    Step 1

    Drawing rocks
    Draw the stone by forming oblong circles of different sizes as shown.

    Step 2

    Add coral
    Add coral by creating thin stick-like shapes that branch out into more stick-like shapes similar to the illustration.

    Step 3

    Create sponges
    First let’s sketch the long tubular shape of the sponge. Next, draw an oval on top to form the opening for the sponge.

    Step 4

    Attach a starfish
    Attach a starfish to a rock by forming a star shape.

    Step 5

    Drawing seaweed
    Now, let’s draw some seaweed growing behind the rocks! First, create the middle outline of the seaweed by drawing a long wavy line. Next, create wavy lines on either side of the midrib to create a seaweed shape.

    Step 6

    Sketch Of A Clam Shell
    Sketch the bumpy round shape of the seashell as shown.

    Step 7

    Draw folds and open the clamshell
    First let’s draw the opening of the seashell by creating three bumpy lines that curve upward. Next, create folds in the top and bottom shells by drawing curved lines.

    Step 8

    Add bubbles
    Now let’s add some bubbles by creating circles of different sizes. Also, create a wavy horizontal line to draw the sand.

    Step 9

    Complete the underwater scene drawing
    Let’s finish drawing the underwater scene by first coloring the rocks with a purple pencil. Use a pink pencil to color the coral and a red pencil to color the sponge. Next, fill in the seaweed with a green pencil. Now, color the starfish with an orange pen. Then, mainly color the clam shell with a light orange pen and the opening with a dark orange pen. Finally, color the seabed with an orange pencil and the water with different shades of blue. Don’t forget to color the bubbles with a light blue pencil!

    Step 1

    Begin sketching the cartoon Pteranodon by using a long curved line, doubling itself, to draw the upper part of the beak.
    Use curved lines for the eyebrows and outline the teardrop shape of the eyes. The shadow of a round pupil inside the eye.

    Step 2

    From the top of the head, extend a long curved line and double it to create the top of the dinosaur’s head.
    Use a curved line for its cheek and another line, doubling itself, to form the lower jaw. Use overlapping curved lines to detail the inside of the mouth and tongue.

    Step 3

    Use overlapping curved lines to sketch the animal’s neck and its wing shoulders. Outline the face and head using short lines.

    Step 4

    Draw the pterosaur’s hand or foot, using curved lines that meet at points to form each finger. Extend the fourth finger to support the sail.

    Step 5

    Use long curved lines to sketch the edges of the Pteranodon’s body, the top of each wing, and the edge of the first wing’s sail.

    Step 6

    Use a long curved line for the lower part of the Pteranodon’s remaining arm. Draw pairs of lines that meet at points to enclose the fingers.
    Extend the tip of the fourth finger to support the rest of the wing.

    Step 7

    Use long curved lines to complete the top of the wing, the underside of the long finger, the front of the thorax and abdomen, and the lower edge of the wing.

    Step 8

    Use curved lines to draw the sides of the leg and toes. At the end of each toe, draw small, pointed, curved, triangular claws.

    Step 9

    Finish the feet with curved lines and triangular claws. Use a “V” shaped line for the tail and short lines to outline the neck and shoulders.

    Step 10

    Your Pteranodon sketch is now complete. Color your prehistoric beast. Typically, Pteranodon is depicted in shades of red or brown, but you can color them however you want.
