawing several flowers in this flower crown tutorial! With that in mind, we’ll start this tutorial by drawing some flowers.

All these flowers will have the same design, and to draw it we will start with a circle. The circle doesn’t have to be perfect, so feel free to draw it!

Once you have that circle, use some curved lines around it for the petals and add an inner line of each circle.

Then we’ll add some more curves to the leaves next to it and then you can draw another flower that’s a bit thinner due to the angle.

    Step 2

Next, draw some more flowers for the crown
We will continue to add some more flowers in this part of your flower crown drawing. First, you can draw another flower that looks very similar to the previous flower to the left of that flower.

This one will also have some leaves on the side, and you can leave a small space on the petal on the bottom left.

That’s because another flower will overlap it later. We will also add a new element in this step.

This element will be a small stem with lots of small leaves on it, so just use a slight curve with lots of little circles on it for some of these stems.

Then move on to step 3!

    Step 3

Draw the strip of the flower crown
The flowers on the flower crown will always be attached to some kind of headband so it can sit on your head without falling off.

We’ll draw that strip in this step of the flower crown tutorial.

You can draw this using two closely spaced curved lines extending from the leaves on the right hand side of the crown.

There will be a gap on the left side of the strip, as more flowers will be attached there in a future step.

    Step 4

Now draw another flower for the crown
We will continue to add to your floral crown drawing in this fourth step. To do this, all you need to do is add one of those flowers to the left of the crown.

This flower will also have some leaves next to it like the other flowers did. Once you’ve finished drawing that flower and the accompanying leaves, we can finalize the details in the next step!

    Step 5

    Finish your flower crown drawing
Our fifth step on how to draw a flower crown will perfect the final details and elements of the image.

There’s only a small space between the ribbon and the last flower you drew in the last step, so you can finish by painting some more leaves and buds.

How To Draw A Peony Flower Easy Step By Step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Peonies are made up of many different layers of petals, and we’ll build on these layers in this how to draw peony tutorial.

If you find yourself messing around with details, you may find it easier to draw with a pencil before redrawing with a pen at the end.

First, draw the top petals of the flower. Some of these petals will overlap, as you can see in the reference image.

Once you’ve drawn these petals, you’re ready for the next step!

    Step 2

    Continue building layers of peonies
As we mentioned in the previous step, we will build your peony drawing layer by layer. For this step, you can draw the bulky center of the flower.

Then you will draw some petals on the sides and below the center of the flower.

As you can see in the reference image, these petals will be wavy with some lines on them as well as some texture detail.

    Step 3

Now you can draw some larger petals at the base of the peony
In this step of our peony drawing tutorial you will see you add more petals to the layers of the flower.

For this part, you’ll draw some larger, flowing petals below the flower near the base. These petals will also be one of the largest petals you’ve drawn so far in this tutorial.

    Step 4

Next, draw the stem and more petals
You’ll be drawing the long stem of the flower in this step, but first we have some petals to add to your peony drawing.

First, add some large, drooping petals underneath the flower. Once you’ve drawn these petals, you can then start drawing the body.

It should be long and fairly straight with only a few edges and bumps. Remember to leave some space near the top of the stem as you will draw a leaf there in the next step.

    Step 5

Now you can add some leaves to the flower
It’s almost time to add some pretty colors to our peony tutorial, but before that, we just have a few more details to add!

First, you will fill in the space you have left on the stem by drawing a large leaf. You can then add another leaf below the petal and above the other.

That should wrap up all the elements of this peony tutorial, but before moving on to the final step, you should make sure to add any details of your own!

You can draw a beautiful garden as the background.

If you’ve already done this, then you can paint some more peony variations or fill it with your favorite flowers!

There are lots of ways you can put your own spin on this painting, so make sure to let your creativity run wild. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

    Step 6

Complete your peony painting with some colors
You’ve worked hard and finished your peony painting, so now it’s time to relax with some pretty colors!

How to draw an orchid step by step | flower drawing easy

How to draw an orchid with this how-to video and step-by-step drawing instructions. Easy drawing tutorial for beginners and kids.

How to draw an orchid step by step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

To begin this tutorial on how to draw an orchid, we’ll start by drawing some small, self-contained buds attached to the flower.

The buds will be quite small and round in shape, and they will have lines going inwards to show that they have folded in on themselves.

You can then draw some thin lines for the stem to which the bud is attached to finish this step.

    Step 2

Draw some more buds for the orchid
Now that you’ve drawn a few buds for your orchid drawing, you should have no trouble drawing a few more! In this step we will add three more buds to the stem.

As you can see in the reference image, these will be slightly larger than the ones you drew earlier. The stem to which they are attached will also get a little thicker as it goes on.

    Step 3

    Next, draw the first orchid
We drew several buds for this orchid tutorial, but for this next part we will draw the orchid flowers first.

The orchid is made up of several large, flowing petals surrounding a rather intricate structure in the center. You may find it easier to start with that central structure and then draw the petals that connect to it.

The image will guide you through how these petals should look and if you find yourself struggling a bit you can use a pencil to start and then use the pen when you’re happy with it.

Once you’re satisfied with how your orchid looks, you’re ready to move on!

    Step 4

Draw a second orchid for the picture
This step of your orchid drawing will see you add another flower, however, even though you have drawn one flower, one will not exactly repeat the other.
First, you can draw some more lines from the first orchid to which the second one will be attached.

Then you will draw a second flower on that stem. It will be similar to the first image, but it will be directly facing us, so some of the shapes will be a little different.

The reference image will definitely guide you as you draw, so be sure to refer back to it!

    Step 5

Now you can add some more buds to your drawing
We will be going in circles in this fifth step of the how to draw an orchid tutorial. We start by drawing some buds for the picture and we will finish doing the same for this part before the final step. To do this, we will add five more buds of different lengths above the orchid you just drew.

Once you have these buds, you’re ready for the final step! However, this is your drawing, and that means you can put some of your own finishing touches on it if you want.

These can be as simple as adding more buds, or as complex as adding a whole new orchid next to this bud. You can also paint a beautiful garden background and this would be a great way to add more of your favorite flowers to this picture.

These are just a few ideas, but what else could you think of to complete this amazing orchid drawing?

    Step 6

Complete your orchid painting with some colors
You have reached the last step of drawing orchids and this step is going to be fun! In this section you can add some nice colors to really complete this picture.
