Step 1
Begin sketching Fred Flintstone by using a curved line to outline his large nose. Above the nose, surrounds the partially oval eyes. Shade a smaller oval inside each eye.

Use a curved line for one side of Fred’s face and a series of curved lines meeting at points to draw the curved triangle of his open mouth. Detail the corners of the mouth, tongue, and opposite side of the mouth using curved lines.
Step 3
Use a series of long, curved lines that meet in gentle points to enclose the irregular star shape of Fred’s hair. Draw a “V” shaped line on top and connect the hair to the nose using a curved line. Use two curved lines for the eyebrows.
Step 4
Draw a rounded triangle below the mouth to form the tie’s knot. Use a curved line, doubled over itself, to sketch the tie around the neck. Then, use curved lines for the back of Fred’s head, the “V” shaped ears, the five o’clock shadow around his mouth, and the outline under his eyes.
Step 5

Extend the lines even further. Then, draw another set of lines that diverge at a diagonal angle. Connect them at the end using a short straight line. This continues the outline of the shield-like logo.

Use long and short lines to draw another “L” shape, a mirror image of the first. Thus begins the opposite side of the Justice League shield.

Extend the straight lines of the open end of the “L” shape. Extend another pair of lines at a diagonal angle, creating a mirror image of the opposite side. Connect the lines with a short straight line.

Draw a series of straight lines. Note the different lengths and horizontal, diagonal, and vertical directions. This starts with the letter “J” for “Justice”.

Draw a straight line downward from the top of the letter “J.” In the middle of the letter, use short straight lines to draw half of a five-pointed star. Then, continue straight down.

Use straight lines to create the hook of the letter “J,” like the bottom of the letter “O.” Notice how the bottom corners are rounded.
Step 8
Draw lines parallel to the edge of the letter “J,” with short lines completing the outline of the star.
Step 9
Use straight lines to complete the outline of the letter “L” for “League.”
Step 10
Color the cartoon like the shield of the Justice League logo. This symbol is usually gray in color and resembles a metal or stone shield.
