How to Draw Krampus step by step – Krampus for Christmas Eve

How to draw Krampus with this how-to video and step-by-step drawing instructions. Simple drawing for kids and beginners.

How to draw Krampus step by step

Please see the drawing tutorial in the video below

You can refer to the simple step-by-step drawing guide below

    Step 1

Draw eyes, nose, mouth and eyebrows. The eyes are just a narrow slit for the pupil. Keep all the features close together to get that nasty, nasty look for your ultimate Krampus.

    Step 2

Add in Krampus’ pointed ears, shaggy beard and high cheekbones. Make the beard pointy and use the line of the lower lip as an anchor point where the beard will start.

    Step 3

Add curling horns and coarse hair. Dot as many points as you like on the frizzy hair, but leave the horns on for the time being. We will add more details later!

    Step 4

Draw Krampus’ arms, shoulders, and hands. Take your time on your hands, as they can be quite tricky, and use the Krampus crate’s straps to locate his chest.

    Step 5

Using those backpack-looking straps, draw the rest of Krampus’ hairy lower body, leaving the rough, shaggy end around where his knees should be. We will add the pins in the next step.

    Step 6

Krampus have the legs and hooves of a goat, so exaggerate their angle of bend far beyond what you can see in a human. Be sure to lock in the signature split hooves!

    Step 7

In this drawing, Krampus’ sack looks more like a barrel. Keep the lines straight to give some perspective and warp the bands that outline the top and bottom.

    Step 8

It wouldn’t be Krampus without a bunch of sticks to hit naughty kids. All sticks must be held together, but you are free to make them look as gnarly as you want. And draw a chain link between the two hands.

    Step 9

Add details along Krampus’ horns, feathers and whiskers. Just a few lines here will really deepen the look of the finished cartoon and make it look more realistic raw!

    Step 10

Glide through your finished Krampus! If there are any edits or adjustments you want to make, do it now! If not, color your Christmas demon

    Step 2

Connect the ovals at the bottom using a curved line, while also sketching the alligator neck. Use a series of short curved lines to detail the top of the alligator’s head in a smaller oval. Note the larger curves that form the alligator’s eye ridges.

    Step 3

Use small, overlapping curves to form the top of the alligator’s snout and a wavy line to form its bottom. Then, use a long, curved line to outline the bottom half of the alligator’s jaw.

    Step 4

Extend two long curved lines from the larger oval to form the alligator tail. Notice that the lines meet at a sharp point.

    Step 5

Extend another pair of curved lines from the tip and side of the tail, allowing the lines to meet at a sharp point. This forms a bend in the tail and gives it a three-dimensional appearance.

    Step 6

Draw legs. Use curved lines to outline shoulders and hips, as well as bent knees. Enclose the foot using “U” shaped lines to form the toes. At the tip of each toe, draw and paint a small triangle, representing the claws. Erase the paths left by the original ovals.

    Step 7

Detail of the crocodile’s face. Use a long, curved line to enclose the mouth. In the mouth, enclose an irregular shape to form the tongue. Draw a line down the center of the tongue and draw four triangular teeth. Use curved lines to detail the nostrils, the corners of the mouth, and the top of the muzzle. Enclose a circle for each eye. Draw a circle to form the pupil and a smaller circle inside it. Ball between two circles.

    Step 2

Complete the Gundam head outline. Use straight lines to enclose a large “V” shape above the face. Enclose an inverted pentagon at its center and give it a three-dimensional appearance using a “Y” shaped line Use straight and curved lines to draw rectangles on each side of the face. Ball four small squares inside each. Connect the “V” to the visor and the sides of the face using curved lines.

    Step 3

Use straight lines to enclose the two trapezoids partially at the center of the “V.” Draw a small circle on each side of the head and paint a smaller circle inside it. Then start outlining the chest and shoulders. Use straight lines to outline the trapezoidal neck, boxy chest, cubic shoulders, and tops of the arms.

    Step 3
