Step 1
Start by drawing a circle. This will form the head of the duck.
Step 2
Drag a long, curved line from the bottom of the circle to form the duckling’s neck, chest, and belly. Extend a shorter, curved line from the circle to form the nape.
Step 3
Use a series of curved lines to outline the duckling’s wings. Notice how the top of the wing consists of a single curve, while the bottom of the wing is a scalloped pattern of joined “U” shaped lines. It should also be noted that the wing is not completely enclosed when it is attached to the fuselage.
Step 4
Detail the wings with a feather texture by drawing a series of connected “U” shaped lines. Then, using a few long curves and some short curves, draw the tail, enclosing the duck’s body.
Step 5
Draw the beak using curved lines. Notice the bulge at the tip of the beak and how the top and bottom of the beak overlap. Attach a curved triangle on the lower part of the beak to indicate an open mouth.
Step 6
Remove the guides from the mine.
Step 7
Draw baby propeller. Use parallel curved lines to draw the legs, then outline a “W” shape at the bottom to enclose the toes. Draw a curved line between each toe to represent the part of the net that helps the duck swim.
Step 8
Use curved lines to outline the rest of the leg and foot. Notice the overlap of the lines at the flex of the ankle and the line separating the individual toes.
Step 9
View your duckling details. Draw a small oval on the beak to indicate the nostrils. Draw a large circle for the eye, with a small oval inside it. Shade between the two rows and draw short, curved lines on top of the eyes to represent the lashes. Glue a curved and pointed line above the eye for the eyebrows and draw a tuft of hair on the top of the head using a series of short, curved lines that meet at sharp points. Remove the guide lines if necessary. Finally, detail the body with flares at the neck and side of the wings.
Step 10
Color your duckling. Many are depicted in bright yellow, as in our example. However, ducklings can also be white, gray, brown, black, spotted or striped.

Step 1
We’ll be creating a really cute wolf cartoon in this tutorial, so let’s start with the head outline.
Although we only sketched part of the wolf, there is still a lot of detail to be included here.
In general, the head is quite round, but the snout and mouth will protrude slightly. The ears will also be quite large compared to the rest of the head.
The outline of the head will have some curved and pointed protrusions to make the head look nice and hairy.
Finish with a gaping mouth to reveal a few sharp teeth, and then we’ll move on to the next step!
Step 2
Now draw the eyes and other details on the face
For the second step of our tutorial on how to draw a cartoon wolf, we will add some more facial details to this adorable wolf.
We’ll start with the eyes, and as you can see in the reference image, they’re big and expressive.
They will be contained within several large ovals and the eyes themselves will be drawn using a combination of circles and ovals.
Then the nose will be drawn using a rounded triangle, and we will end up with some curves on the face leading to the ear on the right.
Step 3
Next, draw the back and the first paws
We have now finished the head and face, and in this step we will add the back part and first paws to this cute wolf! The back of the wolf will be drawn with a simple inward curving line near the head.
The leg will then be drawn using some curved lines that join together to make it look hairy.
Then you can add feet, and by sitting the wolf will make it so you can see the bottom of the foot.
It will have a round pad on the sole and four connected round toes. Finish this step with a curved and pointed tail, then we can move on to step 4!
Step 4
Now draw more legs and feet
Now we will add more legs and feet to your wolf cartoon. First, we will extend a slight curve from the bottom of the mouth.
This will then attach to many interconnected round toes. Finally, draw another curved line from the front leg, and then draw another leg.
This time, we won’t see the underside of the foot, but it will have some similar-looking rounded toes.
Then we’ll add some details and final content in the next step of the tutorial when you’re ready!
Step 5
Add final details to your drawing
This step of our how to draw a cartoon wolf tutorial is to perfect some final details before we color it in the final step!
First, we’ll fill the gap in the chest by adding another leg. This will be drawn with some curved lines with the pointed ends extending out, and then we will draw some small rounded toes at the end.
Finally, draw some jagged lines near the tip of the tail, and then you’re done!
Once you’ve completed these final details, you can also add some of your own.
You can try some ideas like drawing a fun background or maybe add some animal friends for him to play with.

Step 1
Starting at the top right part of the paper, draw two triangular cat ears connected by a downward curved line. This figure outlines the kitten’s ears as well as the top of the head.
To ensure that the outline will be placed in the proper position, draw a horizontal and a vertical line on the paper to create reference lines. When drawn correctly, the guide will divide your paper into four square dividers. The empty space in the upper right corner is where you should draw the outline.
By starting from the top right part of the paper, you have enough space to draw the kitten’s entire face and body.
Step 2
Sketching a kitten’s face
Extend the lines from below the ears down to the kitten’s chin. The kitten’s face shape should be slightly wider at the button than at the top to accentuate its chubby cheeks.
Don’t forget to add spiky tufts of hair on each side of the face!
Step 3
Then draw the kitten’s front paws
Just below the kitten’s face, draw the front paws side by side. As shown in the illustration, you can draw the front legs by drawing overlapping curved lines below the face.
Emphasize the fur on the kitten’s chest area to make the kitten look more fluffy and voluminous!
Step 4
Drawing the Bottom of the Kitten’s Body
Draw a downward curved line to outline the back and bottom of the kitten. The back should be structured downward, while the bottom should be bent like a semicircle.
When drawn correctly, the outline will resemble a downward sloping line so that the kitten looks like it is sitting down.
Step 5
Next, draw the kitten’s hind legs
Draw another curved line opposite the bottom of the kitten to outline the thighs. Then, draw a paw with your paw just below the kitten’s bent thigh.
Don’t forget to add lines on the kitten’s paws to create a division between its claws.
Step 6
Then draw the kitten’s tail
On the bottom part of the kitten’s body, draw a long, fluffy tail. As you can see in the illustration, the tail is as simple as drawing a curved sausage.
However, you can draw the tail any way you like. You can make it as hairy as you want by adding large tufts of feathers that stick out all over the tail.
Step 7
Outline of a kitten’s inner ear
Inside the kitten’s ear that we drew in the first step, let’s draw a triangle following the contour.
This will outline the inside of the ears, thus making the kitten’s body features look more likeable and realistic.
Step 8
Now, Draw the Kitten’s Nose and Mouth
On the bottom part of the face, draw an upside down triangle in the center to create the kitten’s nose.
Then, draw two curved lines just below the nose to outline the mouth. The kitten’s mouth should look like a curved letter “w”.
Step 9
Then draw the kitten’s eyes
Just above the nose, draw two vertical ovals slightly apart.
Then, inside the eyes, draw two other small ovals. Apply shadow on the sides of the eyes from the small dots inside the eyes to create a lovely “sparkling eye” effect.
Don’t hesitate to add any facial features that you think look great. You can even add eyelashes and beards if you like!
Finally, here’s the fun part — coloring your amazing drawing! This is the part where you can show your artistic talent and ability to mix and match different colors.

Step 1
We will get this tutorial on how to draw a cute chicken starting with this little chick’s head. First, use some circles for the outline of the head.
The line on the left will be drawn as two bumps while the line on the right will be a single circle.
Then you can extend a slightly curved line up from the front of the head. This will be the time to start greeting this chicken.
Finally, draw a small and pointed shape for the beak of the chicken, and then we can move on to step 2 of the tutorial!
Step 2
Now draw the rest of the crest on the top of the chicken’s head
To continue how to draw this cute chicken, we will now draw the crest on the top of the head. You started this in the previous step and now you can finish it.
You can do this by drawing three circles on the top of the head to form the crest bulges.

Step 1
There are some pretty intricate details in this mermaid picture, so to make things easier, I’m going to take things slow and break it down into smaller steps.
For the first part of the mermaid drawing tutorial, we will start with the mermaid’s face.
To draw the face, start with a sharp curve ending at a small point as you can see in the reference image.
Once you have that line in place, just add two squat shapes on either side for the ears.
Step 2
Now draw some details on the face and neck
The details on the mermaid’s face may look complicated, but it’s all made up of pretty simple lines! The eyes are drawn with two small, curved lines, with a smaller, more angular line for the nose.
Then, give her a slight smile with a curve under her nose.
Once you have the face, add a neck to your mermaid drawing and paint some details for the ears.
For small details like these, it’s best to use a fine tip pen or a very sharp pencil to make drawing details easier.
Step 3
Next we’ll give your mermaid some hair
Mermaids are almost always depicted with long silky hair, and this mermaid is no exception.
First, use two lines on the top of the face to create a section of hair. Then draw two lines going down from above towards the position of the shoulders.
Once you have it like in the reference image, we can move on to step 4.
Step 4
Now let’s start with the arms and body
For step 4 of the how to draw mermaid tutorial, we will tackle your mermaid’s arms and chest. For this step, carefully refer to the reference image will help a lot!
The arm should extend straight out from where the neckline ends. They will be in a comfortable position to suggest that she is lazily floating in the water.
Once you’ve used some curves to draw her arms, you can draw seashells for her bikini top.
Step 5
Let’s add a belt and more hair

Step 1
To start this pig drawing tutorial, we will draw in some shapes to make it easier for you to draw the pig later on.
Using the reference image as a guide, we’ll draw three intersecting ovals.
For this step, you should use a lighter pencil to draw these shapes, as we will erase them later.
This step will be much easier if you use a drawing compass to create the ovals. This first step will certainly be made easier if you follow the provided image closely.
Once you’ve drawn the oval, you can curve it through the top two ovals as shown in the image.
Step 2
Next, draw the pig’s head
Once you’ve drawn the pencil shapes, you can start contouring your pig drawing.
Using the ovals you drew earlier as a guide, you can carefully draw in the head and ears. The ovals you’ve drawn will help keep the pig’s head in the correct shape.
I recommend not applying the pencil lines until after the next step, as we will be using the other oval you drew as a guide for the body.
Step 3
Now, draw in the body of the pig
For this step in our tutorial on how to draw a pig, we’ll use the other oval you drew as a guide.
You can scan through most of it with the pen, leaving a gap at the bottom where the pins will go through.
Once you’re satisfied with the head and body of the pig drawing, you can erase the ovals you drew in step 1.
If you are using a brush on top of a pencil, make sure the ink is dry before you start erasing! If you start erasing too soon, you could smudge the ink if it gets a little wet.
Step 4
Next we will draw the legs and tail
In the next step of the tutorial on how to draw a pig, we will add some legs and a tail. This pig will have some cute, chubby legs, so when you add them they will be very short and stout.
Once the pins have been drawn in, you can add a bit of a corkscrew using some simple curves as shown in the image.
Step 5
Now we will draw your pig’s face
Now your pig drawing is almost done, and it needs a cute face!
The reference image we provided has a happy face for your piglet, so you can try to recreate it using some ovals, circles and curves.
For this step, you can also change some elements for a unique look. For example, you can change your pig’s facial expression by changing details like the eyes, eyebrows, and mouth.
There’s definitely a lot of room for you to get creative with it!
Step 6
Now finish it with some color
At this point, you have successfully drawn a cute pig picture! This is an achievement, but your pig drawing is not done yet.

Step 1
There are only four simple drawing steps and one line drawing step. Start by drawing a few shapes that will all be round as shown here. One for the head, one for the body and one for the end. After these shapes are drawn, you can tie them together by drawing a neckline. The body shapes should be drawn together. Finally, draw the leg lines, then the lining for the mane and tail.
Step 2
Start out sketching Ponyta’s face or pony head shape, and when you’re done, be sure to incorporate the ear shapes and then the high flaming mane.
Step 3
Add details to the inside of the ear, then draw an almond-shaped eye and color it. Next, draw the back of the neck, then continue to draw the lining to form the arch of the back and buttocks. Next and last, draw the chest and front legs. Don’t forget to flare out the mane too as you see here, and add one more nostril.
Step 4
All you need to do now is draw the rest of the legs, and then draw the belly. Once done, outline the hooves, and draw flames on the back of the front and hind legs, and down the back and tail. Erase the principles and shapes you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.

Let us start as we usually do, and that’s with the basic instructions and shapes. The shapes you will draw are for the head and body. Once done, you can add guides for the neck, legs, and tail.
Step 2
Next, we will focus on drawing the shape of the pheasant’s head and beak. The head rotates so that the bird looks past it back. The top primer should be thick enough to make the makeup as short as a feather.
Step 3
Sketch along the strip of hair at the base of the neck, then draw an outline around the eyes. Also add some scratches on the lower part of the neck and details around the inside of the eyes.
Step 4
Now it’s time to sketch the body. Start at the bottom of the neck and draw an egg-like shape for the pheasant’s body. Once done, draw the pheasant’s tail feathers long, thick, and layered. The hind thighs are ruffled from the shorter hairs.

The beak has a slight curve in the upper part; I also drew a nostril and darkened the top of the note.
Eyes are relatively small. A thin stripe passes through the eye area, from the beak to the back of the head; This feature is specific to women.

A duck’s wings may look heterogeneous, as if it were composed of layers or segments with their own buoyancy. I create a model that mimics classes.

I tweaked the bottom part of the wing, adding a new element called the speculum. It is an area of black fur bordered by white or iridescent blue; Both sexes have this trait.
A platypus is prominent in flight or at rest but temporarily sheds during the summer’s annual molt. However, sometimes these bright feathers cannot be seen when the wings are folded.

I refined the contours of the wing layers, creating the illusion of volume. Wings can look finer or smoother, depending on many factors; Patterns and colors may also be slightly different.
By the way, all ducks have waterproof feathers!

Female mallards are mostly spotted. The individual feathers often exhibit a sharp contrast from dark yellow to very dark brown. I imitated this pattern, using an HB pencil.
I also applied eye shadow, leaving a small highlight, and creating a matte shadow. The back and top of the head are relatively dark. Remember the stripe near the eyes — it’s also dark

I increased the contrast in my artboard, applied another fill layer to the darker areas, using the 3B pencil.

You may be wondering what color this duckling would be. I’ve digitally painted the top of this sketch, just to show you an example.
As you can see, the color changes from beige, yellow and orange to a darker brown.

Step 1
Start by drawing a circle to outline the fruit.

Draw the stem of the orange, erasing as needed. Draw a cylinder with a smaller cylinder protruding from one side. Don’t forget the little ovals in the tips.

Draw a leaf protruding from the stem. Sketch the leaf using two curved lines that meet at a point. Draw a curved line down the center of the leaf to form the central vein. Then, draw short, curved lines extending from the vein, forming smaller veins.
Step 4
Orange texture. Draw curved lines extending from the base of the trunk. Then draw dots all over the surface of the orange.
Step 5
Erase part of the orange and draw an oval over it. This will become the second orange.
Step 6
Draw a scalloped oval in the first oval. Create a scalloped line from many interconnected curves. This indicates the position where the orange peel comes into contact with the flesh of the fruit in an open cross-section.
Step 7
Use a series of curved, interconnected lines to enclose an irregular shape in the center of the orange. Then draw curved lines extending from the center. This is where the orange sections, or carpels, meet.

Color your orange. What color should it be? Orange of course! Unripe oranges are green and blood oranges are red.

Step 1
In this first step of the apple tutorial, we won’t actually start from the final drawing.
When drawing shapes consisting of specific shapes, it can be very helpful to use the basic shapes as a guide before starting to draw the final shape.
For this step you should use a light pencil to draw the two intersecting ovals you can see in our reference image.
These two ovals will be incredibly helpful in your next apple step!
Step 2
Draw along the outline of your apple
For this apple drawing, you will start drawing the outline of the apple. Using the two ovals that you drew in the previous step, carefully trace the outline as it appears in the reference image we have in this tutorial.
I still recommend using a pencil for the final contour, but once it looks good to you you can rewrite it with a pen.
Once you’ve drawn the outline with your pen, you can erase the pencil lines underneath, but be sure to let the ink dry properly before erasing, as you could smudge the ink otherwise!
Step 3
Next, draw a stalk for your apple
The hardest part of this apple drawing tutorial is already behind you, so from this step onwards I will add some details and final elements.
In this step, we will add a stem to the top of your apple.
The trunk we have in our example is nice and thick, so you can duplicate it for your own drawing or make it a bit smaller if you want.
Once satisfied with the look and feel of the trunk, you can move on to step 4.
Step 4
Now add a leaf to your apple
Time to add more detail to your apple drawing! In this step we will draw a leaf for your apple.
This should happen on the right side of the trunk from the previous step, and if it looks a bit empty now, don’t worry! We will add some details to it in the next step.
Step 5
Next, draw some final details for your apple
The second to last step of our how to draw an apple tutorial is to add some final details to bring it all together. In our tutorial, we finished off with some of the textured details on the leaf that you drew in step 4.
With that added in, you’ve got a nice drawing of the apple, but you can go into more detail if you want!
You can draw several things to add to this drawing and there is no limit to the creative ideas you can use.
Some examples could be having a cute worm emerge from the apple to say hello or something more subtle like some white squares to represent the light reflected from the apple.
You can also draw some other elements, such as the apple platter, and if you’re feeling ambitious you can draw other fruits to make it a proper still life!

Step 1
Start drawing the hawk’s head. Draw a letter “U” upside down. In the top left corner, add a small spiked pin. The mine’s score just went down.
Step 2
Draw big round eyes just behind the beak. Add a short thread under the beak to make the mouth. There is a curve from the left of the “U” on the left almost to the right.
Step 3
Next draw a long curved line down the back. It starts at the top right and curves outward and slightly at the bottom.
Step 4
From the bottom of the line the top left depicts the belly curving down with a small bump at the bottom for the legs. Now add the wings. Start just below the head and the wings curve sharply near the ventral line and down at an angle along the ventral line. The lower part of the wings extends below the back. It then bends up to join the following line.
Step 5
At the bottom of the abdomen on the abdomen withdraw the claws at the legs. The forelegs have two sharp claws in the front and one sharp claw in the back. The other leg is slightly behind the first leg. Add a claw to the back of the foot. At the bottom of the wings add some long tail feathers. The jagged roads combined with the back roads.
Step 6
Finally draw two lines to create branches for the hawk to perch.

Step 1
Start by drawing a circle to outline the shape of the watermelon.
Step 2
Use curved lines to outline a “T” shape extending from the top of the watermelon. Remove the guide lines if necessary. This forms the stalk of the watermelon.
Step 3
Draw two sets of wavy lines extending down from the trunk. Let one slice reach the opposite side of the watermelon. For the other pair, allow the lines to meet at a sharp point. They form the first of the typical watermelon stripes.
Step 4
Draw two more stripes. Extend one line from the stem of the melon, the other up from the bottom of the melon. Allow each section to end with a pointed end.
Step 5
Draw more horizontal stripes on the watermelon, filling in the blanks.
Step 6
Next, you will draw a cut watermelon. Draw a wide “U” shaped line, so that it overlaps the finished watermelon. Then, connect the ends of the “U” with a straight line.
Step 7
Give the slice a three-dimensional shape by drawing a curved line from one corner of the shape to the bottom of the shape.
Step 8
Erase the guide lines from the back of the watermelon.
Step 9
View the inner details of the slice. Draw a curved line parallel to the original “U” shaped line. This separates the green and unflavored skin from the sweet persimmon. Then, withdraw the seeds. Use a teardrop shape for each bead. Notice how the beads are placed in a circle, with the pointed end of the teardrop facing the center.
Step 10
Color your watermelon. The outside of the watermelon is usually striped green. The central part of the melon is usually pink, red, orange or yellow.
